This has apparently sold 115k in the UK in ONE DAY! UAN sold 53k in one day and TMH 70k so this is a huge jump.

After seeing their performance on the AMAs, they have officially entered my radar. I'm assuming Harry is the most talented one? I know he is in the tabloids because of his fauxmance with Swizzle Stick but when I heard him sing Sunday night, I was pretty impressed. He was straining at some points but there is definitely raw talent. One of them sounded really weak and another one (Liam?) sounded almost as good as Harry. I checked out clips on ITUNES and, while I think it's pretty funny people are calling this a rock album, it's a really solid pop album that recalls the 80s, so I may have to buy it.

Looked it up. They renamed the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater to the PNC Music Pavilion. Will you calm down now? No I won't. I still don't believe it. /photo/1 This is the stage set up for the North American Tour. They can't put that stage in a fixed seat Amphitheater. Only at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. I looked at all the supposed dates and Charlotte would be the only city without a stadium show. That would be wrong on so many levels when we have a stadium and one of the newest ones at that! I will only believe it when they announce it on Good Morning America tomorrow. Happy now?

VIP tickets go on sale at 11 this morning...but they'll probably cost like $500 each so I'll just settle for the Facebook presale next week.

Liam is the best live and is also the most versatile singer followed by Zayn and Liam is also the one who does most of the harmonies in their songs. Harry gets the most media attention as he likes mixing with famous and usually older women and does tend to enjoy the fame and media spotlight the most whilst the others seem to love their privacy. The young fans identify with him the most too. The album is definitely their best one and one of my favorite albums of the year. So many great songs.

Zayn is the best singer by far.
Receipts: The chorus of Right Now.

Idk. I am only basing on that one performance but it seems like Harry is the Nathan Sykes of the group. Doesn't he also write most of the songs too? I don't remember what Zayn sounded like.

Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson have co-writing credits on most of the songs on the album. Just read a rave review from the music critic in the LA Times who called this the most convincing Rock album of the year!

Yes I'm happy now I got tickets (The mid level $125 ones). It still makes no sense to me why out of all 21 cities, Charlotte is the only Amphitheater they are playing when we have an NFL Stadium! I just had to get the full stadium show so I got Atlanta tickets, 2nd row, that's more like it! So 2 1D concerts in 5 days!

Literally don't know who Nathan Sykes is so I can't say. Zayn's vocals are the most distinct and he usually shines the brightest from a pure talent perspective, but I concede that Harry was particularly impressive during the AMA performance. "Story Of My Life" doesn't showcase Zayn as much as I'd like it to but as you get to know more of their catalog you may find yourself falling in line with the popular opinion that Zayn and/or Liam have the most raw talent. Harry is easily in third place though; he's still a terrific vocalist imo and is improving all the time. ON ANOTHER NOTE, I just watched the Jason DeRulo video above and I echo @landmarx in my appreciation for the fact that they still A) have fun and B ) share it with their fans. Did you notice how Zayn & Liam danced with each other like it was nbd, but towards the end Louis attempted to do similar with an obviously uncomfortable Zayn? Interesting!

Can someone tell me who sings which parts on each song? That would be swell. It reminds me of trying to guess which Spice Girl was singing. Edit: It's now officially their album with the lowest score on Metacritic. As for me, well…thank you Pulse for introducing me to something I would have ignored otherwise. This album is excellent. It doesn't matter that it is a "boy band"…it is good on all levels and it hits hard. I am legit in awe of the following songs, in order: 1. Story Of My Life 2. Right Now 3. Better Than Words 4. Little White Lies 5. You and I 6. Strong 7. Through The Dark 8. Something Great (not here for Bieber at the end of the song though… ). 9. Happily The rest are also really good though. I wasn't about to pay $20 for the deluxe, even though it looked cool. A-

I think the top 2 choices for next single are "Right Now" and "You and I." They both sound like classic radio hits in waiting!
Charlotte added a 2nd show at the Amphitheater. Which is a total of 36,000 seats in 2 nights. That again makes me wonder why they didn't do it at the Stadium where they could have had a 50,000 capacity with an end stage setup that they would have easily sold out! I got tickets for both nights in Charlotte, even closer to the stage the 2nd night! God I hate I have to wait for 10 months for this!

Oh dear...I just found out that Zayn is responsible for those cat-on-a-hot-tin-roof high notes on the album. Gross. Liam is definitely a better singer, technically. Even his low notes are better. Harry, on record, is second best. Louis is either whiny or weak. I can never locate Niall. I still need a song-by-song breakdown though.

"Happily" might be my favorite from them ever. All I want is for "Happily" and "Little White Lies" to be released. I like pretty much everything on the album, (Story of My Life has grown on me) except for "You and I" and "Don't Forget Where You Belong".

You don't like You and I?! I don't know you!! It was one the standouts as soon as I heard the album and Story of My Life was what led me to them in the first place. It could be because I am a Mumford stan. I honestly don't know how Louis, and to a lesser extent, Niall, made the group. I'm even more baffled as to why Liam has so few vocal parts when he is the best vocalist...and Louis and Niall have so many. Very weird.
