This great new song was world-premiered this past Monday morning on 'After Midnite With Blair Garner', and it sounds like another smash for one of the VERY best voices in country music.
It was written by the very consistent Radney Foster, whose resume includes Keith Urban's 'Walking On Sunday'.
Ms. Evans did mention that the new CD will be out sometime in June.
Can't wait!!!!!!

As soon as I saw the title, I thought it sounded like a song that Strait had recorded. That song, however, was "A Real Good Place To Start", off the Carrying Your Love With Me album.

I can't wait to hear the full song. Isn;t this the song she sang in the little snippet she did for CBS News? If so the song is great from what I had heard on there.
Plus the song is alread charting on Mediabase #77 so far.

Sara Evans will replace LeeAnn Rimes on Nashville Star untill further notice. LeeAnn Popped a blood vessel in her neck and she can't host until she is able.

I just heard 1:23 of it! It sounds really good! Her voice really sounds great on this song! If you are a member of her fan club you can hear the clip on the Fan Club message board.

Sara sang a small snippet when she was on CBS news talking about illegal downloading. ;)
Yes it is uploaded on her fanclub. I haven't got a chance to hear it though besides the accoustic snippet which sounded absolutely amazing. Just Sara andher guitar.

Ok. This song is amazing. I have the Radney Foster CD with this song on it (CD is title "Another Way To Go" I believe) and it is amazing. Though I really love his version, I think Sara's is just as good. This better be a #1 smash or else...

Great song, nice to see her going back to more of a country style of music, although I love "Restless".

I like this, based on the clip. It should be a big hit for Sara.

Well I signed up with countryhitsongs.com and sat through like 10 crappy songs from the "Rate songs" link (including Shania's latest and Cletus) before I got to this one. OH MY GOD THIS SONG IS AMAZING!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE RADIO TAKE THIS TO NUMBER ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could listen to this forever. Hopefully, the whole CD sounds like this. WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW. There are also some other great songs on this site too like the latest from Jamie O'Neal (amazing song), Rebecca Lynn Howard, Miranda Lambert, and others. The only problem is you can't skip over a song to go to the next one.

regarding listening to songs on countryhitsongs.com if you don't wanna go thru & listen & rate each song just exit out of the song listening window & hit the rate songs button again & keep doin it till the song you want to hear comes up it will come up eventually, i dont have this problem cause i rate em everyday so i dont have a list to go thru. the songs you didn't listen to completly & did not rate will remain in your account till you listen to full song & rate it. ohhh thanks

I was looking forward to this one after reading the comments... but I think the song is awful. It has a pleasant melody, but this is a giant step backward for her career. Well, a step to the side, and a step away from good country music. After recording and releasing a great country song, and getting rewarded with a #1 for that move, she comes back with this over-the-top, badly-arranged, non-country-sounding, generic piece of junk. I'm supposed to be happy about that? And if this one gets rewarded with chart success, that's good news?
Not to me.
And y'all love it. That's just great. She's got the voice, she's got the ability to find great music, but she doesn't have to do it, because her fans are pleased with any kind of crap she chooses to release. You can't tell the difference.
My wife's comment was, "This sounds like something Cher would sing." Sounds about right to me. Go on heaping praise on it. Sara Evans, country goddess. When Lee Ann Womack came out with this kind of garbage, she got slammed hard for it. Now she's back making great music. Sara won't need to do that....

Not country???
This song is awesome! It has steel guitar in it for crying out loud so how is that not country!?
Just because this song does not sound exactly like Suds in the Bucket does not mean that it isn't country or isn't good.
I strongly disagree with you and believe that this is some of Sara's finest work and will be a big hit for her.

Junk is a little strong, don't you think? I think there's plenty of room in country for a solid power pop song like this one with a great hook, fun lyrics from a great country writer, and radio-friendly production. It should be a hit. A steady diet of country ditties and twangy ballads is not what I want country radio to be all about. Country is the new top forty! ~ Jim
