Her upcoming album has been pushed back till October 4th. BIG MISTAKE as A Real Fine Place To Start has really taken off and will peak before the cd release date! >:( On a lighter note she has stated "Coal Mine" will be her next single. Haven't heard it but sounds promising. Scratch Coal Mine as the next single she stated on Radio Lia that "Cheatin" would be the next single. I really like this one! In a way reminds me of classic Lee Ann Womack........Little Past Little Rock era. Just something Sara does with her voice in the song really resembles Lee Ann, not the tone just the way it is sung.

That's what I was saying earlier. Sara Evans singles change just like the weather. Until I see an official add date, I never really expect whatever song is supposed to come out to actually be released.

I love this song still and love the songs I have heard from the new cd. I feel like they should bump up the release date for the album though

We heard Coal Mine and Cheatin' at her concert last week (she was, by the way awesome. Odd thing about hearing her live... the harder the song seems to be vocally, the better she does. She was a bit flat on RFP). Anyway, I think Coal Mine would be better for the next single. Cheatin' is going to remind people of Gretchen, even though it's the guy in the song doing the cheating. Coal Mine is the kind of fast song (a la Suds) that audiences seem to love from Sara.

Saw Sara last night at the Missouri State Fair (she opened for Brad Paisley). She put on a great show, sang "Cheatin" and "Coal Mine" which got great response. Since she is from Missouri she also sang another new song "Missin' Missouri" which got a HUGE response of course--great song.

I wanted to see Sara at the fair, but I was unable to get up there this year.

I agree... this is my most anticipated album of the fall. Is Trick Pony's 'R.I.D.E' considered a summer or fall release? What about Brad Paisley's? Sara Evan's new album is one of my most anticipated albums for.......the rest of this year (fall or summer).

This song moved to #1 on mediabase today! If it can just hold on it is in the perfect position to hold #1 for several weeks.

I'm glad to see this song atop the charts. Now let's hope she can pull of CMA Female Vocalist of the Year (it's her turn!), she deserves it!

Let's go Sara! I sense a 'real fine' woman's 4th number one hit on the horizon (No Place, Born To Fly, Suds being the other 3).
To date, this is my favorite Sara single. My 2nd favorite is "Fool, I'm A Woman" - a song I wish radio would have treated a little better (although my local station still plays it upon request about twice a week).

This is Sara's first single from her new album, and her fourth number one hit. I can't wait for her new album to come out on October 4th!
For all of you "this isn't a country song" people, her next single (Cheatin', I believe?) will satisfy you.

Do you know how many weeks she has been at #1 Total with those 4 songs (counting this week as one, of course)?

Do you know how many weeks she has been at #1 Total with those 4 songs (counting this week as one, of course)? I don't know the R&R numbers for her songs, but I know the Billboard number is very simple: 4. So far, all of her chart toppers have spent exactly one week apiece at the top. Marv, do you know if all three songs I mentioned above also hit #1 on R&R, and if so, for how long? I know her BB #2's (Could Not Ask For More, Perfect) both missed #1 on R&R, so there would be no discrepancy there. Thanks!
