I doubt it will actually affect the song's performance, but "Work Bitch" has become a bit of an unofficial anthem to the US government shutdown. News programs have been using it as background music and referencing it (apparently Britney also tweeted a shutdown reference which was also featured on cable news).

Oops at Work Bitch. A shame that it hasn't taken off to be honest I'm really disappointed in Britney....she could have done better. Where can I find an all-time top airplay chart? I actually love the song but am disappointed in her management/her because of the fact that it hasn't been promoted outside of the video. Since it's been suggested that she won't even properly promote it/anything else until right before the album comes out, I'm thinking they're just going to shove the second single out there a couple weeks before the album like they did with "Till the World Ends".

It will probably make the top ten next week based on streaming and downloads and then float around the bottom-end of the top 40 until the album's out. A shame since I actually think this has tremendous potential.

The "work work work work" part seems like it is ripe for some sort of homemade YouTube meme.

#83 Lana Del Rey - Young And Beautiful Peak:#22 Current:#83 Weeks on chart: 21this should be re-current right ? Wasn't it just announced that this was being re-released with a new mix? Perhaps, they asked Billboard for an exception. (Unlike Demons that got purged even though it never hit the Top 50.) Who knows anymore with Billboard. The rules seem so arbitrary at times.

Billboard is more interested in writing diva articles than actually proof reading the charts.
This week's charts are missing all the latest RIAA certs.

Actually, ILI was what I was referring too, but forgot to include it in my analysis with Demons. There was NO reason why Demons should have been removed, but whatever.

There was absolutely no reason to remove Y&B.
Or have the rules changed again?
