Don't know the date but Tim Mcgraw's new album is going to be called, "Train #10". There is a song on the album called that.

BIG & RICH IN L.A. FOR VIDEO, NEW ALBUM TITLE TUNE Big & Rich are in Los Angeles this week filming the video for "Comin' To Your City," the title track and first single from their highly anticipated new album. As usual, expect the unexpected from this video. As with their first video for “Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy)” there will be a cast of unusual characters. Look for the single to hit country radio in September. The new album will be in stores November 15th.

Tim opened for Faith last night at her concert they were taping in LA. He only did about 4 songs(2 new ones). He said his album will be coming out NEXT year in Feb.
Since his new movie will be out Feb 16th and he stars in it, I think it will be around that time. Also his 2 hour TV special will be air during sweeps month in Feb. That will mean a triple threat for Tim a movie, TV special and album. Glad he is waiting instead of jumping in with all the rest at the end of the year. This means he will be the focus and he will get almost a whole year of sales to count for the top selling album of the year instead of having his sales divided between two years like his last two.
He did a great new song called, "Cowboy Rider" that is about a rodeo rider. He also did this new one called Kristoffern that is great could come right from the lips of the Highwayman themselves. Even mentions Kris in the song with the mention of bourbon.
Other ones he has been doing:
Let's get Drunk and Fight- great very twangy fun song about a husband and wife and when they fight
You Picked a Hel. of A Time to Go Crazy- very rowdy country type song.
Suspiscions- a remake of Eddie Rabbit's song that he does a killer job on, very sexy and bluesy.
Train #10 a haunting song that again could of came out of Johnny Cash's song book.
Where Did I Go So Right- he had a hand in writing this one. Heard it in concert, will be a big hit.
That's What Friends Do(this one might include Kenny and Tracy Lawrence)
Workin(not sure of the correct title but has the feel of Merle's Working Man Blues song.
Also have heard rumors he will have two bonus tracks the "Ride" and Keith Whitley's song, "Don't Close Your Eyes". I have heard him do that song in concert with just him playing the guitar, he does a great job.
He has had a part in writing at least three songs on thr album and one is a song that him and his band wrote.
I think with the drop of DOJ it changed their plans about the release date of this album. Now I think he will play out DYWFWT on the charts and then the duet will come out in September so he will get airplay from that. I think he will debut his new single at the CMA's and that way the duet will have time to move up the chart some before his song comes out.
It was funny last night he did his few songs, then Faith came out, she was being funny and said sorrry about the opening act, we had short notice and that was all we could come up with. Tim came out and did the duet with Faith and blew the rood off the placc with it. She was awesome did most of the new album, plenty of old hits and a a acoustic version of CRY. She closed with a amazing version of Bridge Over Troubled Water.
Mid point they had to change the tape so she was just talking, somebody yelled out sing appacella, she yelled out what do you want me to do. Someone yelled Delta Dawn so she went into a appaccella version of that song. She was great.

It didn't make any sense for him to release a new CD before the year is over under any circumstances.
'DYWFWT' has quite a bit of life left in it, so there wasn't going to be a new single before lmid-to-late-October, which would have meant a new CD just before (or after) the Super Bowl.
Labels like to have at least a 12-week gap between the first single from a CD and that CD, so there wasn't any time to release a CD this year, which his label undoubtedly knew in early May, as did those of us who study and follow this stuff.
The only option was to release a live CD in October and another single from 'LLYWD', followed by a new single from a new CD in the spring, and a new studio CD in late spring.
If he doesn't overtake Kenny Chesney and finish as 2005's #1 singles artist, the 2006 race is going to be VERY interesting!!!!!

There is a big rumor from some inside people that Tim is going to be part of the halftime Super Bowl show all to go along with the deal he has for the seasons Monday's Night football. He filmed a commerical last week to be shown at halftime of the games, one of them rowdy commericals, done at Tootise's.
So with the Feb 16th release of his movie, a starring role, TV special in Feb, good chance the Superbowl and now a new CD, Tim is in good shape.
He will be on CBS on September 9th as part of two hour show called Fashion Rocks where he performs. Also part of a big picture spread in major magazines(Glamour, Vanity Fair, GQ and others) that is part of this Fashion Show.

I love Bible song, that is a Lori McKenna song. Guess she decided if Faith could have three on her album she could have one. I have a feeling we are going to see more of her songs on albums. Word is that Tim will have one on his too.

Guess she decided if Faith could have three on her album she could have one. Right, I am so sure that that was Sara Evans' thought process when she decided to record this song. "If Faith can do it, why can't I? OMG, I'll become the next Faith Hill!". Hmm, I highly doubt that, don't you? EDIT: Left out a word accidentally and it didn't sound right.

Speaking of Neal McCoy, he's going to appear on 'After Midnite With Blair Garner' this coming Wednesday night/Thursday morning, one night after Joe Nichols drops by for a visit.

I didn't mean that how it sounded. What I meant this Lori person is not well known to the Nashville community/artists really don't know for sure. Maybe Sara took a interest in hearing Lori's work after hearing about her because of Faith using her songs. I don't know and don't care, all I know is I love Lori's writing and I love the "Bible Song".

That's what I was thinking too! EVERYTHING boils down to copying the ever precious Tim and Faith ----- NOT If it's similar it must be copied from them! ::) Then to make it look like she didn't mean that she always comes back with a cover up like this: kyhomeg/nursie: If you weren't so afraid of someone actually besting Tim and Faith you wouldn't say things like this in the first place! It's great that Lori McKenna is helping out other artists - but why do you always have to make it into something about Tim and/or Faith? Geez!

A band member of Aaron's band told me he was recently dropped from his label. Did he get picked up? Otherwise, I doubt the Sept. 20th release is gonna happen. It's a shame, too. I really like Aaron's music and he's so adorable!
