Aspirion Records Group, Inc., has announced the official CD release date for their recently signed artist, Collin Raye. The label has released “I Know That’s Right” from his forthcoming album, Twenty Years and Change. The album is slated for release October 25th.
To kick off the new project, Aspirion Records has launched a new website at AspirionRecords.com, featuring their label artists, like Raye, and the artists that Aspirion Records distributes through Navarre Corporation, Inc.
“We’re all anxiously anticipating the new project from Collin,” George Collier, President of Aspirion Records, announced. “The response to getting him back in the studio has been very positive, and we look forward the fan reaction to Twenty Years and Change.”

Lonestar Track Listing:
1. You're Like Coming Home- Current single
2. Doghouse- Very funny song, great for a single choice
3. I'm A Man- Ballad about doing things wrong because he's a man.
4. I'll Die Tryin'- Another song from the Emerson Drive "What If" album. Great ballad, I think will be a single for sure.
5. Wild- Rocker about a girl that's wild but only gets wild with him.
6. Noise- Good song about getting away from all the noise in the world.
7. Little Town- My Town Part 2. Good song about a small town where he lives.
8. I Never Needed You- I'm Already There Part 2- A small twist in this one as the title leaves off "Like I Need You Tonight"
9. What's Wrong With That- Front Porch Looking In Part 2- Really sounds just like it lyricly.
10. Two Bottles of Beer (In Biloxi)- Pretty good song about meeting a girl in Biloxi and what goes on.
11. I just Want to Love You- Talks about turning everything off and just being with the person you love.
12. When I Go Home Again- A cajun flavored song about how you regret not doing things and how he is going back home to do those very things.
This cd should start Lonestar back on the upswing. Let's Be Us Again seemed flat to me and all the singles but Mr. Mom seemed to stall in the charts fairly early.
Single projections:
Doghouse I'll Die Tryin' Wild I'm A Man
Maybe Noise or What's Wrong With That

Here's to hoping that Lonestar never has an upswing again. These manufactured pop star wanna-be's need to leave country music or actually make some. Rascal Flatts has the pop-boy band masquerading as a country act void all filled up. When a group of guys can't write any of their songs or really even play instruments very well (I doubt they play in the studio), they have no place being called a band. Just mho.

Listen I'm not a fan of the Flatts at all, the lead singer's voice makes me cringe but, they do write and play so that information you have wrong. Also they must fill some void, cause they are widely sucessful, and in fact, so far THIS YEAR have the #1 BEST SELLING COUNTRY ALBUM WITH OVER 1.2 MILLION. This is on a album that came out in 2004. This week alone they are #3 and sold 50,000. So WE might not like then but it is obivious someone does. I do like their songs, "I'm Movin On' and "Bless the Broken Road". As for Lonestar I'm more of a fan of their, "No News" era not the syrupy stuff they do now. They do write and play though.

:o Aaron Lines has been pushed to September 20th... God.. It was saposed to be released in June! Anyone know when/if Amanda Wilkinson's CD will be released? A band member of Aaron's band told me he was recently dropped from his label. Did he get picked up? Otherwise, I doubt the Sept. 20th release is gonna happen. It's a shame, too. I really like Aaron's music and he's so adorable! :o Are you Serious? I hope not!

Here is the message from Aaron's site for any fans of his---
Hi everybody...
I wanted to let you know that I have parted ways with BNA records.
We are looking at some other options now and are still hopeful that we can get this CD out in the Fall but as you can imagine, this is a complicated process. The good news is that we are very optimistic about what the future holds. I am so grateful to have the support you have shown over the last few years. Its been a long road since those early days but we still have a long way to go...and the best part of the journey is still ahead. I can't wait for you to hear what we've been up to...Hopefully that will be soon. Hope to see you soon --Aaron

-- Joe Nichols' new album, "III," will arrive in stores on October 25. The disc includes the single, "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off," already the fastest rising single of his career According to Nichols, he decided to dig back into his roots for this CD and create an LP's worth of tunes that reminded him of the great hardcore country music he and his dad Mike, a long haul truck driver, would listen to during his youth. Nichols says he has long admired artists like Gene Watson, Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson, and knew with his third release for Universal South, that was the direction he wanted to take. I've only heard 2 songs so far....SHeDAISY's contribution, and Anna Nalick's remake...had to skip shania, but I must say the 2 songs I've heard I'm quite impressed with. Anna does a rocking job on Band of Gold.

Here's the tracklist for Reba's number ones. It's obvious that they were really reaching for some of the number ones. I'm A Survivor and Ringer On Her Finger weren't even videos so where did these go number one? And the other new cut is "Love Needs A Holiday". I love Reba but the title sounds cheesey.
DISK I “You’re Gonna Be” “Can’t Even Get The Blues” “You’re The First Time I’ve Thought About Leaving” “How Blue” “Somebody Should Leave” “Whoever’s In New England” “Little Rock” “What Am I Gonna Do About You” “One Promise Too Late” “The Last One to Know” “Love Will Find Its Way to You” “I Know How He Feels” “New Fool In An Old Game” “Cathy’s Clown” “Walk On” “You Lie” “Rumor Has It”
DISK II “Love Needs A Holiday” “For My Broken Heart” “Is There Life Out There” “The Greatest Man I Never Knew” “It’s Your Call” “The Heart Won’t Lie” “Does He Love You” “Till You Love Me” “The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter” “And Still” “Ring On Her Finger, Time On Her Hands” “The Fear Of Being Alone” “How Was I To Know” “If You See Him/If You See Her” “Forever Love” “What Do You Say” “I’m A Survivor” “Somebody”

Seems American Idol winner Carrie Underwood apparently is quite serious about this country music thing after all. Carrie has been in Nashville for two weeks finishing her first album, which will be called Some Hearts, an album that "drops" (that's what the kids say today) Nov. 15. Coincidence that that happens to be the same date as the CMA Awards show? I think not. Carrie indeed plans to be in New York to take advantage of all of the nationwide CMA media coverage to talk about her album. So what will the album sound like? Think pop-country. It's being produced by Mark Bright, who has made albums with Rascal Flatts and Sara Evans and others, and Dann Huff, who has worked with Faith Hill and Keith Urban. I heard a snippet of the first single, a pretty ballad called Jesus Take the Wheel, and it sounds quite a bit like a Sara Evans song. Look for the single to come onto country radio Oct. 18, and then you'll see her on several national TV shows in about three weeks. ..... tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll.../509300365/1121

Montgomery Gentry 'Proud' Of Best-Of
By Barry A. Jeckell, N.Y.
Montgomery Gentry, part of a wave of duos that has curried country music favor in recent years, has assembled a collection of hits spanning its brief history. Due Nov. 1 via Columbia, "Something To Be Proud Of: Best Of 1999-2005" pairs 12 familiar cuts with one new one, "She Don't Tell Me To."
"It feels like we just put out 'Hillbilly Shoes,'" Eddie Montgomery says, recalling the opening track of the pair's 1999 debut, "Tattoos & Scars," and first hit single. "I can't believe we've got a greatest hits album coming out. It absolutely blows my mind. And in a sense it feels like we're just now getting started."
"Hillbilly Shoes" peaked at No. 13 on the Hot County Songs chart in May 1999, becoming the first in a string of Montgomery Gentry hits. That streak continues with the compilation's title track, taken from last year's "You Do Your Thing," which advances 2-1 this week on the chart.
The set also features last year's No. 1, "If You Ever Stop Loving Me" and the 2001 No. 2 hit "She Couldn't Change Me." Also notable is the inclusion of "Didn't I," MG's contribution to the 2002 "We Were Soldiers" soundtrack, and a cover of Robert Earl Keen's "Merry Christmas From the Family," released as a holiday single in 2001.
Montgomery Gentry is in the midst of a U.S. tour that lands Friday (Sept. 30) in Omaha, Neb. The group has scattered dates into 2006, including an appearance at the San Antonio (Texas) Stock Show & Rodeo in February.
Here is the "Something To Be Proud Of: Best of 1999-2005" track list:
"She Don't Tell Me To" "Something To Be Proud Of" "Gone" "If You Ever Stop Loving Me" "Hell Yeah" "Speed" "My Town" "Didn't I" "She Couldn't Change Me" "Daddy Won't Sell the Farm" "Lonely & Gone" "Hillbilly Shoes" "Merry Christmas From the Family"

Q: Is Rascal Flatts going to release any more singles from the album "Feels Like Today"? A: The last single from "Feels Like Today" is the last song on the album, "Skin (Sarabeth's Song)," that is currently on the charts. Their next single will come out in late January from the next album, which is scheduled for release in April 2006. [Country Stars]
