Well this sounds more like the Brad that we all have got to know over the years! I'll have to stream the whole thing first, but it is a big step up from his last mess of an album.

Aaaaand. The video is gone. Argh! Brad posted this on Facebook: "Better listen to this while you can. I bet the label tries to pull it down. Clock's ticking." And then he later added that he'll have another preview up soon, I think sometime tomorrow morning (if I'm interpreting the post correctly).

So when is Taylor Swift's album out? Is there a release date?
The pendulum has swung in favor of pop on country radio in 2014 (much more so than 2012), so maybe Taylor won't get such a negative reaction like "We're Never Ever Getting Back Together" with her 1st single.

The rumored lead single for Taylor is called "Sparrow" and it involves choreography that she's been working on for the video. Her 1D ex, Harry Styles, has 2 huge sparrow tattoos on his chest. Put those 2 things together and it sounds like this could be a song about her failed relationship with him.
This has been discussed on her thread in the General Artist forums.

October 14th for Florida Georgia Line's album. Unclear if the name is "Anything Goes" or not. But there is a release date. Florida Georgia Line @flagaline Hope y'all ready for another ride with this new album....anything goes....but for real though...#anythinggoes #october14th This tweet has now been deleted... And there is speculation it's because Taylor is expected to release her CD on 10/13. (Yes, Monday, but 13 is her number.) kml567 that sort of answers your question. There's also a lot of speculation that Billboard won't even classify Taylor's CD as country.

"This album is very encompassing of everything that I’ve done in my career. I think it's a good microcosm of what my 20 or so years in music have been, in a lot of ways. You can certainly hear parts of my career throughout all of these songs, as well as the future and where my music is headed. I really like the track list for Tim's album, but that cover is...not very good. The Two Lanes Of Freedom cover was really, really good--certainly much better than this one.

I concur with the sentiment in Tim's album cover not being good. In fact I think it's pretty atrocious with the way they put his name on there with the colors scheme of black and orange.
I'm optimistic about the music itself though due to "Meanwhile Back At Mama's" and "City Lights"

Tim's release date seems so far away. MBAM's may have peaked by the time it is released and they could be on the 3rd single even before the CD is released.

First of all, why should Billboard classify any of Taylor Swift's albums as country?? Does anyone think "I Knew You Were Trouble", or "Never ever ever ever ever" is a country song??? Where are your ears?

Where are your ears? Because she was Country when she started out, and as long as Big Machine calls her a Country artist, she will continue to be classified as one.

Yeah okay fair enough...I think Speak Now was taylor's last country influenced CD...Red was all POP all the way! teeny bopper!

Agree the consensus on Tim's new album: love the way the tracklisting sounds, but not a fan of the packaging. Yeah okay fair enough...I think Speak Now was taylor's last country influenced CD...Red was all POP all the way! teeny bopper! Red was more pop than any of her previous releases, but to say that she abandoned country music with it is just wrong: All Too Well, I Almost Do, Stay Stay Stay, Begin Again, and the title track are all country songs. I expect (and hope) that Taylor will continue to toe the line between the two and deliver some excellent country songs with her new album while still catering to the pop audience that she's become increasingly more popular amongst.

Can't wait for Taylor's album! Hope there's some gems a la All Too Well & Enchanted on there. Looking at who's released albums this year - and who's scheduled to release in Q4, it's crazy how many of country's A/B-list have released/are releasing in 2014. It's been a great year for Country music.

I'm really looking forward to Tim's album. That track list looks great...I'm very anxious to hear his album (as well as Kenny's new one).

New Big & Rich September 23rd. Hopefully it's along the lines of Comin' To Your City. September is gearing up to be a MASSIVE release month.

^ I've heard a couple of tracks from the album (live versions though) and I'm optimistic about it. "Gravity" was particularly good and reminiscent of the stuff off their Between Raising Hell And Amazing Grace and Comin' To Your City albums.

Sabre - Given the animation you have as your profile pic, I'm not surprised that you don't like the orange and black scheme. That's the Philadelphia Flyers colors. As you can see in the avi, the Sabres defenseman Brian Campbell destroys the Flyers forward R.J Umberger. So no - my avatar actually backs me up not being a fan of the orange and black colors. ;)

As noted earlier, Big & Rich will release their 5th studio album entitled Gravity on September 23rd, 2014. It will be the first on their own label (Big & Rich Records) and help from Kobalt Label Services. Track Listing:1. Look At You 2. Lovin' Lately (feat. Tim McGraw) 3. Gravity 4. Brand New Buzz 5. Rollin' Along 6. Run Away With You 7. Lose A Little Sleep 8. Don't Wake Me Uop 9. That Kind Of Town 10. Thank God For Pain 11. I Came To Git Down SourceI've heard four songs from this project, including "Look At You" and I'm optimistic about this album being the Big & Rich of a few years ago. "Brand New Buzz" is a mid to uptempo love song (deceiving title), and "Gravity" reminded me of songs such as "Eternity" off their Between Raising Hell And Amazing Grace album and to a lesser extent "Leap Of Faith" from their Comin' To Your City album.

"We Goin' Out" added to iTunes off the upcoming Chase Rice album Ignite The Night. He also sent a free download of "Carolina Can", another track off the album, to his email subscribers.

Quick question (I hope)
I have been wondering about a chart on ALL Access called Country Street Pulse. Does anyone know how this relates to album sales for an artist? I see that there is a percentage in regards to units, but was curious how this impacts the overall album and if it is a viable chart.
Thank you.

So...the pros and cons from Tim McGraw's recent unveiling:
Pros: * Nice to know there are 13 tracks for the standard and 18 for the deluxe.
Cons: * Whoever designed the cover must've just done it the night before; that's how bad it looks. I literally shook my head at first glance. * Why in the name of Sam Hill is...that thing (LFTG) on the album? Yeah, I know it was a single, but I could've easily interpreted it (and secretly wished it would be treated) as a buzz single.
Aye carumba.

And iTunes denotes the song as "explicit". I don't think I have ever seen an explicit song on the iTunes country chart. Not that I'm completely offended by cussing or anything, but it just goes to show the changing of the culture of country music and country music fans..

I don't think I have ever seen an explicit song on the iTunes country chart. "Baggage Claim" and "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" are tagged "explicit."
