I light candles and pray now, especially with the J. Cole remix, that KOSM becomes an official single.

Got back from her gig just now. Incredible singer, and I stress that last word so carefully. I'll post a full review tomorrow most likely.

I am not here for all the apathy towards SYLM and KOSM! "Kind Of...Sometimes...Maybe..." is the song that got me to check this album out on Spotify. I was actually disappointed the other songs weren't quite in the same vein.

I cannot get enough of Kind of...Sometimes...Maybe! Not listed in the projections for next week. Devotion debuted at #79 with 6k so I'm hoping she can crack top-50 with 10k this time. #50 with 6.1k.

Is she doing any more NYC gigs? I gotta work my connections better and see some of my faves now that I'm here!

So underrated. Did she even performed in the US? She tours here but she's yet to have a televised performance.

I gotta work my connections better LOL What's the point of having connections if you can't use them to your advantage? It's what got me into a Grizzly Bear show at the MFA in Boston minutes before it started (my big brother in my fraternity is Dan's brother) and other shit. It's not what you know, it's who you know. Anyway, next time Jessie is in town, I'm there.

Looks like she was on Seth Myers the other night: www.nbc.com/late-night-with-seth-meyers/video/jessie-ware-performance-say-you-love-me/2823052?onid=146956#vc146956=1I'm in love with this album. I loved Devotion and love the songs on their own, but felt like the album didn't flow right. I always felt like it should start with "No To Love" [always felt more like an opening interlude rather than a full song to me], then "Still Love You", and then from "Devotion" onward would probably be fine. Everything about the new album feels perfect. I want to listen to the whole thing from start to finish, and each time I listen I pick up a new favorite.

Finally! Her team needs to pimp the Ed Sheeran co-write on the song so America can fall in love with Jessie already!

^I agree. I haven't bought the album (hoping the price will come down some in the coming weeks), but I'm curious if the rest of the album lives up to that. Never heard of her before "SYLM," tbh.

You can preview a good half of it on her SoundCloud if you're looking to hear more before you buy, so you know! Oh, and to Shooter's post at the top of the page: I just hope she gets a single at all in the US, regardless of what it is! :/

Is anyone else keeping with Jessie's 5 DAYS, 5 CITIES, 5 REMIXES project for "Keep On Lying"? It's been brilliant so far.
Pional has been one of my favorites for the past two years or so and I'm so stoked that they've worked together. Also loving the work tech house goddess Nina Kraviz has done, and the Preditah remix is such sweet sentimental 2000-ish garage.

The more I listen to this album, the more it sinks in. Jessie's sound is so...sophisticated. I can't think of another word for it but yeah. Her voice is very hypnotic. I really hope to see her live one day.

There we have it. Five remixes recorded in five cities in five days. I kind of love them all, but Pional & Nina >
There's also video footage of her in the studio of each of these remixers. Looks like a fun time for everyone all around.

Figures the best song of the album gets the remixes! "Keep On Lying" is just kind of majestic and sublime in it's original form. The Preditah and Nina Kraviz remixes are my favorite ones out of the five, but overall all of them are still quite enjoyable and still keep the integrity of the song.

I finally got around to listening to this. Her voice is just gorgeous. Really solid album and I figure I'll be listening to this for the rest of the year on repeat.

I'm still stuck on her debut project. I guess it's time for me to get into this one. She's a great artist. I just wish that she would get more support in the U.S.

I'll probably have to listen to this a while before I can give complete thoughts. But, besides "SYLM," "You & I (Forever)," "Keep On Lying," "Pieces," "Cruel," "Keep On Lying," "Champagne Kisses," and "Midnight Caller" are my favorites on first listen. I'm not sure it's my favorite album this year, but it's in the top 5 at least. Will probably pick up her earlier stuff, too.

"Tough Love" is #1 on Slant's 25 Best Singles of 2014.
"Say You Love Me" is #3. Jessie is the only act to have two singles on the list.
Albums list isn't out yet.

She's (wrongfully) uncredited on Nicki's album for singing the hook on this but hopefully it helps contribute to her American exposure regardless.

I should clarify her name is in the liner notes credits but it's still not billed as featuring Jessie Ware despite her having wrote and sang the hook.
