The album that introduced me to Jewel. In fact, Intuition was the 1st song ever I heard by her and loved immediately. The rest is history ... Intuition is also my favorite/most played/most posted song/video on FB etc ... by Jewel Peaked # 20 on Hot 100 and #1 on Club/Dance Chart! 3 singles from album were: Intuition, Stand and 2 Become 1 Stand was also # 1 on Dance/Club Chart! The album debuted at # 2 with 144.000 copies sold in 1st week. It is her highest charting album.

I like 0304 but I really think it would be a much better album with 3 or 4 songs less. If they took off Fragile Heart, Doin' Fine and America the album would flow much better. And I wish she had been a little more adventurous with it. Many songs share similar patterns, both lyrically and musically. Still, it has a few great stand alone tracks. Becoming is a total favorite of mine.

This was a career-ending album for her.

Her career is still going. She was already reaching a point where her songs weren't hitting radio anyway so if anything, this album extended her radio career by a year. After this record, she put out another light pop album, two country albums, two children's albums, another holiday album and a greatest hits album.
Though I will say that nothing that came out after 0304 was as good as that one for me.
I think as different as this one was to her previous records (and the ones that came after), it still had the Jewel charm and I think she genuinely was going for the tongue-in-cheek sexualization of music but most people just go for the quick conclusion that she "sold out", which did probably lose her a lot of fans.
I do like this album more than most and it probably contains some of my favourite songs by her. 2 Find U is probably in my Top 10, if not Top 5, and I love Stand too. I did get extremely burnt out on Intuition so I don't listen to that song much but I do like to put the album on in the middle of summer because it reminds me a lot of the summer it came out - which was my first summer living away from home, so this album I love probably because of nostalgia more than anything. Granted, I think that goes for a lot of Jewel's stuff up to this point for me, something that applies still to a few of her Goodbye Alice In Wonderland songs in 2005 but ceased after that.

She took the risk maybe with this album, but from this point I think it was for the better! Goodbye Alice is maybe my favorite album. I think it is just perfect! And yes, I can totally agree or see your point about nostalgia and Jewel... But also, there is smth in her voice that makes you think of old days...

This was a career-ending album for her. Her career actually expended after this album... But I think she has said that she was glad she made this album and I am too
