I caved in and listen a stream of the album...in my opinion Inside Out was ruined by the new production (smells of Kanye); Beautiful Scars was also ruined with the new production. Iconic, SEX, Body Shop, Holy Water and VVV were embarrassing as demos and still are...Rebel Heart and WAOM are drastically different, but not bad, Messiah was messed with but the final version is not terrible; her vocals are still lovely...I find some of the production too tacky (I'm afraid it may not age well)...Ghost-town is still the best song...however Queen is pretty good (nice lyrics). Some say that this leaked version may not be the final mastered version...

I did like the "Inside Out" demo better I must admit, but I don't think it's ruined. I still like the track quite a bit. "Rebel Heart" is fine to me, the demo was great, but too typically Avicii. I don't mind the switch up (although the vocals need to be pushed forward more). "Hold Tight" looses some of it's oomph, but it's still good. And is it just me, or did Ryan Tedder borrow some of his production elements from "Baby Don't Lie" (not the first time Ryan)?
And "Wash All Over Me" is infinitely better as a ballad. Love it. And I love the new "Joan Of Arc." I can't handle the changes to "Beautiful Scars" though. In what world do they think that enhanced the song?

A preview of a review. Still not listening until her album is officially released but this will hold me till then.
http://discopopheave...l-heart-madonna It’s been years since Madonna had released some new material which would be good enough to please both critics and fans. We all remember the sweet, yet underwhelming disco-throwback “Hard Candy” offered us, and well as the carefree euro-dance of “MDNA”. Both of these albums, while containing some good songs, weren’t strong enough as a body of work. On “Hard Candy”, Madonna was often out-shadowed by Pharrell, Justin Timberlake, and Timbaland’s productions. On “MDNA”, she tried too hard to please young fans with basic dance music and generic singles that the rich lyrical layer (mostly treating of her divorce with Guy Ritchie) was put aside in favor of cliché songwriting (remember “Turn Up the Radio”?). These periods were hard to swallow for fans who knew and loved “Ray of Light” or even “American Life” for its lyrical depths and experimental music, or even “Confessions”, for its re-invention of Madonna’s persona. The “Rebel Heart” era will be remembered mostly for its many leaks (all of the songs from the album somewhat leaked in over a month), but it’s a shame. “Rebel Heart” is actually a wonderful addition to Madonna’s discography, and her greatest album of the last decade. While we experienced the first six songs early, as Madonna released them on iTunes back in late December, waiting was required for the other ones. And here they are, after the whole album and its 25 (!) songs leaked. And guess what? They’re actually really good. Those who heard the demos know that Avicii heavily contributed on some of the songs, including the title track. Well, here, his productions are more subtle. Goodbye, good old dance breakdowns, welcome actual melodies. “Rebel Heart” becomes a country song, which would perfectly fit on “Music”, while “Wash All Over Me” is now a symphonic album closer, where Madonna reflects on her loneliness. Of all the demo songs, “Body Shop” is actually the one who transitioned the most successfully. It is now a sweet, guitar-driven song, where Madonna shines as a playful, loving partner for her lover. The album raises the question of Madonna’s identity: is she a revolutionist, a loner, a deluded woman, a fierce diva, …? She’s actually all of that, and she says it herself. Yes, she may have flaws and she may come off as a heartless diva, but really, she’s as much a sucker for love as we all are. “Take me with all my stupid flaws”, she sings, and we happily oblige. This album could easily be compared to “American Life” and its sumptuous, personal ballads, as Madonna delivers here some of her best material in years. “Ghosttown”, an apocalyptic ballad, “Joan of Arc”, a confession of lack of confidence facing the hardest times, and “Messiah” a masterpiece of unrequited love: they are delicate, honest songs, and the proof that Madonna can actually deliver real down-tempo songs with talent and confidence (remember “Take a Bow”?). But let’s not forget the more up-tempo songs: “Living for Love” and its mix between dubstep and “Like a Prayer” gospel-throwback is a winning mix, while “Hold Tight” is a soaring anthem to be. “Iconic” is the most basic song on the standard version and yet its dark, yet empowering nature makes it all work alright. Plus, how good is self-reference when it’s about playing “Vogue” halfway through your songs? The Natalia Kills-penned “Holy Water” feels straight out of “Hard Candy”, and its futurist production and cheeky lyrics remind us of what the 2008 could have been. Madonna also self-references herself on “Veni Vedi Vici”, an autobiographical piece where she remembers her success throughout past successes. Madonna offers us her best dance material thanks to eclectic genres mixes and autobiographical exploration, yet she shines the most through her ballads, where the woman behind the persona reveals herself for the first time since 2003. In a world that changes, Madonna stays the same, and we are so much thankful for that “Rebel Heart” in our lives.

I'm not sure if I think that they should drop the album in the next day or so, considering it's leaked in full anyways, or just wait until MONDAY (edit, whoops) so that it gets a full-weeks sales for its first week on Billboard, and to capitalize on the Grammy's. I'm guessing they are going to wait, right? But they can't possibly be planning on waiting until March to release it now.

This is why I don't listen to leaks. I'm sure I'll be blown away, in fact I'm SUREof it, and I don't have anything to compare anything to. I can't wait. So happy I'm waiting.

I briefly listened to the RH and WAOM demos (on the first day they leaked) and I loved Madonna's voice and melody but the music sounded outdated. I'm actually happy to hear that they have been reworked. I'm sure I will like them better.

Madonna To Perform at BRIT AwardsBy Lars Brandle | February 04, 2015 12:56 AM ESTThe Queen of Pop will get her chance to rule at the BRIT Awards. Madonna will return to her old stomping ground later this month when she performs at the British recording industry's flagship awards ceremony. The veteran singer, a two-time BRITS winner, is confirmed to a bill that includes previously-announced performers Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith, George Ezra, Royal Blood, Take That and Taylor Swift, who just last week revealed that she was a star-struck fan of Madonna. The 2015 gala will be held Feb. 25 at The O2 in London, and will be broadcast live on free-to-air network ITV. Madonna won BRITS in 2001 and 2006 in the best international female category. It's been a full 20 years since she last played the BRITS; on that night back in 1995, she opened proceedings with a performance of her U.K. top 5 hit "Bedtime Stories". "We're delighted to bring Madonna back to the BRITS," comments BRITS chairman Max Lousada. "She's an icon, an innovator and, above all, an entertainer. Having her as part of the show will guarantee an unforgettable night of music." Madonna once called England home. After she married the movie director Guy Ritchie in 2000, the American superstar reinvented herself as a posh Brit. She took up residence in a country mansion, took to horse riding, hunting and even spoke with a curious British accent. The pair divorced in 2008. Madonna is on the promotion trail for her 13 studio album Rebel Heart, which will be released March 9 via Universal Music. www.billboard.com/articles/columns/pop-shop/6458385/madonna-to-perform-at-brit-awards

Okay, I've been listening to the album A LOT. Lots of good stuff on here! I've found the more Madonna tries to sound current, the more the album suffers. The more classically structured, produced and written songs on the album are the ones that work for me. She's always been a very traditional song writer, when she veers off that path, things start to fall apart IMO. These are the strongest of the tracks IMO:
Living For Love Devil Pray Ghosttown Unapologetic Bitch Hold Tight Joan Of Arc HeartBreakCity Inside Out Wash All Over Me Best Night Messiah Rebel Heart Borrowed Time Graffiti Heart
Middle of the pack:
Bitch I'm Madonna (the instrumental really saves this one, it slayed in the club the other day) Iconic (why is Mike Tyson on this again?) Body Shop Beautiful Scars (if I didn't love the demo so much more, I'd rank this higher) Queen (I think this one will grow on me though) Addicted (she sounds so sour vocally on this, really knocks it down)
NOPE:
Illuminati (I cannot handle the rapping on this, AWFUL) Holy Water (production is really solid, but "drink my precious alcohol" is probably the unsexiest lyric ever written) Veni Vidi Vici (her delivery doesn't work. Out of all the NOPE tracks, this has the most potential to grow on me) S.E.X. Autotune Baby (there is a really interesting idea here, but her vocal does not mesh with this at all. And the lyrics...)

I think my favourite thing about this, even in its weaker moments, is that it sounds like a Madonna album - can't imagine anyone else doing some of these songs.
Still needs editing though. I may just delete Body Shop..........
Also, I love SEX - sounds like an interlude of sorts. The lyrics can be horrendous, but the production is brilliant.
Whoever mentioned the production becoming dated - couldn't disagree more - this is her strongest produced album overall since COADF, in an entirely different way of course, but still. It sounds expensive.
Thankfully she doesn't try for current that much - the Avicii stuff has clearly been reworked to not sound dated, which I appreciate.

Heres my review after listening several times over
1. Living for Love - Keep trying to force feed myself this song. Its Ok. Ill live with it 2. Devil Pray - Awesome track and sounds like AL or Music Madonna 3. Ghosttown -- Love the lyrics and also this song is dope 4. Unapologetic B!tch -- WHOA 1st Single Material Cannot understand why This wasnt choses instead of LFL 5. Illuminati ---Production is DOPE AF !!! I play this one alot on the touchtunes jukebox down at da bar 6. B!tch I'm Madonna feat. Nicki Minaj--Another one that the Production is too good not to like. one of the best Madonna beats ever! 7. Hold Tight - I liked the demo and I like the Final even more. Its strictly an album track tho 8. Joan of Arc -- Like the demo tho it was such a downer. Glad they made this a bit more upbeat very Poppy tho 9. Iconic feat Chance the Rapper & Mike Tyson -- SLAYS. Cannot wait to see this one LiVe. I thought Id like Chance's verse alot more tho.Its Kind of just there? I know it will grow on me tho. 10. HeartBreakCity - Love 11. Body Shop --- This was a favorite from the beginning and why does Madonna sound the sweetest shes sounded in years! Id love to be the mechanic shes singing too 12. Holy Water --- WOW !! This is 10x better than demo and probably the standout track of the whole album. I want to know is this a KANYE tampered Production.. the Surprising YEEZUS like is everything !! 13. Inside Out -- This one screams of Kanye tampering too? This is a nice ALBUM track 14. Wash All Over Me -- HMmm jury is out -I liked the dance version of this. I need to get usedto it but it works as a ballad...I GUESS?
15. Best Night [Deluxe] -- THIS IS JUST STRAIT UP FROM BEDTIME STORIES ALBUM!! I think Drake on this Remix coudl be a hit. DEFINETLY One of my faves from the album 16. Veni Vidi Vici feat. Nas [Deluxe]-- THIS NEEDS TO BE A SINGLE!!! Straight up Madonna telling HER STORY. The NAS rap is also perfect --- He tells his struggle she tells his. I could see a Video crusing thru nEW YorK re-enacting there come ups 17. S.E.X [Deluxe] --- WOW !!! strait Banger I heard this on my speaker system in my car on High and it was rattling !! any Madonna track that hits like this is truly EPIC. 1 of my faves. 18. Messiah [Deluxe]-- Not a standout and I dont like this very much? a Bit like Spanish Eyes from Like A prayer came to mind 19. Rebel Heart [Deluxe] -- DO NOT LIKE what they did to the song. Its still Tolerable -- The Demo of this was 10x better and sounded like a HIT and a potential Single. Now in Final form im not sure it could be a single
20. Beautiful Scars [Super Deluxe] -- WoW what a difference from the demo. I like this Re-Tooling actually 21. Queen [Super Deluxe] -- Dont get this track yet? maybe a grower 22. Borrowed Time [Super Deluxe] -- Still Not a Fan a bit boring 23. Graffiti Heart [Super Deluxe]Still Not a Fan a bit boring 24. Autotune Baby [Super Deluxe]-- WOW what a Weird SONG !! at first listen i was like WTF? now after several listens Im in love!! That chorus screams of TRICKY and The Dream production. Wonder who produced this. Its awesomely weird ! 25. Addicted [Super Deluxe] - Still Not a Fan a bit boring
Pretty Much this will be one of my all time Favorite Madonna albums I would only skip Borrowed Time, Graffiti Heart, & Addicted really. Very proud of Madonna and the music on the album. SLICK SLICK PRODUCTION on nearly every song whether stripped down or over done. I love it!!!!!!!!

I cannot wait till the super deluxe is released….I have no self control and have streamed the full album. You guys are in for a treat is all I have to say. It is modern but with that signature Madonna sound and you have sprinkles of some of her best albums on here.
The samples of two of her previous classic number 1 songs on two of the new songs is really fun as well. If this album does not sell well then I'm just lost on peoples taste!

Majority of her songs are so much better than what radio is playing now. I hope they give her a chance this era.

Yes, ★DISCO★- thanks for sharing. Looking forward to it even more. :)
Are there any concrete "rumors" it may be released next week, outside of fans saying that would be a good idea?
