This is too damn good to not make an impact, and anyone who thinks this is too urban for top 40 can go dry clean Yonces blouse.

a big percentage of the songs that are being played on the radio these days are very sexual so i don't think radio programmers should reject songs like Partition or Blow "Sold out arenas u can suck my penis" is not rejected ? gimme a break !!!! Yeah, that's like saying "Sleeping With A Friend" is too sexual for radio. Really, the only thing hindering them getting any chance at pop is how fast DIL had plummeted and for the latter, getting lost in the shuffle by Kesha's song of the same name. And NErD can take his pressed ass home.

I do love this song, and don't get why people say it isn't suited for Pop radio. Can someone attempt to explain it? Or better yet, don't waste your time because it's a false statement

Ok, Pop radio I can understand maybe being a bit confused about what to do with Drunk In Love, but the confusion about playing this is ridiculous.

Something needs to happen fast I don't want her momentum to be lost. What momentum? Beyonce has had very little momentum on Pop Radio for several years now.

They have a song coming to them called pretty hurts. But I thought she was supposed to say f**k you to pop radio? ??? I would've liked that. However, seeing as pop radio probably picked this song I will let it slide. I don't have a problem with pop radio. I just don't think it should factor into the charts now that there is enough digital information to justify not having radio as a HOT 100 component.

This should have smashed. If it hasn't happened by now though, it sadly never will.

Um, who the hell locked this? Even if this isn't going to be a big Pop hit for her, it's still climbing, and to lock this now while "Pretty Hurts" has had no single roll out beyond the video yet strikes me as very arbitrary.

Beyonce has stated her distaste with the culture of singles, and she proved she doesn't even need them. She has album sales, played the Superbowl, proved she could sell-out a tour without a new album in years, & proved she could sell out the whole tour again with a new album. What does a "hit" matter at this point really?

I believe in singles and singles only... If a song is not goid enough to be a single on its own merits, it is not worth releasing IMO. That is where the world is headed with or without Beyonce. People have many entertainment options available to them. Sometimes you have to play the game. Beyonce has to realize people arent going to like every song on your album and limiting them to album purchases is only limiting the amount of product you can sell. You cant hide behind the whole, I am an albums artist...when the market is moving towards singles. I would understand her gripes if they were about radio station corruption, sexism and ageism... But just ignoring the reality of what consumers want is a recippe for disaster.

What does a "hit" matter at this point really? Plus, I'd consider Partition to be a hit either way. I mean, I hear it every time I go out and everyone loves it. It's almost as if Pop radio never caught on with what was popular from day one. If I didn't follow chart runs, I'd think Partition was huge based on how popular it is amongst my friends and just clubs in general.
