They have added Asia and South Africa to next year in March/April. Also the UAE in Middle East! www.ontheroadagain1d.com/Strange they are playing Australia but not New Zealand! This is just in less than a day these have come out. I would not be shocked to see Russia added too. They've never played Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, etc in East Europe. So they could be next. And of course I'm sure eventually we'll see dates in North America and West Europe. Hopefully in North America they will remember Canada (other than Toronto) and the Upper American West and Midwest which they skipped this year. Hawaii would be nice too!

The Big Payno (Liam Payne's) remix is also as Under Cool New Music via AllAccess.

The Big Payno (Liam Payne's) remix is also as Under Cool New Music via AllAccess. Considering that the original is stalling, this is a smart move. The remix is alright and I hate the original to begin with.

If Pitbull can fall fast enough, this might get into the top 20 by Sunday.

Callout scores are in. They're not too great...but, they're not horrible either. It comes in with a middle-of-the-pack Positive rating, and the second-lowest Favorite score (only "Ten Feet Tall" is lower) - but, there's not a lot of hate for it either, as it's also among the ten-least-disliked songs.
So...I guess we'll see?

Looks like it will be #22 this week. KONGOS and OneRepublic are likely to pass it tomorrow.

Can this flop already so that the Summer Smash Happily can be released?

I heard this for the first time on Saturday on the radio and I didn't know it was them until the DJ said it was the latest from 1D after it ended.

Looks like this song has lost its bullet...and has lost spins the past couple days. Think it's done? It peaked at 21...

Unfortunately this song is done. If their label has any sense left they'll hurry and pull it and put "Happily" out!

I think they'll be quiet for a few months till the next album. This was a bad note to go out on tho...

This was the last of their problems. They are keeping a low profile (like they did with Liam's twitter disaster) and i think it will work (if they avoid other scandals). They have a pretty clean image, and when you play the game of selling only your best side (even when it's totally prefabricated) you need to avoid that type of scandals, or you could end in Justin's Bieber situation.
The album sold well, they had a very big hit with Story of my life (probably their biggest with WMYB), yes it would be better if they were able to have more hits, but as long as they avoid bad press they'll be fine. Or no, because sometimes boyband reach their expiration date from overnight

Wait, Liam's twitter disaster? Explain. Something about being homophobic. I don't remember exactly. not to re-open this can of worms, but for those who really don't recall, Liam tweeted one of the most notoriously homophobic Duck Dynasty stars that he really respected/appreciated his "family values". he later backtracked, but many fans were upset/offended by his endorsement of this DD guy.

In fact the remarks of Duck Dinasty guy were apart from homophobic, very racist and of course there's another speach when he claims is better to marry a 15 yo girl because they are easier to control (or something like that) than adult women.
The problem with Liam (i highly doubt he is homophobic at all, he is one of Tom Daley's best friends) is that he didn't take well criticism. If someone got angry at your twitt he better ask why and not going all self defense (or full attack in this case).
To be fair, i think their PR was very good in that case, it was a storm in a glass of water that faded as soon as Liam keep his fingers out of a keyboard.
Of course the phone video with Zayn and Lois is way worse, and there are tons of blind items telling that there are a lot more thing in the phone (of course that's probably full speculation like it happened with the Justin Bieber stolen phone). If they are smart what happened could be a reality check. They were very young on X factor, they got success very fast, and they are too much controlled, so that kind of things are bound to happen

It looks like this will be their first single not to crack the top 20 on pop.

It's all about seasons when releasing a song to radio. This is a good single but bad time of year for it. I don't understand how so many times in all genres that industry professionals keep making this same amateur mistake. Soft love songs are bigger hits in cooler months and fun faster songs are bigger hits in the warmer months! That is Radio 101 for God sake!

I think people get offended too easily, all he said was he respected his family values, which meant he respected the fact that he stayed on the show rather than leave. It didn't say he respected his opinion on gay people though, so people had NO right to get mad at Liam...

It didn't say he respected his opinion on gay people though, so people had NO right to get mad at Liam... That wasn't exactly the problem. Yes people get offended easily, but Liam did that tweet with the controversy still fresh, and when people remind him why they find his comment offensive he didn't react well. Celebrities need to understand that post a comment on internet is not like talking to your friends in a bar. You should be careful of what you say, and tweet your praises for a man who was all over the press for his racist (people seem to forget that the man said that afroamericans were way happier under Jim Crow law) and homophobic comments is not a good idea. If their PR controlled their tweets as much as they control their relationships that would never happened

Recurrentitus is huring this as well. Wow, talk about a term that sounds dated. Come on guys, Liam's tweet or "recurrentitis" have nothing to do with this poor performance. The song just sucks. Worst choice on the whole album. Plain and simple.

This is one of their best singles, imo. Just not good for the time of year, and that awful radio remix did not help things at all.

This is a good song, but this was the wrong time for it. They should have released something that says 'summer', not something that is pretty much "Story of My Life" part two. It definitely should not have followed it too. I wouldn't mind this during the fall or winter though. I still like it and it's one of my favorites from them, but just wrong timing.

I think the reason this ""flopped"" is that there's no hype 6 months after album release. That's reflected in sales; note that it hasn't gone higher than #79 on iTunes while a single, and sold similarly lowly in other countries with the exception of EP release week. No hype seems normal for any well-known act to me, especially a fanbase-heavy one, it's only less visible in the US because airplay is in the main chart and more closely tracked on forums like this than sales. It might've performed a bit better if they put effort into a big video (I don't recall hearing anything about the videos for this or Midnight Memories) but really the way to counter it would be to release more pre-album singles. That would probably confuse anyone not from the UK, so post-album struggles it is.
(I've personally always preferred this to Story of My Life.)
