I thought this deserved a posting. Before I left for dinner tonight I heard both "Go Rest High On That Mountain" and "How Can I Help You Say Goodbye" on 98.1 KVET in Austin. Yes and yes!

I was in amazement when I heard "Tonight" by Sara Evans this afternoon on Y2Kountry. A single that peaked at #38 on R&R and #41 on Billboard in early 2005.

I heard "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" by Miranda Lambert on Y2Kountry today. :)
A couple other non-top 10 songs I've heard the past week include:
"God's Will" - Martina McBride "You Can't Hide Redneck" - Tracy Lawrence "Two Pink Lines" - Eric Church "Like Red On A Rose" - Alan Jackson "Another Side Of You" - Joe Nichols

Barely 10 Songs an hour and crammed full with non-funny chatter. No wonder, I do not listen to radio (anymore). Most pleasant suprise is Tim McGraw with "My Old Friend"; a track that I used to listen to relentlessly when issued

Subtract about 6 of those songs per hour, and you have WKJC in the mornings. Add two back and you have them the rest of the day.

I heard "Life In A Northern Town", "How Long", and "You Can't Hide Redneck" on Y2Kountry today.
This isn't the first time I've heard "You Can't Hide Redneck" either. They've played it a couple of times while I've been listening. Weird.

Another song that didn't go top 10 I heard on Y2Kountry this afternoon on my way to school was "Beer Run" by George Jones and Garth Brooks. I have not heard that song on any radio station in over a decade.

They also played "Trailer Hitch" 30 times last week. Cool to see that.

I was on my way to a store so i wasn't paying much attention. I think his name was Eric or something, it wasn't Wendy though
