I'm so sick and tired of Taylor's "I'm so innocent and sweet" shit. Bitch please, at least own up to it like Christina aguilera did during the lotus era. I can deal with bitchiness, but hypocrisy... Even though I still enjoy her music, I'm starting to feel turned off by her seemingly fake personality, I don't know, she just doesn't feel genuine anymore.

How stupid. She definitely has her bitchy/passive aggressive/petty moments but absolutely no more so than every single other pop star. If she was actually a bitch, it would have come out by now after close to decade in the business, just like it came out early for Christina and is coming out now for Ariana. Instead people have been generally singing her praises.
Bitchy moments does not a bitch make, otherwise I don't even know what people would consider Madonna/Mariah/Whitney/Janet with all the things they said earlier in their careers.

Taylor came across as pretty genuine and unguarded in her RS interview. Nothing in what she said comes across as something a normal person couldn't relate to.

Yeah, I actually don't think she is a bitch either. Conniving, shrewd, manipulative, media-savvy, competitive? All of the above but bitch, nah.

There are rumors in Twitter that she's already taping her second music video.. I believe it since.. SIO's video was filmed in June People may be getting confused because she tweeted this: “@edsheeran: Intense day preparing for the next music video, it's gonna be a special one” No one's ready for what you have up your sleeve.

Yup, she is definitely starting s**t and I wish she wouldn't, but I guess she knows controversy can help start off her first official "pop" era with a bang. I'm too old to be supporting this sort of behavior, but she's smart enough to know what she's doing so good for her I guess. If she's going to go this route, at least try and end Katy once and for all. For the love of the world. I just saw this story on Yahoo today, and the truth will likely come out as to what happened; however, as many have already stated, Taylor is simply using this "story" as a marketing tool to drum up hype and sales for her upcoming record. In fact, I would not be surprised if 'Blood' is her next single if it has not yet been announced. Do y'all really see this as a possible move to "end" Katy from a competitive standpoint, such as CammyCan wishes, lol ? I do recognize that Taylor is only 24, has a huge fanbase, as she formally enters the Pop world; whereas, Katy is pushing 30, a mature age for a female in pop music without a standout trait (vocals, dancing, songwriting). While I have no horse in this race and do not care for either artist's vocals or music, I do respect Taylor's songwriting, producing, and imaginative talents, since few mainstream artists are capable of consistent success in BOTH of these arenas and the commercial ones.

She has such a small part in that song. I have never heard her do it solo.

Taylor Swift Reveals Five Things to Expect on '1989"With this record, I thought, ‘There are no rules to this'": a sneak peek inside her anticipated fifth LP By Josh Eells | September 16, 2014 Taylor Swift's fifth LP, 1989, was influenced by some of the 24-year-old star's beloved acts from the Eighties, from Phil Collins to Annie Lennox to Madonna. This time, she set out to make "blatant pop music," she tells us in our new cover story. Here's five more things she told us to expect on her studio record, out October 27th: 1. A New York state of mind The leadoff track on 1989 tries to capture the excitement of someone who just moved to New York, as Swift did earlier this year. "I was so intimidated by this city for so long," she says. "It's so big, with so many people. I thought I would never be able to make it here, because I wasn't something enough — bold enough, brave enough to take on this huge city in all of its blaring honesty. And then at a certain point I just thought, 'I'm ready.'" 2. Lots of Max Martin The Swedish pop giant, with help from his protege Shellback, produced almost half the songs on 1989, and is also, along with Swift, the executive producer of the album as a whole. Swift has worked with him before, on 2012's Red, but he plays a much bigger role this time around. "I used to talk about Max Martin like he was this sorcerer who lived in a castle on a hill," says Swift. "And then one time Scott [Borchetta, the head of her label] said to me, ‘You know...you can work with him if you want to.' I was like, What?!" 3. A Fine Young Cannibals vibe Swift's pal Jack Antonoff, who co-wrote and co-produced two songs on her album, says he and Swift shared a serious bonding moment over the Eighties pop group that had their biggest hit in 1989. "The moment when we shifted from friendship into working together was when we were talking about the snare drum on Fine Young Cannibals' ‘She Drives Me Crazy,'" Antonoff says. "Taylor brought it up first, and I was like, 'Holy shit, you're not going to believe this: I just sampled that snare in a track.' I played her one second of it on my iPhone, and she was like, ‘Send me that track.' That became a song called ‘I Wish You Would.'" "I really think 'She Drives Me Crazy' could be on the radio now," says Swift. "It's that timeless." t 4. Some classic T-Swift journaling One song was taken straight from the pages of Swift's journal, and another, "Out of the Woods," sounds like it could have been. "The thing I love about that song," says Antonoff, who co-wrote it, "is parts of it reads like a diary, and parts of it read like something 100,000 people should be screaming all together. It's got these very big lines that everybody can relate to, which are given weight by her being really honest about personal things." 5. A spirit of discovery Maybe the biggest influence that 1989 had on 1989 was what Swift, who was born that year, describes as a feeling of freedom. "It was a very experimental time in pop music," she says. "People realized songs didn't have to be this standard drums-guitar-bass-whatever. We can make a song with synths and a drum pad. We can do group vocals the entire song. We can do so many different things. And I think what you saw happening with music was also happening in our culture, where people were just wearing whatever crazy colors they wanted to, because why not? There just seemed to be this energy about endless opportunities, endless possibilities, endless ways you could live your life. And so with this record, I thought, 'There are no rules to this. I don't need to use the same musicians I've used, or the same band, or the same producers, or the same formula. I can make whatever record I want.'" Taylor opens the Iheart radio show Las Vegas tonight. It's less than half an hour from now (10 pm EstTime) And she is singing a remix of love story, with a new song (the remix is real, not so sure about the new song)
Also you can see it, via stream on yahoo! Live.. The same way that we saw Taylor's live stream

It was seriously like she kicked into another gear for Shake It Off...she seriously sounded amazing and got so into it.
That said, it is kind of becoming apparent to me that everytime she releases a new CD, she begins to hate/care less about the singles that got her to where she is (Love Story aside). Each tour has less and less catalog hits, and tonight I felt like she only really cared about singing Shake It Off and Trouble. Never noticed her go through the motions like that before, and her tours are always must sees, obviously. I guess I always hope for a few more hits in each show.
I don't know, just me maybe.
I disliked her outfit immensely.

I disliked her outfit immensely. That is pretty much every artist. The "hits" that got her to where she is she still played on her last tour ("Love Story," "You Belong With Me"). Every artist "forgets" hits when you have 5-10 years of hit after hit. Shows are only so long and if you want your show to stay fresh, you can't play the same set list every new tour. You have to add new songs and the downside of that is some of the older ones have to be replaced. Her outfit reminded me of Shania at the CMA's in '99 when she won entertainer of the year.

It should be no surprise that she would sing mainly her pop hits tonight. My throughts on tonight's performances-Really amazing performances. This has to be best "Shake It Off" performance of the era so far even better than the MTV VMA. Love Story remix was great. This is something they should record and send to Itunes.
