Style was shot over 7months ago, wonder how many MVs she had shot for this era that we don't even know yet

Why does 22 have more views than IKYWT? One Direction fans are obsessed with that video because they think everything made in the video is for Harry or for laughing at him

The Vogue shoot is actually gorgeous. The cover is hideous but the shoot is absolutely beautiful. That's actually what I wanted/hoped the Style video would look like.

Why does 22 have more views than IKYWT? Because even though IKYWT is the better song , 22 has the best vídeo.

Sounds like no performance on SNL tonight, just a skit.

She was adorable in her sketch -- unsurprisingly.

She was adorable in her sketch -- unsurprisingly. Eh, she kind of stunk. She didn't really know how to do the accent, her timing was off and she was definitely the weakest link of that group. Granted, The Californians has always been a terrible and terribly unfunny sketch (I have no idea how it made this show), but she certainly didn't bring anything great to the table. If she was only going to do a brief comedy cameo, I would have rather she replaced Miley in the opening monologue (especially since Miley also had a performance). This sketch wasn't the right showcase for her.

Taylor's Target Bonus Track "Wonderland" is on Itunes US today. Future Single??? Per her Twitter, they're all coming to iTunes in the near future. Assuming they'll probably test the reaction and use one as a future (fifth or sixth) single.

She needs to make "New Romantics" the Style followup then.

Taylor Swift’s ‘1989’ bonus tracks coming to iTunesTaylor Swift announced last night that she is making the bonus tracks from her insanely popular newest album ‘1989’ available on iTunes. This morning, Swift released the first bonus track, “Wonderland” on iTunes, with two more still to come. “You Are In Love” is the next bonus track on the album and was produced by Jack Antonoff of Bleachers and ‘fun.’ fame. The third bonus single still to come is entitled “New Romantics.” Previously, these three tracks had been available on a Target-exclusive deluxe edition of 1989 and in select countries outside of the United States. Swift’s announcement last night makes iTunes the first digital storefront on which the three bonus tracks are available. Since its acquisition of Beats, Apple has had somewhat of a renewed focus on the music industry and Taylor Swift’s impromptu release further highlights that focus for Apple. Coldplay, which also had an exclusive deluxe edition of ‘Ghost Stories’ available through Target, has yet to release the bonus tracks onto iTunes or any other digital storefront in the United States. Taylor Swift’s move again highlights her willingness to cooperate with Apple and Beats Music. Taylor Swift infamously removed all of her content from Spotify following the release of ‘1989,’ arguing for fair compensation for artists from streaming music services. Swift, however, kept all of her music on the Apple-owned Beats streaming service. Taylor Swift’s first ‘1989’ bonus track “Wonderland” is available on iTunes now. 9to5mac.com/2015/02/17/taylor-swift-itunes-1989-bonus/

Unless I'm mistaken, she kept her music on most services that are premium-only (such as Google Play) and not just Apple Beats. She removed the catalog from services like Spotify that also offer a free option.

That's awesome that "Wonderland" and "New Romantics" could potentially be singles then. She should go for something a little different next but "New Romantics" would be an incredible single #5.

And her Californian accent was terrible on the SNL special, you couldn't understand a word she was saying... would've preferred a performance.

What is Taylor's 1989 total with the 90k projection for this week?

Around 4,362,000 is what I'm coming up with, but that's an estimate. It's hard to get actual sales with the new chart how it is.

Smart to release the songs to iTunes. Wonderland/New Romantics are some of her best Pop-era songs.

Billboard says she has sold 696,000 thus far in 2015. She was at about 604,000 going into the most recent sales frame, so that means she did another ~92K this past week.
That should bring her to about 4.357 million.

Crazy that at this rate, if she continues to sell 80-90k a week, she'll be close if not at 5M in just a couple of months.
Unreal.

Nice way of her to subtly remind people that she's an actual musician. I love when she plays guitar.

I mean let's also be real - playing the guitar also conveniently distracts from her vocals at times, too.

I think adding 1 or 2 singles as bonus tracks should be a new marketing tactic
True fans will buy the album to get the album-only tracks. Having the label make the songs available for digital purchase, like Nicki Minaj did with Truffle Butter, would allow the song to have a much higher debut.

If 4th, 5th, and 6th Single managed to become a solid hit, I don't have any doubt that 1989 will reach 6 million when all is said and done. Probably around 10 million worldwide too.
I think if New Romantics really become a single, then it's better be a summer single. It's the most perfect summer anthem that she has ever make.
After seeing the whole new possibility, this will be the perfect single chronology.
1. Shake It Off (Fall) 2. Blank Space (Winter) 3. Style (Spring) 4. New Romantics (Summer) 5. Out Of The Woods (Fall) 6. Wildest Dreams (Winter)
If this happen, then BOOM! it will be a perfect era.
