Anyone betting Wildest Dreams will be the fourth #1 off of 1989?

Anyone betting Wildest Dreams will be the fourth #1 off of 1989? It doesn't sound like a fifth single #1 to me. Plus, there's going to be tons of big name new releases over the next two months. But who knows if they have amy tricks up their sleeve. If not, it should still be an easy top 10/top 5 on the Hot 100.

Anyone betting Wildest Dreams will be the fourth #1 off of 1989? Can't make that call until the video comes out. Style tells us that sales will be too bottlenecked at this point. Too many people own the song and/or album for it to regularly sell 250-300K per week. But if she has a hot video + Apple Music streams, she'll gain the streaming points that Style couldn't generate. With solid sales and heavy airplay, that could be enough for #1.

My only concern is, how are they going to make a video that will top Style's video (with Wildest Dreams as the audio)? That video was perfect for Wildest Dreams. Maybe this time they'll make a video that will suit Style and I can just switch the audio on each for my own preference. ;)

Looking at it now, do we see Taylor releasing a single that wasn't produced by Max Martin off of 1989?
ETA: Didn't know he worked on OOTW too I thought it was mainly Jack Antonoff.

He helped taylor with the vocals on every song on 1989, it's the "vocal producer", but i mean, he didn't put his hands on OOTW, IWYW, YAIL, IKP, WTNY, Clean

I don't see "Wildest Dreams" doing well on radio for the long-run like her other tracks. But I'll remain optimistic and wait to see what happens with the track. She's definitely been pumping out the singles with this one.

One of my favorites on the album, hopefully there is a good video in the wings. I'm thinking more than anything, her label wants the album to last long enough to get some solid holiday sales (which will lead nicely into Grammy sales).

Taylor said somewhere that there will be more singles after WD, and all of them will have a proper video (since she'll pay them)

I'd like the Wildest Dreams mv to involve Taylor/her lover in an accident and either one/both hospitalized. The beginning of the song could be trying to revive Tay/her lover and then the end could be a funeral.
Ideally, I'd want Out of the Woods as the next single so they could use flashbacks of the WD video for the 20 stitches in the hospital room bridge.

I really don't see much else for the video IF they want the video to be cinematic even if the song is romantic more than sad.

This song is knowing a relationship won't last going into it and being okay with that. And hoping that when it does inevitably end, that the person remembers you. Having the memories be because the person died does not tie into the song at all.

Absolutely no in-between is possible.

I want Joseph Kahn again to slay the WD video. Taylor better not f**k this like Style ;_; #Justice4Style As I've surmised knowing the timeline now, Taylor really pulled back during Style because the timing coincided with her mother's diagnosis because Style should've had a bigger push. WD is not one of my favs but it will take a killer video and a significant remix (to capture additional sales and airplay) to get it to Top 5. Knowing she is so hot right now, I can't imagine she won't be pulling all stops to get to 5 #1s.

Given the plethora of information out there detailing Jake Gyllenhaal and Austin Nichols' relationship (which is probably around the decade mark by now), I could never take any of Taylor's songs about Jake seriously and just chalked it up to her strong skills as a songwriter and ability to convincingly portray emotion but Sad Beautiful Tragic really makes me believe that she actually believed in their relationship. The lyrics to that song are so telling. I feel like, outside of Out Of The Woods and a few others that elude me at the moment, this is the most honest she has been on record. I kinda slept on the song when I first got Red with all of the stunners on there but what a great song.

I love Sad Beautiful Tragic. I think 'All Too Well' is probably her most honest/specific on 'Red' though.
