And that bullet huge as well! Hopefully it's just the stations that have recently added it, and no others jump on board afterwards. I see it stalling in early 30's.
Didn't "Lay Me Down" get to the Top 40 on Active as well?

Didn't "Lay Me Down" get to the Top 40 on Active as well? Mid-week, I think. It didn't chart on Billboard Active, so for all intents and purposes, this is their biggest hit on Active so far.

I don't think it'll get that much higher, and will probably peak somewhere between 28-35. I would imagine this is being played in markets with no alternative stations. I don't get the appeal of this band. I've never liked anything from them, and I consider "Lay Me Down" to be one of the worst alternative #1s of all time. And to think, it was #1 for what? 13 weeks?

Well jeez, if this is charting on Active then it can't be very alien for a song like "Rude" to chart as well.

Oh hell no, in fact CHR or Hot AC to active crossovers used to be more common than CHR or Hot AC to alternative. I know there are alot more than just these, but off the top of my head I can think of: Train - "Calling All Angels" Nickelback - "If Everyone Cared" Bon Jovi - "Have A Nice Day" 3 Doors Down Ft. Bob Seger - "Landing In London (All I Think About Is You)" Collective Soul - "Better Now"

There are some decent sounding songs on the album. I guess they only chose this since it had to do with summer despite how unimpressive it sounds. After listening to it, I felt like relaxing at the beach and then getting in the middle of a gang fight on the way home in a ghetto neighborhood :)

Eh, I'll take this over songs like "Riptide", "Tennis Court" and "Take it or Leave it".

Even at the time I thought they were too wimpy for rock radio...

Even at the time I thought they were too wimpy for rock radio... I'm not sure if I'm part of the "current generation". And I've never heard "Free", their biggest rock hit. I knew "Drops" did something, but #11? Damn, I thought like the 30-s. Hell, The Fray charted in the low 30s.

You see, I grew up as a kid with "Hey Soul Sister", so there's no fucking way I'll think old Train is rock in the slightest way. Meanwhile, I was raised with "3AM", "Push", "Bent" | "We Are the Normal", "Slide", "Iris" and "Name" so I'll always see them as alt-rock artists prior to the 21st century, even though I was born right on the year of the turning point.
