Demi is now behind Onerepublic at #12 by over 1,000 spins. I hope she can catch up to them fairly fast.

Down to 43 on the Hot 100 this week, has it peaked there?

It's been charting for three weeks. Calm down.
It's the week after the video release and the aftermath of the iTunes discount being over, so a 6 spot drop isn't too bad.

it will probobly bounce up and down like Neon Lights did. Billboard loves to do Demi that way. maybe they are saving her high jump in the top 10 for her B-day month of August? The good news is that media base radio airplay charts has her in the top 20 and climbing. Honestly I Really Don't Care how high she gets on that Billboard chart I love the song and that's all that matters..

The good news is that media base radio airplay charts has her in the top 20 and climbing. Honestly I Really Don't Care how high she gets on that Billboard chart I love the song and that's all that matters.. You literally have 0 idea as to how charts work. Billboard doesn't decide a song's chart run. They just report it. The Hot 100 is based off a formula using digital downloads, physical single sales, streaming data, and airplay data from all formats for the week. Mediabase monitors airplay only. "Really Don't Care" is in the top 20 on Mediabase's Top 40 format chart only, not overall. The charts you are seeing here are refering to top 40 format (commonly referred to as pop) stations only. So, this means that "Really Don't Care" is the 43rd most popular song in the country when accounting for its digital sales (where it is the 37th most downloaded song of the week, falling from being the 25th last week), physical single sales (where it is not on the chart because it has no physical release like most songs today), streaming data (where it is the 35th most streamed song of the week, up from the 36th last week), and airplay from all formats, NOT JUST POP (where it is not charting, though is really close to debuting). "Really Don't Care" is currently the 13th most played song on pop radio stations only right now. This is what music charts mean. They are not meant to reflect personal preference of anyone, but rather, they are meant to represent the success of a song for the current week.

@au$tin. mmmm...I'm kinda thru trying to get through. I still refuse to belive that the most of America actually choose these 100 songs over 100s of better songs out there that never really get a chance to reach the public, unless it's through youtube. Anyway,If I start to belive what u say , then I will ultimately lose faith in music. I'd have to travel all over USA to actually see if people are really into those; so called Hot 100 as heavy as that chart makes it seem. This way I only lose faith in Billboard hot 100; wich is aweful. I live near San Diego,Ca. the styles over here is more like what Mediabase weekly POP CHR shows, so I'm sticking to that one. We also have 91x: an up to the moment alt rock radio station: which is what I really like anyway. Listen, I'm not trying to convert anone to my beliefs, that BB Hot 100 is a tainted chart. You see comments like that on youtube and evrywhere else, so I'm not the only one. I just like to pass the word around. Its just another way of looking at things. No harm, no foul.

You may not necessarily think that those 100 songs are the "biggest songs in America", but if they aren't... then what are?
I understand you don't like the Hot 100, but that's an opinion... this chart is as close as we can get to finding out the most popular songs of the week across America, and I have to say... they're pretty accurate 95% of the time...

Agreed. I feel like YouTube videos should only count if A) it's a music video B) the focus of the video is on the music... anything else will need to be decided by a special panel or something!

I find it highly suspicious that her sales or streaming never really match her airplay...

I find it highly suspicious that her sales or streaming never really match her airplay... In what way? I would attribute it to the fact that she has a really large and passionate fanbase (and thus likely drives tons of requests to radio stations) and has songs that are very light, fun and appealing to radio programmers - but doesn't quite have stuff that clicks with casual music fans.
