I don't understand how this is still at #9. You would think the people spinning the damn song would have gotten tired of it by now, too.

I say the same thing every time I accidentally flip to our rock station and hear the same Aerosmith, AC/DC, kiss songs they've been playing since forever.

I actually don't hear a lot of Aerosmith and KISS on Active anymore, they seem to have moved on to Classic Rock.
Thankfully Modern Rock 98.7 rarely spins this anymore in favor of playing "Business of Emotion" and "If You Wanna Stay" a bunch. Why couldn't the entire panel just be like that station?

I swear Q104 in Halifax has had the same playlist since 2005, with just a few currents thrown in there. I guess it qualifies as a Rock station and not a Classic Rock/Rock hybrid.

Lost another 39 spins. If this continues to lose spins, this MAY go recurrent next week. OMAM and 21p have also had their bullets increased.

Like it or not, this will probably go recurrent on Sunday night. This lost another 54 spins and if it continues to lose spins, Saint Motel and maybe twenty one pilots will overtake it.

I wish it looked more like this to ensure me a sure recurrent status.

Good run though...I was one of the seemingly few here who wasn't annoyed by this song's run.

Lol this is bleeding fast. -71 today. I wonder why it took so long for them to drop it this fast randomly. It had an impressive run though. I did very much like this song at one point but I grew to hate it after it became far too overplayed.

Good run though...I was one of the seemingly few here who wasn't annoyed by this song's run. You have the patience of a saint, sir. :) I got kind of annoyed, but I got desensitized to continually seeing at #9-10 for like 5+ weeks. Also, it made "Flashed Junk Mind" flop, so I didn't mind THAT much.

True story: First Time I heard this song was on some pop compilation cd my cousin played in his truck. Some super bad EDM remix of the song. I didn't even realize it was the same song charting on Alt at that time. The way a song is presented to me the first time has alot to do with me liking it or not. ..and we all know what rout I took for this song? Anyway, I'm glad this is off the charts for good.

And four weeks later instead of being sent recurrent on Billboard, it suddenly gets a BS +100 spins update, and spends another 13 more weeks after that, beating Rise Against's 65-week record.

This had a great run! I'm not sad it's over because it did so well. It'll be an Alt classic for years to come.

While I'm not the biggest fan of this song (I was obsessed with this during my exam period in October/November last year, not so much now), there's no denying that this had a great run. That goes for all the 52-weekers too, + Savior, Do I Wanna Know? and 1901.

Not a "BS" update...Sundays heavily favour established well-known songs...and with how many spins it lost Saturday I expected a hefty Sunday update despite it having gone recurrent. (Sunday update = Monday posting)

Thanks guys for whining about this song enough to actually make me listen to this and go "ahhhh, its this song"... I do like how the singer sound in the verses like he went to the dentist and got some kind of anaesthetic for his mouth

It'd be the first case of two songs by the same artist going recurrent at the same time (I think?)

Also, Daryl the Beryl, do you mind posting the other 16? I want to see how good/bad they are overall.

I'm not Daryl, but
65 Weeks - Rise Against - Savior 58 Weeks - Do I Wanna Know - Arctic Monkeys 57 Weeks - Phoenix - 1901 53 Weeks - Muse - Uprising 52 Weeks (all tied) - Thirty Seconds To Mars - The Kill Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Face Down Finger Eleven - Paralyzer Anberlin - Feel Good Drag Imagine Dragons - Radioactive Big Data ft. Joywave - Dangerous Bastille - Pompeii Atlas Genius - Trojans Capital Cities - Safe and Sound Fitz and the Tantrums - Out Of My League The Neighbourhood - Sweater Weather Neon Trees - Animal Milky Chance - Stolen Dance
guessing that a bunch fall off at 52 weeks because iirc the Recurrent rule shifts after a year so you have to stay in the Top 10 instead of the Top 15 to not go recurrent, though I might be wrong on that.
