What's the official peak on pop now? #2 or #3? It was #2 last week. I don't mean to be nitpicky, but does that mean an official peak at #2?

WOW. Maybe this can have the record for the second biggest bullet loss since "Heart Attack". I'm still waiting for another song to beat that record.

I'm sorry, but "Animals" is not killing this. Never before has a song ever dropped over 700 spins in one day when there wasn't a panel change/holiday involved. Sure, if a second single is climbing the charts quickly, it'll help the preceding single drop faster, but never this fast. Ever.
Though, with "Boom Clap" also seeing HUGE losses (-555 today), and "Chandelier"'s spin losses the past week, it seems to me as if this is starting to become a norm for radio. Five songs lost over 200 spins today: this, "Boom Clap," "Chandelier," "Stay with Me," and "Girls Chase Boys."

The other infamous example of a non-8th day/panel change/holiday abyss drop was that of Die Young but that was of course due to the shooting. I was actually expecting this type of falls to start occurring at some point. We have seen so many songs fly so fast on the charts but not this type of drops. That'd be more exciting to see :) especially for longevous songs (I don't like seeing them for chandelier tho >:( )
