I can't believe Robin, Nicole and Carmit would actually appear in the same room and talk to each other now.

I never understood the dynamics in PCD. Some of them seemed to like each other, but most of them seem to hate Nicole? I dunno...

I never understood the dynamics in PCD. Some of them seemed to like each other, but most of them seem to hate Nicole? I dunno... I have the same feeling. PCD is just so strange as a group, especially since it used to be THAT successful. According to Kimberly it was Nicole who first separated herself from the rest, in terms of having her own tour bus and everything. But now that I think about it, maybe that was a result of some kind of bullying against her by the other dolls.

In my mind the post-Carmit PCD will probably always be the most visually satisfying girl group one could ever come up with. This video perfectly captured the distinctive look of each one of them (despite Nicole is the only one singing). Too bad they didn't further this direction in their following releases.

It's not such a hard-knock life for Nicole Scherzinger.
The Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and TV star is set to tackle the role of Grace in NBC's upcoming Annie Live musical, EW can exclusively reveal. Grace serves as Daddy Warbucks' chief of staff and is instrumental in getting her boss to open his home and heart to the titular orphan.

Go Nicole! She must be extremely reliable/professional because she gets so many good gigs for someone who was in a successful girl band that only had 2 big eras. I liked some of her solo hits but her nickname here was Flopzinger for awhile.

Good for her tbh, she has done a tremendous job at maintaining her integrity as an entertainer, most of her peers with similar chart success can only dream to have the level of respect she gets in the industry.

I have a huge respect for her work ethic. She stays booked and busy. The industry is a tough one and people look down on you if you aren’t a “superstar.”

I think she has done better, stateside, as a "media personality" than in music. Which is odd since PCD had so many hits, but I'm glad she stays booked. She's my favorite judge on The Masked Singer (not like Robin and Jenny give her much competition)

Every time this thread gets bumped, I chuckle because I still cannot believe she named her second album “Big Fat Lie”. Lmfao girl.
Anyway I’m happy for her! She’s booked and blessed.

This is huge for her. For those that don't know, this is the equivalent of winning a Tony Award in the US.

I wonder if she’s recording new music?? I like a decent amount of her stuff. My favorite song by her is “Whatever You Like”. I thought it was going to smash! However I had a couple of friends point out how annoying the chorus is…. There were a few songs on “Big Fat Lie” that love as well. However it was after the fact because I don’t think that album was released in the US until streaming became a thing. I think “Electric Blue ft TI and First Time” could have done well from that project. I hope for new music soon from her. I’m not sure how well it will do because she’s a year younger than me… Unfortunate for her in the music industry.. lol

She’s one of the buzziest rising stars in the theatre world right now, I doubt she’s in a rush to release any sort of pop music soon. Her focus this year will be Sunset Blvd’s Broadway run, there might be a cast recording of that being released at some point. But album? Nah.

This is huge for her. For those that don't know, this is the equivalent of winning a Tony Award in the US. Wait this is fascinating to me. She seems too young for the role (I know she isn't that much younger than Swanson was at the time of the film, but things have changed in the past 75 years and Nicole looks young anyway). Do they make an effort to age her, or is there a different focus in this version?

She's been so underated and underappreciated for so long, love seeing her get her flowers. Stardom has passed her by so many times, but she never stopped hustling. Fingers crossed this smashes Broadway.

I do wonder if any more songs were recorded for the Pussycat doll reunion that Covid killed.
