Debuts at #35 on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart this week - to my knowledge this is the first song this year to do that without reaching top 40 on Mediabase since A Day To Remember's "End of Me" a couple of months ago. Yes, but "End of Me" eventually reached the Top 40 in Mediabase. I'm trying to think of one that never did.

Don't like it. very uncharasmativ vocals. I hope it doesn't become the next "Stolen Dance' or "Riptide"? I don't like that Alt Rock style

Because this joke is still very much called for.
George can learn a thing or two from these guys, who know how to make a good song and even state that they are better than he is

I don't mind this, I don't love it but it's not bad. Seems a little odd on Alt but not completely out of place. #1 on Triple A seems reasonable too, so unless this does something crazy like Top 10 Alt I don't think there's an issue.

I don't understand all the hate for this song. It sounds like something that would play at the end of an episode of Scrubs.

I don't understand all the hate for this song. His voice is all over the place, and that's not a good thing. Also, it sounds monotonous and repetitive.

His voice is all over the place in a monotonous song? He can't decide what note to sing it in.

His voice is all over the place in a monotonous song? He can't decide what note to sing it in. My thoughts exactly. His voice goes from high to low, and it doesn't sound well done. The sound of the song (instrumentals) is what I thought was monotonous.

Vocalists with ugly tones are somehow getting a lot of attention. Milky Chance, Passenger and now George Ezra. I hope this phase ends real soon.

I just think his voice is pretty cool, normally I don't like a song because of the vocals, but for this one I do

I think I'm the only one who neither loves nor hates this song. I guess I can see where both sides are coming from, but I'm somewhere in the middle.

This MIGHT be tolerable without him saying "ah di bi doe" however many times in this song. Thats still doubtful though.

I may be in the minority, but I don't mind this song.
Also, I just checked the lyrics of this song and it said "I'll give it all" instead of "ah di bi doe".

I realized what the lyrics were right away, but was surprised to find out he was from England, rather than a primarily non-English-speaking country.

hate to say I told you so, but I told you so. This is now in the Alternative Top 10. Taking up the spot that the Offspring should occupy?

Well, this is probably heading for a top 5 on Alt, at first I kinda disliked but now I find it catchy... I just took a look at the top 20 on AAA and man what up with AAA and Alt looking more and more similar by the minute? Is this the new trend?
