Idk man lol I just really got back into it that week and plus it was a slow week overall (you can tell by the points), and it should go back down below 10 the following week...I hope it can become the first non-poprock/alt song to spend a year on my chart!

"Cake By The Ocean" holds atop for a fifth week, tying "Stressed Out" for the longest reign this year so far. "Stressed Out" rebounds to #2, spending a 12th consecutive week in the top 5. Zara returns to top 5. Flo Rida rebounds. "Lean On" extends record to 43 weeks in top 10 and passes "Ni**as In Paris" for the 5th-longest run ever; is now 1 week away for tying "Get Lucky" for longest run among Dance/Electronic Songs. Justin Bieber, Avicii, Fifth Harmony and Fetty re-enter. Mr. Thonk EyesMTSChart21bornsurfyyuh yuhtrustypepperjarhysH.Daryl the BerylgodjannyawesomechartsCandleLitMikel Echarri

5 weeks for CBTO. I'm proud of it. I hope ITAPII becomes the next #1. It will have to make up the points gap though. Lol at #17-#20 being all re-entries.

For the first time in nearly two years, there is a tie for #1. ITAPII felt slightly ahead that week so it got the #1.
Mike Posner lands his first #1 on the chart as "I Took A Pill In Ibiza (SeeB Remix)" rises 3-1 in its 6th week on the chart. This song has really grown on me now. The Song tops the Dance/Electronic Songs chart for a 6th consecutive week. Could this be the start of a long run at #1? Or will DNCE reclaim the throne in the future? Or will someone else like Zara take over soon? Stay tuned...
DNCE fall 1-2 after spending 5 weeks at #1. But it may not be over just yet! "Cake By The Ocean" could still return to the top in the future...
Zara Larsson rises to a new peak of #3 with "Lush Life". Her other song with MNEK, "Never Forget You", debuts at #18 on the chart this week. This song ("Lush Life") could be threatening to dethrone "I Took A Pill In Ibiza soon"...it would become only the second song (after "Coming Of Age" by Foster The People, the very song that won the tie for #1 two years ago) to be #1 on this chart without having debuted on the Hot 100 (assuming it doesn't debut on the Hot 100 by then).
"Stressed Out" by twenty one pilots falls 2-4 but tops the Folk/Alternative Songs chart for a 14th consecutive week, passing Hozier's "Take Me To Church" for the 3rd-longest reign on the genre chart since 2013. This song has also spent 13 consecutive weeks in the top 5 on the overall chart. It is vying to become the year-end #1 song. I guess we will find out about 9 months from now... Their follow-up single(?) "Ride" debuts at #12 this week.
Flo Rida's "My House" returns to the top 5 (6-5) and once again dethrones "Me, Myself & I" (4-6 overall) on that chart to spend a 4th week atop.
G-Eazy's "Me, Myself & I" featuring Bebe Rexha falls 4-6. This is its first week on the chart outside of the top 5.
"7 Years" by Lukas Graham returns to its peak of #7 (ha!). This song has a good shot at entering the top 5 this coming week! Stay tuned...
Selena Gomez's "Hands To Myself" descends 7-8. Looks like it has peaked :( it's unfortunate that it gets the dreaded #6, especially when her two previous singles both reached the top 5.
Meghan Trainor's "NO" returns to the top ten with a 12-9 rebound. It peaked at #8 for two weeks. She had reached #1 with "All About That Bass" in fall 2014 and the top 5 with "Lips Are Movin'" in early 2015. Will NO still pass its current peak and potentially become Meghan's third top 5 hit here?
Major Lazer's "Lean On" slips 9-10, spending a record-extending 44th week in the top 10. It also tied Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" featuring Pharrell Williams as the 4th-longest running song in the top 20 overall, and the longest among Dance/Electronic Songs. All 3 of the songs ahead of it spent more than a year on the chart and are either pop-rock or alternative songs. Could "Lean On" become the first Dance/Electronic song to spend a year on the chart? It is only 4 weeks away... The song is also #3 YTD for 2016 (though it'll surely be passed by "Cake By The Ocean" next week)...it is vying to finish in the top 10 year-end for 2016, after being in the top 3 year-end for 2015 (find out where exactly it finished there here tomorrow...). If it makes it, it would be the first song to be in the year-end top 10 of two separate years...
Jonas Blue's "Fast Car (Radio Edit)" featuring Dakota re-enters the chart at a new peak of #11. I hope it doesn't end up peaking here...
Other than what was already mentioned, "Don't Let Me Down" by The Chainsmokers featuring Daya debuts at #19 this week. The Chainsmokers' other hit "Roses", which peaked at #2 for 2 weeks on this chart, falls 15-20 this week. Daya's other song "Hide Away" charted for one week at #14.
Last week's four re-entries all fall out of the chart this week.
for daily points you mean? yeah it's very similar to that, though it's very, very rare a song would get 50k in a day lol...I would REALLY have to be obsessed with the song that day (only one I recall is "Headlights" by Eminem and Nate Ruess almost two years ago getting 50k exactly, though the song only peaked at #4 on the weekly chart..."Uptown Funk" may have gotten there during those weeks that I was obsessed with it but I don't quite remember...UF did get over 270k in a week which is a record though! "Ghost" by Ella Henderson came pretty close IIRC, and CBTO had 45k per day for two days straight, and stayed above 40k the next day or two)
if I don't listen to a song in full in a given day, it probably won't get 10k points :( how much I listen to the song is a big factor too in addition to how much I enjoy it that day. So 10k isn't "Eh" for me roughly I guess it would be something like this:
0k: Nothing about this song affected my day 1k-5k: thought about the song a little to a pretty significant amount, maybe listened to a short clip once or twice 6k-10k: listened to a pretty significant portion of the song but apparently didn't care enough to listen in full, or listened in full and enjoyed it but not THAT much 11k-15k: listened in full and enjoyed it a fair bit or listened to a significant portion and enjoyed it a LOT but somehow didn't get around to listening in full 16k-20k: listened in full and liked a lot 21k-25k: listened in full and loved it, potentially listened a second time 26k-30k: one of my favorite songs that day, listened to it once or twice 31k-35k: loved the song so much, listened in full plus some of the clips more times 36k-40k: loved the song so much I had to play it more than once that day 41k-45k: was pretty obsessed with the song and played it a few times and thought of it all day 46k-50k: was utterly obsessed with the song 51k-55k: unless I'm mistaken about UF, this has yet to happen, but I would imagine I'd have to be playing it non-stop
