Yay Ride :). I'm rooting for Lush Life here, but I want to see ITAPII spend a while at #1 first.

Mark G.'s Top 20 - April 7th, 2016 Mike Posner spends a second week at #1 with "I Took A Pill In Ibiza (SeeB Remix)" with a 28% increase in points (total points for top 20 increased 14% from last week) to yield a 33% lead over the runner-up song after being virtually tied last week. The song tops the Dance/Electronic Songs chart for a 7th consecutive week. This song has spent its entire chart run so far on the overall chart in the top 10 (was really close to being top 5...). With the lead growing, is this song going to end up spending more than 5 weeks at #1? Or will this song be dethroned soon by a former #1 or a new song?
DNCE's "Cake By The Ocean" holds at #2, having spent 5 weeks at #1 and 8 consecutive weeks in the top 2. The song decreases by a mere 3.5% in points. Could this reclaim the throne in the future? The increasing lead that the #1 song has over it suggests otherwise, but if my chart has taught us anything it's that you never know what kind of bizarre thing will happen (think about how "Radioactive" reached #2 in its 14th week on the chart in August 2013 then randomly jumped to #1 4 and a half months later...).
twenty one pilots rebound to #3 with "Stressed Out" (their other song "Ride" meanwhile falls to #15 after having debuted at #12 last week, but that doesn't mean it won't be a top ten hit in the future...) with a 9.8% increase in points, having spent 5 consecutive weeks at #1 in January-February. This song tops the Folk/Alternative Songs chart for a 15th consecutive week and has spent 14 consecutive weeks in the top 5 now. If it keeps up this kind of longevity, it just might be able to take the #1 spot on the year-end chart. Although it still has yet to pass the points of "Hello", and will quite possibly have some competition from "Cake By The Ocean" and "I Took A Pill In Ibiza"...
Zara Larsson's "Lush Life" retreats to #4 from its #3 peak, decreasing by 7.7% in points from last week. It is interesting to note that this is its first week in an even-numbered position on the chart xD (though I was sure it would hold at #3 this week). I still hope this song becomes a big hit in North America so that it could have a similar run on my chart to "Rather Be" almost two years ago (see the first few pages of this thread).
Lukas Graham score their first top 5 as "7 Years" climbs 7-5 in its 7th week on the chart with a 61% increase in points from last week. I really do hope this makes #1 on the 4/30 Hot 100 chart and I'm glad it made the top five here.
G-Eazy's "Me, Myself & I" featuring Bebe Rexha holds at #6. This is the lowest position it has been on the chart so far. The song returns to the top of the Rap/Hip-Hop Songs chart for a 6th week.
Flo Rida's "My House" falls 5-7 and falls off the top of the Rap/Hip-Hop Songs chart after 4 non-consecutive weeks atop.
"Lean On" by Major Lazer and DJ Snake featuring MØ rebounds 10-8 and spends a 45th total week in the top 10. This song is just relentless.
Ariana Grande's "Dangerous Woman" re-enters the chart at #9, making the song her 7th top ten hit in the last 3 years. All of the previous 6 except "The Way" peaked in the top 5. Find out if "Dangerous Woman" does too next week...
Jonas Blue and Dakota also land their first top ten with "Fast Car", which climbs 11-10 in its third week on the chart. I hope this song does really well on my chart and on the Hot 100, though I'm not so sure it will...
ZAYN's "PILLOWTALK" finally enters the chart at #18. This song should've been a top ten hit here, but I didn't really get much into it :/ oh well...
"Middle" by DJ Snake and Bipolar Sunshine re-enters the chart at #20. Hopefully it goes a bit higher than this...

Mark G.'s Top 20 - April 14th, 2016 Mike Posner continues his reign for a third week with "I Took A Pill In Ibiza (SeeB Remix)". It increases in points by 1.4% from last week, but its lead over the runner-up songs shrinks to 27%. The song tops the Dance/Electronic Songs chart for an 8th consecutive week. With the lead now seemingly having begun to shrunk, will DNCE take the cake (excuse the pun) in a couple charts from now, or perhaps even on the next chart? Or will one of the newcomers "Panda" or "Don't Let Me Down" snatch the top spot before DNCE have the chance?
DNCE holds at #2 for a third consecutive week after having spent 5 weeks at #1. They are tied with "Stressed Out" by twenty one pilots (3-4 this week) for the longest reign this year, and are potentially threatening to pass it. The song increases by 6.1% in points, but still has a ways to go before passing "Hello" (13-17) or "Stressed Out" for 2016 year-end #1. The song has spent all 10 of its weeks on the chart in the top 10 (with the last 9 being in the top 2). I guess in a few months we'll see how big of a smash this will be. Will it be able to maintain its steam long enough and pull off the longevity to make year-end #1? Or will it completely collapse within the next few weeks and not even make the year-end top 5? Stay tuned...
Ariana Grande scores her sixth top 5 hit as "Dangerous Woman" jumps 9-3. It also becomes her third-highest peaking single ("Problem" and "Break Free" hit #1 in 2014). The song increases by 114% in points from last week. Another big hit in the making for Ariana? Or another flop like "Focus"?
"Stressed Out" by twenty one pilots slips one spot to #4 this week but with a 0.7% increase in points from last week. The song has now spent 15 consecutive weeks in the top 5 and is one of just 14 songs to do so in the 52 months that my chart has officially existed. The song tops Folk/Alternative Songs for a 16th consecutive week. This song is vying for #1 on the 2016 year-end chart and this longevity that it's having is definitely making a strong case in favor of that. But will their next single "Ride" prevent "Stressed Out" from further longevity? Or will "Ride" flop? Or will twenty one pilots will be this year's The Weeknd whose "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills" were almost simultaneously smashing on my chart last summer-to-fall?
Lukas Graham's "7 Years" holds at its #5 peak for a second week but with a 2.5% decrease in points. I'm a bit upset it didn't reach #1 on the Hot 100, but considering how big of a hit it is anyway, there's something to be happy about :). Has "7 Years" peaked yet (on this chart)? Or will it continue to climb and possibly take over at #1, something which it didn't do on the Hot 100?
This week's hot shot debut is viral dance meme sensation "Panda" by Desiigner, debuting at #6 - the highest debut of any song since "I Took A Pill In Ibiza (SeeB Remix)" in February. I don't know why this song is so addicting, but it is. That beat is straight fire. The song debuts atop Rap/Hip-Hop Songs. Is this going to become one of the most unexpected #1's ever in the history of my chart? I guess only time will tell.
"Don't Let Me Down" returns to the chart at a new peak of #8. This is The Chainsmokers' second top 10 hit. "Roses" reached #2 in January. Will this song become their first #1?
Another noteworthy movement is the 20-10 jump for "Middle" by DJ Snake and Bipolar Sunshine. This becomes the fourth top ten hit for DJ Snake following the #3-peaking "Turn Down For What", the #2-peaking "You Know You Like It" and the 14-week #1 "Lean On" alongside Major Lazer (8-12 this week); it was Bipolar Sunshine's first entry on the chart. Speaking of "Lean On", it becomes the fourth song to spend 50 or more weeks on the chart. It is two weeks away from hitting one year and nine weeks away from tying the record for the most ever weeks on the chart. It will be exciting to see whether or not it breaks that record...
Justin Bieber's "Love Yourself" and Rihanna's "Work" featuring Drake fall out of the chart from numbers 17 and 19, respectively. Either one could potentially still re-enter (wouldn't bank on "Work" re-entering because I'm sick of that song now, but I guess anything is still possible...). "Hotline Bling" is on the verge of dropping out next week too (it barely survived this week). Will "One Dance" replace it? If so, how high will it debut?

"Panda". Hopefully we will soon have a top 2 of Desiigner and Mike Posner, so then we could say that Mike Posner visited Desiigner's broads in Atlanta and offered him a pill from Ibiza.

And also, is your personal chart a "rolling" one like Austin's or it's just strictly the data from each seven-day period?

They turn into songs that lose a little bit in points but a lot in positions because of gainers jumping above it. Great example of this: Sorry, by Justin Bieber
