Since we are talking about the best song of the year on this board,I was thinking about having a thread where you can talk about the worst songs of the year.
Would you guys mind if I started a thread for that?

Would you guys mind if I started a thread for that? I was going to but I don't mind.... I supposed you are probably asking a mod though. While we're on the topic of boards, the Pulse Member Awards for this year is going on, and there is a Best Country Member of the Year Award... members can nominate members from the country forum here on the Pulse Music Board... here's the thread: pulsemusic.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=09pmas&action=display&thread=90465So many more people I could've nominated. :)

Would you guys mind if I started a thread for that? In December we'll have an end of the year thread. That would be the appropriate place for that discussion I would think. I don't recall if we usually rank the worst songs, but people usually rank their favorite albums and songs for the year, so I don't think there would be any problem with you ranking the worst.

I was looking around Facebook and found Sarah's publisher's page (Tom-Leis Music). No word on the album yet, but it seems to be updated regularly. At least it's updated more than Sarah's myspace page. It's worth taking a look. Thanks for that. I found their Myspace (myspace.com/tomleismusic), which has a couple of Sarah's songs on it. I really hope Lyric Street announces something soon. That's great news for Katrina Elam. Her debut album was really good, and it's too bad that she hasn't had much success. I hope this gets the attention of the right people, and maybe we'll get some more music from her. Anyone knows who's singing 'Writing Songs About You' on that myspace page?? It's really like a Swift song and voice.

Judd sour over Swift's CMA wins Country music veteran Wynonna Judd has hit out Country Music Association officials for naming Taylor Swift Entertainer of the Year, insisting it's "too much too soon" for the teenage star. The Love Story hitmaker, 19, made history at the CMA Awards on Wednesday night when she became the youngest person ever to win the prestigious accolade. Swift stole the Nashville, Tennessee show by taking home gold in every category she was nominated in, including Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for Fearless and Music Video of the Year for Love Story. But Judd, 45, is not convinced the singer fully deserves to win the award at such a young age - because she will have nothing to aim for in her career if she lands all the big prizes so early on in life. She tells USA Today newspaper, "You want my honest comment? It's too much too soon. Time is God's way of keeping everything from happening at once. It's just too much of a good thing too soon. "My thing is, being a home-school mom, I want kids to earn it, and I think some time... 'cause mom and I rode in a car for the first year of our career to visit radio stations. There was a making of the star, there was a rising up, and the fans went with us. "Now it's over coffee breaks, the success, almost. You have to play catch up... It's like the girl who wins an Oscar and she's under 20. What do you do from here?" jam.canoe.ca/Country/2009/11/12/11722971-wenn-story.html

'cause mom and I rode in a car for the first year of our career to visit radio stations. Umm...not taking sides here...but Taylor had to do that same exact thing! My honest comment to Wynonna? Her hair is too red...

Thanks so much, kevin59. Age has given more character and depth to an already incredible and distinctive voice in Radney Foster. I like the song and the video.

Lee Ann Womack will be joining George Strait and Reba on tour.
Should be a great tour. Sadly, I won't be in the states to go see it. I won't visit the states again until May so maybe they will extend it and I can catch it somewhere then.
