Well done. True Romance has stronger individual highlights for sure but I hear the cohesion in this. Really catchy as hell. Shame it probably won't even go gold but very well executed. Glad I bought it.

Ugh, I hate it when record labels don't release an explicit physical edition. When the opening song's chorus is based on "f**k you, sucker!" I think it's pretty necessary...
Digital only I guess :(

She swears elsewhere though, so I'm OK with it. Does kind of fly in the face of her whole "punk" thing tho.

Projected to debut with 24-27k.
True Romance peaked at #5 on Heatseekers and has sold 12k to date.

Digital only I guess :( I am so angry over this!!! Not only had I had the Amazon CD preordered for several months, I even picked up the Target edition too to get the bonus tracks, and BOTH are edited! One of the only CDs I actually want to buy and now I have two copies of edited nonsense. I'm not 10 years old, I want swear words dammit lol.

What's so stupid, is the only thing edited is the "f**k" in "Sucker." She says "sh*t" several times in that song and it's not bleeped. The sh*ts in "Hanging Around" aren't edited. The "bitch" in "Break The Rules" isn't touched. And the "f**king" in "Breaking Up" is still there as well. They basically bleeped the only cuss word on the album that actually truly detracts from the song, lol. So dumb.

The only song I can see becoming a hit is Doing It. I kind of wish Boom Clap was never heard of before the album was released so as I could get the goosebumps I got when I first heard it now rather than back then. I also enjoy Sucker, Famous, Caught In The Middle and Need Ur Love but I don't think radio would ever play them.
The edited chorus of Break The Rules is a mess. Since when is 'wrecked' an explicit word? And why the hell did they change the 'comin up until we die' line to 'roller coaster till we die'?

Boom Clap is so fresh. I think I may have heard it about 4 times in total before the album came out. One of her best songs for sure.

Debuts at No. 28 on the Billboard Top 200. I was actually expecting worse, so I'll take it.
I'm loving Doing It from the album, it's my favorite at the moment. Boom Clap is still a stunning song, I think it will end up a pop classic, it's so timeless.

There's a monster track on the UK/Europe edition that I hope they consider releasing as a worldwide single!
It's easily the most accessible/smash-worthy track on the album, albeit a bit generic.

Currently obsessed with Sucker (the song). Is there an uncensored studio version?

Currently obsessed with Sucker (the song). Is there an uncensored studio version? Not on any US physical copies. But you can get it on iTunes.

Album grew into an unexpected delight. It should be the soundtrack of NYE parties!

I kinda had a feeling it wouldn't do so well. They seem to have put a lot of money into this project overall I doubt they will see much of a return at this point. lots of US promo, all the main award shows, SNL, Late night shows, Daytime shows in an attempt to break her in the US market as an album seller. I wonder if they will give it as much of a push here in the UK as they did stateside and it will be interesting to see the results. Even though she is british I don't feel that she is any more successful over here than in the US.

This album is amazing. I HATED her when she released her debut, her sing-talk style turned me off and I was shocked when I found out she can actually sing. One of the most cohesive pop albums in recent memory, it's really incredible to see how much she's found her sound. Hope she becomes as huge as the industry is trying to hype her as.

Coming back to Fort Lauderdale on Sat June 13th. Can't wait to be closer to her! Missed her first show here in September, missed her set during the Jingle Ball in December (only got to see her do Fancy with Iggy) and now she'll be 10 minutes down the road from me!!

Last night I finally decided to listen to all of her songs pre-SuperLove and I was floored by many of them. You (Ha Ha Ha) and especially Cloud Aura are some of the catchiest things I've ever heard and they're unique-sounding songs. What a talent!

I think I am going to see her both at Governor's Ball and Firefly. I am still awaiting set times so I know what the conflicts are.
