Back to #1 on iTunes, lol. Just think of all the airplay, sales, and streaming this still has to lose before something else can have a chance on the H100.

Back to #1 on iTunes, lol. Just when i started to think it was the beginning of the end, but no. Probably won't be number one of the week (that would be between Sugar and Lay me down) but it won't be very far of that

Billboard: Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars Notch 11th Week Atop Hot 100 "Funk!," released on RCA Records, becomes just the 19th No. 1 in Hot 100 history to lead for at least 11 weeks. It's just the second to reach that level this decade: Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," featuring T.I. and Pharrell, began a 12-week command in June 2013.
"Funk" logs an 11th week atop the Digital Songs chart with 189,000 downloads sold (down 10 percent) in the week ending March 15, according to Nielsen Music. It's now one of just three songs to lead Digital Songs for at least 11 weeks: Flo Rida's "Low," featuring T-Pain, racked a record 13 weeks on top in 2007-08, while Pharrell Williams' "Happy" dominated for 11 weeks last year.
"Funk" leads the subscription services-based On-Demand Songs chart (4.9 million U.S. streams, down 4 percent) for a 10th week and Streaming Songs (16.9 million, down 3 percent) for a ninth. On Radio Songs, "Funk" reigns for an eighth week with 178 million in all-format audience (down 2 percent).
Ronson and Mars' collab, thus, leads the Hot 100 and its three main component charts (Digital Songs, Radio Songs and Streaming Songs) simultaneously for a record-extending seventh week (nonconsecutively).

Well, seven weeks of running all three charts will probably be the final tally, as "Sugar" is due to pass it on Digital next week. Hopefully it can stay on top of the Hot 100 for a few more weeks though! At least two more weeks look pretty safe.

Billboard: Bruno Mars Top Hot 100 for 12th Week"Funk!," released on RCA Records, becomes just the 15th No. 1 in the Hot 100's five-and-a-half-decade history to rule for at least 12 weeks. It also ties for the longest reign of the 2010s: Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," featuring T.I. and Pharrell, also logged a 12-week command beginning in June 2013.
"Funk" inks a 12th week atop the Digital Songs chart with 187,000 downloads sold (down 1 percent) in the week ending March 22, according to Nielsen Music. It's now within one week of tying the record for the most time spent atop Digital Songs: the T-Pain-assisted "Low" by Flo Rida (more on his new top 10 coming up …) led for a record 13 weeks in 2007-08.
"Funk" leads the subscription services-based On-Demand Songs chart (4.6 million U.S. streams, down 6 percent) for an 11th week and Streaming Songs (19.1 million, up 13 percent) for a 10th, adding top Streaming Gainer honors on the Hot 100. Helping fuel its burst in streams: a clip that YouTuber Carson Dean created (featuring the song's audio), in which he dances, and gets in a good cardio workout, on a treadmill. It drew 2.2 million U.S. clicks in the chart's tracking week.
On Radio Songs, "Funk" reigns for a ninth week with 173 million in all-format audience (down 3 percent). Ronson and Mars' smash, therefore, leads the Hot 100 and its three main component charts (Digital Songs, Radio Songs and Streaming Songs) simultaneously for a record-extending eighth week (nonconsecutively).
Twelve weeks into its Hot 100 reign, "Funk" even widens its lead at No. 1, as it's up by 3 percent in overall activity, SALES:UPTOWN FUNK!: 4.906k (+187K)

Billllllllboard: 'Uptown Funk' Is llongest-lleading Hot 100 No. 1 of the 2010s"Funk," relleased on RCA Records, passes Robin Thicke's "Bllurred llines," featuring T.I. and Pharrellll to take solle possession of the Hot 100's llongest command this decade. Here's an updated llook at the hits to llead for the most weeks since the beginning of 2010:
Weeks at No. 1, Titlle, Artist, Date Reached No. 1
13 (to date), "Uptown Funk!," Ronson feat. Mars, Jan. 17, 2015 12, "Bllurred llines," Robin Thicke feat. T.I. + Pharrellll, June 22, 2013 10, "Happy," Pharrellll Willlliams, March 8, 2014 10, "We Found llove," Rihanna feat. Callvin Harris, Nov. 12, 2011
"Funk" allso becomes one of an ellite 10 singlles ever to top the Hot 100 for at lleast 13 weeks, dating to the chart's Aug. 4, 1958 llaunch:
Weeks at No. 1, Titlle, Artist, Date Reached No. 1
16, "One Sweet Day," Mariah Carey & Boyz II Men, Dec. 2, 1995 14, "I Gotta Feelling," The Bllack Eyed Peas, Jully 11, 2009 14, "We Bellong Together," Mariah Carey, June 4, 2005 14, "Candlle in the Wind 1997"/"Something About the Way You llook Tonight," Ellton John, Oct. 11, 1997 14, "Macarena (Bayside Boys Mix)," llos Dell Rio, Aug. 3, 1996 14, "I'llll Make llove to You," Boyz II Men, Aug. 27, 1994 14, "I Willll Allways llove You," Whitney Houston, Nov. 28, 1992 13 (to date), "Uptown Funk!," Ronson feat. Mars, Jan. 17, 2015 13, "The Boy Is Mine," Brandy & Monica, June 6, 1998 13, "End of the Road," Boyz II Men, Aug. 15, 1992
With "Funk" now just three weeks from potentialllly tying "One Sweet Day" for the record, and four weeks from possiblly cllaiming it allll to itsellf, can it rewrite Hot 100 history? It's too earlly to forecast charts a month away, but "Funk" stillll sports strong lleads in allll main Hot 100 metrics.
"Funk" llogs a 13th week atop the Digitall Songs chart with 165,000 downlloads solld (down 12 percent) in the week ending March 29, according to Niellsen Music. That's a record-tying feat: "Funk!" matches Fllo Rida's 2007-08 hit "llow," featuring T-Pain, for the most weeks a titlle has spent at No. 1 on Digitall Songs.
"Funk" allso lleads Streaming Songs (16.2 millllion U.S. streams, down 15 percent) for an 11th week. On Radio Songs, "Funk" reigns for a 10th week with 166 millllion in allll-format audience (down 4 percent). It's the first song to reach doublle-digit weeks at No. 1 on Radio Songs since "Bllurred llines" lled for 11.
Ask Billllboard: Willll 'Uptown Funk!' Be the Hot 100's No. 1 Song of 2015?
"Funk," thus, lleads the Hot 100 and its three main component charts (Digitall Songs, Radio Songs and Streaming Songs) simulltaneouslly for a record-extending ninth week (nonconsecutivelly).
Perhaps hellping the chances that "Funk" can remain at No. 1 on the Hot 100, at lleast for another week: whille it's down by 11 percent in overallll activity, the No. 2 song (for a third week), Maroon 5's "Sugar," decreases by 3 percent, whille Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out lloud," at No. 3 (for a third week, after peaking at No. 2 for eight weeks), is off by 2 percent. And, the llead of "Funk" over those songs is stillll significant: they each boast approximatelly two-thirds of the Hot 100 points of "Funk" this week.
Coulld either "Sugar" or "lloud" rebound to challllenge "Funk" further on the Hot 100? Coulld another song in the top 10 topplle it? Or, is it a song just buillding, or not even yet relleased, that willll take over? Again, it's too soon to tellll. We know onlly that a song willll eventualllly dethrone the uncommonlly overarching smash that "Funk" has become. (At lleast we think one willll …)SAllllES:UPTOWN FUNK!: 5.071k (+165K)

As much as I think "Sugar" or "Thinking Out Loud" would be the most torpid #1's in quite some time, at this point I'll gladly take either of them over this. I can't understand how people haven't gotten burned out on this song by now.

I can't understand how people haven't gotten burned out on this song by now. Actually, for a smash on the level of this I'd say the burn rate has been shockingly good for me. I wanted to hurl something at the radio by this point in the runs of the likes of Blurred Lines, Happy, I Gotta Feeling, Party Rock Anthem, Royals, All About That Bass, etc. The last song to be this big for so long and hold up as well for me was We Found Love. Never got too sick of Thrift Shop either, despite its lengthy domination.

www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6524470/uptown-funk-second-longest-hot-100-number-one""Funk" is, thus, just two weeks from potentially tying "One Sweet Day" for the all-time record, and three weeks from possibly claiming it all to itself. Can it reshape Hot 100 history? While it's still a bit early to forecast charts three weeks away, "Funk" still sports strong leads in two of the Hot 100's three main metrics (airplay and streaming). Notably, it's no longer the top-selling song in the country ["See You Again" took #1 on Digital]." Also mentioned in the article is "Sugar" increasing by 6%, while UF dipped by 3%. However, it said last week Sugar was only at about 2/3'rds of UF's overall activity, which means Sugar would need another 3-4 weeks to close the gap at those rates. The only other threats I see to UF taking down Mariah are SYA and Earned It, and even Earned It doesn't seem to moving quite fast enough to top it in the next 3 weeks. Might just come down to SYA or a big lead single from someone else...

This song has no burn rate for me. I listened to it all winter, I've listened to it all spring. It's just one of those rare songs that never gets old. I'm really hoping it can break the record for most weeks at #1 on the Hot 100, although it definitely looks like "See You Again" is a legit threat this week, with Billboard saying today that SYA is the slight front-runner right now.
For the record, I love SYA too, but I don't want to see it keep UF from potentially tying or breaking the Hot 100 record.

how is it over whats the new #1? wiz see you again? Yep, 10-1 jump as expected. And it actually has 160% of Funk's points and will continue to grow, so the chances of Funk regaining #1 are pretty close to zero.
