According to Wikipedia Thrift Shop was the fifth single from The Heist, so no Teenage Dream?? Rihanna "Loud". Only Girl In The World and What's My Name both went #1. What chart are we talking about? What's My Name didn't hit #1 on CHR/POP Chart if this chart is Mediabase.

What a great start for this era. 2 #1s in a row. Taylor's songs dominating all over radio. I beileve the last album to get 2 #1's at the start wsa "Prism" and Katy messed that era up so bad with "Birthday" and that slow ballad song. As along as her team plays this right and releases the right singles,There will be no flops. "Blank Space" #1 on CHR/Pop radio by Christmas. Totally awesome. PRISM came a year after The Heist.

PRISM came a year after The Heist. What he's referring to is sending first two singles to number one, I believe. I know PRISM had two huge hits but they were not consecutive number ones. According to Wikipedia Thrift Shop was the fifth single from The Heist, so no Teenage Dream?? I know some tracks were released long before Thrift Shop happened but wasn't this song the first one ever received an official single treatment? Not to mention that this song literally launched the era.

Ok, Blank Space was #1 for the last 2 days in the UK iTunes Chart. Could she score her first #1 song there tomorrow?

Actually, it has climbed a spot to #4 according to the last update on Friday :) From BuzzJack Music Forum: 1 Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud (40.3k) ^ 2 Union J - You Got It All (36.8k) * 3 Take That - These Days (30.6k) 4 Taylor Swift - Blank Space (29.6k) ^ 5 Olly Murs feat. Travie McCoy - Wrapped Up (26.2k) However, it wasn't necessary for "I Knew You Were Trouble." to have streaming because the UK chart rules changed in August of this year.

I think her performance on Xfactor (next Sunday?) is her only chance of getting no1 in the UK (possibly ever) Without streaming it's gonna be really tough though - is streaming included in the mid-week numbers by the way?

It's going to generate some buzz since it's the season finale and it's going to help the song. However, I read that Ed Sheeran has some sheduled performances as well, so it's going to be tough as you said. Regarding your question about streaming, it is included, but you should take note that it usually tends to increase in the weekends.

It will be number one next week and the only threats in the horizon are Jealous, Love me harder and I'm not the only one. Jealous slowed down a bit in recent updates and probably will peak soon (in fact it seems Nick Jonas is preparing next single). Love me harder and I'm not the only one look like solid top 5 hits but not like number one (in fact Sam Smith's song didn't exploded yet, and it's doing worse at pop than in other formats). Even those songs started to skyrocket it would take a good while become a real threat.
And outside of the top 10 nothing is climbing fast enough to be a danger at least in the next month and a half

She'll probably debut Style at the Grammys, and hopefully that same week release the video too.
