Red had one more week of sales than 1989 will, also thanksgiving/Black Friday was one week earlier too BUT "1989" is expected to open with 100k + more than "Red"... That makes up at least some of the difference.

If Taylor breaks female record, waiting for the "But Taylor got an extra hour of sales because Daylight Savings Time ended...." :) Regardless of final total, great job by the team. Now we wait!

You know it's going to be close on HITS and then we'll have to wait for SS official.

That's a pretty strong early showing for Sam Hunt if he really only did the 60-65k they originally projected him at (not that we can project anything from HDD's random number early posts).

Nice to see this back on the chart even if it doesn't make it for the final update!
I hope we get some sort of update on all of her catalog sales this week.

It's at times like these where I wished the percentage had some sort of correlation with the numbers. So nerve-wracking!

If Taylor breaks female record, waiting for the "But Taylor got an extra hour of sales because Daylight Savings Time ended...." :) Regardless of final total, great job by the team. Now we wait! Didn't she also get 7 days while Britney had 6? That's Britney's fault. Now stop undermining her success.

This article is from July: www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6150379/ask-billboard-ed-sheeran-taylor-swifts-red-reigns?page=0%2C1TAYLOR SWIFT'S 'RED' REIGN@gthot20 Hey Gary, Taylor Swift's Red tour has become the highest grossing country tour of all time. On this occasion, can u update her sales? Soundnim Kansakar @sounddnim Hi Soundnim, Billboard Boxscore manager Bob Allen reported on July 3 that Swift has "smashed the all-time revenue record for a single tour by a country artist with the final stats reported from her Red tour. It played arenas and stadiums in four continents during a 15-month span. According to Billboard's Boxscore archives, the tour's overall gross of $150 million surpasses the prior country artist record held by the double-billed Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Soul2Soul tour that brought in $141 million during 2006 and 2007." Swift's Nielsen SoundScan sales aren't bad, either. Here's a look at her U.S. album sales and top 10-selling downloads to date: Album sales:6,840,000, "Fearless" (2008) 6xP 5,438,000, "Taylor Swift" (2007) 5xP 4,420,000, "Speak Now" (2010) 4xP 4,045,000, "Red" (2012) 4xP 1,004,000, "The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection" (EP) (2007) Gold 346,000, "Speak Now: World Tour Live CD + DVD" (2011) 316,000, "Beautiful Eyes" (EP) (2008) Swift's total U.S. album sales stand at 22.8 million. With her four studio sets having sold more than four million each, an incredibly impressive streak owed, in part, to her crossover appeal and social media savvy, she surely has a unique view of how artists can achieve, and maintain, success, as she covers in her new Wall Street Journal op-ed. Top song sales:5,717,000, "Love Story" 7xP 4,935,000, "I Knew You Were Trouble." 5xP 4,469,000, "You Belong With Me" 6xP 3,839,000, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" 5xP 3,208,000, "Our Song" 4xP 2,865,000, "Teardrops on My Guitar" 3xP 2,265,000, "Mean" 3xP 2,225,000, "Mine" 3xP 1,985,000, "22" 2xP 1,890,000, "White Horse" 2xP

She was only a few million from becoming the best selling artist of this millennium correct? I forgot where I saw the list, but I think only Linkin Park was above her.
