(I think every major city in the U. S. has an Alternative station now except for NYC) Not Miami/Fort Lauderdale

When one AAA-folk ballad leaves the top 10, another one enters. At least there's only two. A couple years ago we would have had like five.

So, my friends here who also really like this song ( Web, Daryl the Beryl, Devin, maine to name a few). Can we all agree that the second chorus is by far the most epic part, and really makes this song?

The bridge and on is the best. Still a great song. "Let It Go" is better imo, but both are f*cking great.

Yeah, which gets repeated at the end. Thanks for your help. I clearly didn't know/don't know music.

Let It Go has to be the second single. I don't think any other song would be as popular. The problem is, summer is the wrong season for it. It's a wintery ballad.

He's definitely above the material on his first album. Craving could be single #2 while Let It Go gets a fall release. Though I suppose they can afford to wait until September or October to push Let It Go anyway.

I didn't care too much for his album. It got sort of samesy and stale during the second half. I did like "Craving" from what I remember, but I don't know about any others. I'd probably end up liking whatever is released though.

This song isn't too bad. Still wondering why they never picked up that remix Cody posted a while back. I liked that one for a download.

The script are a corporate adult band that should stay away from alternative radio. James Bay is polluting the airwaves with his fake corporate music. He should try covering something from Pearl jam's catalog, maybe then alternative radio would be a better place.

When it comes to a AAA crossover; coming from me, that's a pretty big compliment.

BTW Dr. Indie - all this talk about why 91X is so different from almost every other Alt station, and I just noticed from the call letters that the station is physically inside Mexico - that's gotta make a difference - no clue what rock music is like in Mexico, but that probably has something to do with this lol
I can't imagine how boring it would be to listen to Hold Back The River or Sedona if you didn't understand the lyrics (it's boring enough even if you do understand the lyrics)

I kinda went into that in the "Sedona" thread. Alt Rock is more harder edge on that side of border. From what I gather and notice; musical preferences tend to remain the same. What others might view as Musical progression isn't important if nothing is wrong with the music to begin with....and yes 91x and Rock 105 ; because they frequency is most clearest, are two of the biggest rock/Alt influences within the Rocker crowd. So what 91x is playing is kinda what is expected to be heard on this side of the border. I got no complaints. and what I say about them not following corporate playlists; is actually their catchphrase. I'm not making it up and I only started using it heavily once they went indiependent, because I like it. ;)
