Madeon, whose real name is Hugo Pierre Leclercq, is a French house, electro house, nu-disco and pop producer, who is known for his tracks "Icarus", "Finale" and "The City", as well as working with Ellie Goulding and Lady Gaga. There are no further details about the release of Adventure, which he announced as the title of his upcoming debut album, besides the embed tweet below, which is expected to include the songs "Imperium" and "You're On", which features UK singer Kyan. Apparently, he has signed a deal with Sony Music Entertainment UK Ltd. (especifically with Columbia Records) since the release of "You're On" is handled by Sony, while the name of Columbia appears at the bottom of his official site, along popcultur, Madeon's own label.

Madeon wrote the following on his Facebook page: I just delivered my album to the label, feels like a big day. It's called Adventure. I'm hoping the name will make a lot of sense once you listen to it (it'll be released next year.)
Anyway thank you so much for being around over the past few years. 2015 should be fun! Nothing new, besides that seems the album is completed.
Also, he tweeted three pics from the music video of "You're On". And Alex Metric did a remix for the song above, which was premiered by Pete Tong. https%3A//soundcloud.com/madeon/youre-on-ft-kyan-alex-metric-remix

Madeon was early this morning on Alice Levine's BBC Radio 1 show and he revealed that his new single will be "Pay No Mind" and it features Passion Pit. AHHH!!! Also, the guitars on the song will be played by Sam Halliday from Two Door Cinema Club. Moreover, Adventure will have a collaboration with Dan Smith from Bastille, along more and it will come out this Spring.
By the way, Madeon called his album as: "A greatest hits of all my favourite artists".

Announcement: By the way, I guess we should add another collaborator on the album: Charli XCX. From Popjustice: Also, Madeon said the following about the album: "With Adventure, I wanted to capture the feeling and sensibility of my teenage years. I wanted the album to start very vibrant and pop and end with a more contemplative tone. In making the record I both collaborated in the studio with some of my favourite musicians, and wrote and performed vocals on songs myself, two things I hadn’t really done before with my own music."

Madeon was interviewed by Thump, where he talks about some personal details and discusses his album, being the concept one of them: "It worked on two axes. I was thinking about why making an album was important and I reasoned that it was a perfect encapsulation of a period in time. Taste and sensibility come in and out of view. Albums let you compartmentalize them and the person you were then lives forever in an album. I'm changing as a musician and I want to move on different things so I wanted to crystalize who I was for a while. The second was a bit more conceptual. I had a visual image in my head of an exciting, social feeling and I wanted that kind of party feeling reflected in the music before reaching a kind of solitary wandering in a desert, which is also reflected in music. It's like being at a party with friends and then you come home and everything's quiet and that contrast is really powerful." You can read the full article in the link of the embed tweet above or here.

A new music video is coming, which it will be, apparently, "Pay No Mind" if it's considered that this is his new single. "You're On" (Behind the Scenes) The remix package of "You're On", which includes remixes from Alex Metric, Oliver and Gramatik, is out on iTunes. By the way, Madeon has his own YouTube/VEVO channel since the BTS of the track was uploaded there instead of itsmadeon, his YouTube channel.

Madeon was interviewed by Digital Spy, where he discusses about Adventure, as well as the collaborations and other things. A part that caught my attention was when he was asked if he thought that people was expecting to see any major collaboration on the album since he previously worked with Ellie Goulding, Lady Gaga or Coldplay and if he approached any of them for it. He replied the following: "No, I did not. It's really different, I had a very clear idea of what I want my album to sound like, and I wanted it to be something that was really close to my taste; like a way into what Madeon was about. When I worked with Coldplay or Lady Gaga on those projects, I was creating for them and just being a tool in their art. I was humbly helping as opposed to trying to bring too much of my identity - at least that was my approach back then. So I don't consider those collaborations to be Madeon collaborations as such, and it's more about producer things. So I just approached acts that I really personally liked a lot, and I felt really reflected where Madeon lived as a project." Definitely, one of the best answers he could have given in my opinion. "Pay No Mind" received its first play on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show and it was chosen as the Hottest Record. Also, Madeon was interviewed and you can listen to it here. The track is available as an instant grat, while it's getting a proper release in the UK a day before the album comes out there.

An upcoming release schedule is listing "Home" and "Nonsense", the collaboration with Mark Foster from Foster the People, to be out next week. The former will be on Tuesday, while the latter on Wednesday. Madeon already confirmed that "Home" will be out very soon on Twitter and I guess this will be an instant grat track since it's listed in parenthesis as 'G Track'. No information yet from him about "Nonsense" though.

"Home" received its first play today on Annie Mac's new BBC Radio 1 show and you can listen to it here (around the 41:40 min. mark) or below. This is amazing, as well as his vocals! <3

Sometimes, there are artists who release their songs as instant grats before their albums come out and, as far as I remember, some examples were Ed Sheeran and Kelly Clarkson when they dropped some tracks of their respective albums as instant grats daily. However, this didn't happen for Madeon of course. Anyway, when I saw the upcoming release schedule from March 6 and "Nonsense" appeared there, I 'technically' didn't care about the rest since this is one of the tracks I'm really looking forward to the album and, as a consequence, I avoided "Home". Also, as I said before, the latter was listed as a 'G Track', while the former wasn't, so I don't know if it will have a standalone release or not.
Madeon was featured on the cover of DJ Magazine for the April issue. Part of the article from DJ Magazine regarding the album mentions the following: I guess the latter confirms that Madeon will be singing in three tracks. That's amazing! <3

I super excited for "Nonsense," I'm dying for some more Mark Foster. I think they have some new Foster the People song in the works from some video they keep teasing on their Instagram - probably "The Unforeseeable Fate of Mr. Jones" - a song that was never released off of Supermodel.

OMG! The preview of the 'Adventure Deluxe Minimix' sounds incredible. Also, there are rumours that the album will be put on streaming either tomorrow or Tuesday.
There is an editors' note of the album on iTunes, which it says the following: Also, We Got This Covered reviewed the album and they give it 5 out of 5 stars! The full review can be read here and the summary of it says this: I can't wait and I'm more excited honestly.
