She's on the cover of the new Billboard and is named Billboard's first ever "WOMAN OF THE YEAR"! She notes in the article that it's her last album for MCA in her contract. She's (smartly) waiting to see how it does before she makes a decision about continuing with the label. I have a strong feeling that this album will do really well.

This Justin song has to be the next single! I love it! I can't stop listening to it.
If "Because of You" can get to #2, this is a #1 smash for sure.

I'm really excited for this CD!! So far every song I've listened to I love, which is very rare these days!
I hope this is a huge success for Reba!
I like the JT song although I'm not sure how it qualifies as a duet, JT barely contributes vocally.... he's more a back up singer thana duet partner but it's a beautiful song and kudos to Justin for writing such a lovely song!
my favorite shockingly (to myself) is with kenney...every other weekend is a fantastic song!

I still haven't listened to it yet...I'm trying to hold off until Tuesday, but I'm pretty tempted. I can't wait to hear it, especially based on everyone's reactions. I'm so glad that Reba is having this kind of success, and getting this kind of press, in 2007.

She's on the cover of the new Billboard and is named Billboard's first ever "WOMAN OF THE YEAR"! This marks the third straight week a country artist has appeared on the cover of Billboard (Carrie and Kenny were on the cover of the two previous issues).

I have mixed emotions about this cd - I love Reba and own pretty much all of her music - but I don't know about this. I'll reserve judgement until I get a minute to listen to the songs.
The Reba/Kelly duet I liked when it first came out - but as with everything else - it's overplayed around here and now I can't stand it!! Sorry to those who like it.

I'm not a fan of Reba's voice at all but I was pretty impressed with listening to the CD. The song with Kenny is absolutely gutwrenchingly beautiful, their voices are great together and I'm not a particular fan of Kenny's either. I might have to download that track.

Billboard reviewThis wonderfully diverse collection finds Reba McEntire teaming with everyone from Faith Hill to Don Henley to Justin Timberlake and Rascal Flatts. Highlights include the stone country, longing-for-home "Does the Wind Still Blow in Oklahoma," which McEntire co-wrote with fellow Okie and duet partner Ronnie Dunn. The moving "Every Other Weekend," with Kenny Chesney, speaks to the heartbreak of broken families, while a duet with Henley on "Break Each Other's Hearts Again" finds two former lovers hooking up. First single "Because of You" pairs McEntire with Kelly Clarkson on the latter's 2006 hit, and "Everyday People" with Carole King is an uplifting testament to making a difference. The most unexpected cut is McEntire's intertwining with Timberlake on "The Only Promise That Remains"; one could picture the pair singing it at a writer's night somewhere. —Ken Tucker

First-week sales:
Room To Breathe (2003) - 73,000 Reba #1's (2005) - 117,000
Umm, her numbers are much harder to find than the others. Billboard mostly gave just chart positions and not actual sales.

AMG review: (by Thom Jurek) Track picks: Does the Wind Still Blow in Oklahoma? She Can't Save Him These Broken Hearts Does Reba have a daughter? Some of this review I disagree with since I really like every song. Particularly the songs with Faith, Kelly, Kenny, Justin, Carole, and Don Henley, but all of the songs are great IMO.

At least somebody else besides me doesn't care for Because of You. I've been feeling very solitary. I do look forward to hearing the Vince duet one of these days, but after BOY I'm afraid of this album. Reba's a great singer, of course, but when she goes over the top, or off the sidewalk, she's scary.

Justin's best friend Trace dates Joanna Garcia, who played Reba's TV daughter.

I've listened to it three times now, and I really love it. There's not a bad song on there - I was even pleasantly surprised by the Rascal Flatts duet. "Because Of You" quickly became one of my favorite songs after I got over the idea of the lead single being a remake (I think I like it even more since seeing 'Crossroads"). I agree that the Justin Timberlake duet is fantastic, as are the duets with LeAnn Rimes, Trisha Yearwood (even though I've known that song for over 10 years), Faith Hill, Vince Gill and Carole King. But really, the whole album is excellent. I'll be very interested to see the initial numbers from Hits tomorrow.

I trust you'll find it as great as everyone else.

I only bought the duet with Ronnie Dunn from iTunes: it's just awesome, and IMO the only true country song on the album. Their vocals sound so good.

I stopped reading the review after the comment about Ronnie Dunn's baritone! He's a tenor for pete's sake! Somebody that does music reviews should know the difference.

www.countrystandardtime.com/d/cdreview.asp?xid=3683&t=Reba_DuetsReba Duets – 2007 (MCA) Reba McEntire Reviewed by Rick Bell From the opening lyrics, it's obvious "Duets" isn't just another Reba McEntire album. For one, LeAnn Rimes begins the singing followed by one vocal heavyweight after another. Vince Gill, Kelly Clarkson, Carole King, Kenny Chesney and Trisha Yearwood help Reba put an unmistakable stamp on each cut. The musicianship is accomplished and sparse, pushing mature, thoughtful lyrics out front. And the vocals are amazing. Faith Hill and Reba wring every last tearful emotion from "Sleeping With the Telephone." Rascal Flatts weaves a sad tale of love's over on "Faith in Love" while Don Henley and Reba awkwardly attempt to rekindle that old flame. Yet it's the understated, acoustic ballad with Justin Timberlake that steals the album. Aubrey Haynie's haunting mandolin, Rob Ickes' Dobro and a dusting of strings back J.T., who harmonizes for much of the song. When he takes his solo, his sweet, soft tenor is light years removed from the hip-hop Timberlake. Give credit to McEntire for corralling the egos - including her own - and producing an album with depth, passion and a bunch of great voices.
