Consumers are not quite ready to let Frozen go. We love it, and still have yet to get the soundtrack or home video. :) We?

I got my 3-year-old niece the Frozen DVD for Xmas because she had never seen it and my sister hadn't heard of Frozen until a few months ago. Lmao! Apparently she loves it. If they bought CDs, they'd be another latecomer.

I thought about saying DVD. but there's also Blu-Ray, so I figured "home video" was the all-encompassing term. :)
Erin- my other half and I. I'm sure we'll get both sometime this year.

I thought "home video" are just videos that you filmed at home/family events. But I just say DVD since that's what I have.

Forget about Frozen, Lana Del Rey's "Born To Die" is about to celebrate it's 3rd birthday and it's in the top 50 again. THAT literally won't die, cult classic!

Happy for Taylor dominating in early January. This is where Taylor always takes over when her albums are released.
"Into The Woods" the movie and soundtrack have lots of hype that got it top 5.Another hit soundtrack for Anna Kendrick. She could have another one with "Pitch Perfect 2" this summer.

I wish we could get some leaked figures on how much Disney made just from the music of Frozen worldwide. I mean, we're talking millions and millions of streams, downloads, and CD purchases in 40+ languages. We know the Idina Menzel & Demi Lovato versions combined for almost 6 million sales in the US alone, and that's not even counting YouTube and streaming services. The album sold over a million copies in Japan, which is huge, and I couldn't find figures for total sales of the Japanese version of Let It Go, 2 different versions peaked Top 10 there.
This thing is just a cash cow.

How much do you guys think Frozen would've sold in 2006-2007 (around the High School Musical era). I mean if you look at it's chart run- 41 weeks in the top 10 and 57 consecutive weeks in the top 20!
I'd think at least 7 million in 2005, and probably Diamond if it was released in the peak of album sales.

Frozen is also the highest-grossing film in the history of Japan. It spent 18 weeks at #1 at the Japanese box office, and finished its run there with a staggering $249,036,646 gross. The Blu-ray sold 661,000 copies its first day of release.
It was a bigger deal there than anywhere else in the world.
