Trick Pony is reunited as a duo with Keith Burns and Heidi Newfield. They're currently working on new music. :)

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble finding a copy of John Anderson's "Goldmine"?

Do not like that LBB's album is digital only. Grrr. Someone asked about it on Facebook and she said that it was digital-only "for now." Idk if that means they're planning on releasing it on CD at a later date for sure, though it might be a possibility.

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble finding a copy of John Anderson's "Goldmine"? I just assumed I wasn't going to be able to find it at the big box stores & went straight to Ernest Tubbs Record Shop (a touristy record store in Nashville). I found it but sadly they have been going thru some financial troubles lately & there was a lot of empty bends. I think you can order it from them....

That sucks about Ernest Tubbs, that place is awesome. I've been to Nashville 4 times over the past 5 or 6 years, and I always go in there. Before I started purchasing all my music digitally and storing on external hard drive, I once went in there and spent over $200. LOL. I had 30+ CD's, and needed to buy another small suitcase to get them home. Definately a country music lover's paradise

^Yeah , Ive been going there since I was a kid. I bought Hank Jr's "Born To Boogie" new there (and on cassette no less). They just don't get the tourist traffic at the the location anymore. Theres talk of them trying to find a downtown location again , but its changed so much in town I don't know if they could afford it, or if that crowd would even support it.

I went down to Nashville last October and went to Ernest Tubb and loved it, but I remember even then that they were going through hard times. Its too bad because I really liked it there.

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble finding a copy of John Anderson's "Goldmine"? I pre-ordered it on Amazon knowing it would be hard to find up here. Pretty much anything that isn't a big name has become hard to find here in Minneapolis. Never found Kelsea Ballerini so I ordered it at the same time. Target, Wal-Mart, best Buy have cut back so much.

Kacey Musgraves Is Making Country Music Good Again www.thefader.com/2015/05/28/kacey-musgraves-cover-story-pageant-material-interviewThere’s a line on Musgraves’ new album, on a song called “Good Ol’ Boys Club”: Another gear in a big machine don’t sound like fun to me. It’s a classic Musgraves move, layering new meaning on a cliché phrase. In this case, she is referencing Nashville’s Big Machine, a powerhouse label built around the discovery and lucrative evolution of Taylor Swift. “I’m talking about a lot of different people,” Musgraves tells me, when I ask about the double-meaning. “Any industry has its shoo-ins and people that get in because they know somebody, or their dad worked here, whatever. But, yeah, there is a wink.” Swift—one year Musgraves’ junior, the blonde to her brunette, the Yankee transplant to the taxidermy-wielding Texan—used to be more of a direct competitor than she is now that she’s openly left the genre to go full-on pop. (Both of Musgraves’ Grammy victories were over Swift.) “The idea of massive amounts of fame—having my face on Walgreens end-caps and pizza boxes—I don’t fantasize about that,” Musgraves says, referencing some of Swift’s recent album promo. “Do I want to be comfortable, to live my life however I want within reason? Yeah. But I’m happy with just being a songwriter. I’d rather have smaller numbers [of fans] that are really into what I’m doing than a massive amount of people that don’t really know what I’m about.”

^ Pretty impressive that Kacey Musgraves is the first country star to grace the cover of that magazine, too. I don't have time to read the whole cover story right now, but I scrolled through and I must say that I love the photographs in there. She looks amazing in a cowboy hat. #newTerriClark?

"Hearts Desire", "Come and Get it", and especially "Lipstick" are all absolutely outstanding songs based off that soundtrack record he released. Cannot wait for this one. Will be hard to top his debut album but it's possible.

^Beautiful Cover beautiful song honestly Ashley Monroe should be more popular. I think On To Something Good could be the worst track and that one was really solid too. So excited.

^Oh my gosh After The Storm Blows Thru is on that song is pure country poetry. Looking at the track listing looks so promising. I don't have a good feeling on Smoke or Right Here Right now though. But besides that looks awesome.
