The River (WRVW-FM) in Nashville adds it this week; they've started on some crossovers like "Take Me To Church" pretty early on. I'm sure it'll pick up some additional stations soon.

YES!!!!!! If this does manage to start taking off and gets a real push here, I see it becoming massive.

The radio edit is much less so - kick drum throughout, slightly faster, adds more background vocals.

I really like this, but I like "Let It Go" more. Would love to see this do something though.

Are you sure they didn't just add this because of the station name?

I love this. Since this has a sound somewhat more similar to the 2012/13 crossovers than some of these recent ones, I wonder if this can make room for more Alt crossovers again. (I think Rollercoaster, Cecilia and the Satellite, and Black Sun would do decently on Pop if released alongside other Alt crossovers.)

The song is a grower. The first times i listen it i didn't care at all, but now i love it.
And journalists should try at least to listen an artist before an interview, because frankly, it's getting really tiresome to compare every new british singer with Sam Smith

Actually, you're probably right. Not sure why I listed Black Sun at all, actually, and now that I think about it Cecilia and the Satellite would probably end up peaking anywhere below #40.

I really like this, but I like "Let It Go" more. Would love to see this do something though. I think ther only thing working against "Let It Go" is its name. I can't see another hit called "Let It Go" anytime soon because the title is tied to the Frozen song. It's kind of like the name "Happy" or "Radioactive", a common song title but practically off-limits for a major pop hit for the next few years.

This certainly is a grower, really interested in how it gets on in the U.S., he is a massive breakthrough artist in the UK..20 weeks in the UK chart and still #4!

Because it's not. Two songs with the same tittle in the same genre of music at the same time with similar sound, that's a problem. But Indina Menzel's Let it go has a musical sound and it was not a radio hit anyway. Yes, Let it go is ingrained in popular culture, that's for sure, but we even have a song with a similar tittle (Let her go by Passenger) becoming a hit at the same time Frozen was at the peak of its popularity

I could see him being this year's Hozier. One big hit before completely vanishing. Or worse, he could go the way of Olly Murs or John Newman. One minor hit before completely vanishing. I just think with Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith there's no room for another British male singer/songwriter being big in America. Just like the '80s where George Michael and Phil Collins dominated the 2010s will be the decade of Ed and Sam.

Just like the '80s where George Michael and Phil Collins dominated the 2010s will be the decade of Ed and Sam. I don't understand this whole there's only room for two. First Hozier didn't release anything to pop after Take me to church, so it's too early to predict One hit wonder. It's difficult to predict how James Bay will do, right now the trajectory of the song reminds more than Sam or Ed to George Ezra's Budapest, and we don't know yet how well Budapest will do. The truth is George and James are more in Ed's path than in Sam's. Sam conquest of America is quite unique (for the easy it was against all odds). When a british act tries to make it in America, it's difficult to predict what's going to happen. Sam exploded practically at the same time that he did on UK, for Ed were minor hits and a slow growing fanbase. If we take Ed as example, Ed had something that only George Ezra has, before trying in American, he has more than one hit in UK. In Hozier's case, Take me to church was a hit in Ireland, but it was very big in the USA before being very big in UK. Hold back the river is being a hit in Uk right now, he didn't release anything else there. Other singers like John Newman and Ella Herderson had one big hit in UK, and in my opinion their bets were all or nothing, if that hit became big in the USA there would be another singles, if not, they were done for now. With James it's difficult to know what it's going to happen, as i say, right now it looks like George Ezra, but George took some time to establish him in UK before trying in the USA

Being performed (by contestant Joshua Davis, not James himself) on The Voice this week. Get that sales boost!

Finally looked up who sang this song (since I've been hearing it a lot over here on the radio). Almost thought it was the guy/band who sang that "Geronimo" song a few months back.

Under Cool New Music.
I guess this confirms why Republic pushed it again on Hot AC back in July.

Are you kidding? Now? I've already heard this song on the radio through entire 2015. I thought it was done long time ago.
