- Although we said Goodbye to "Goodbye" among this week's droppers, it really didn't leave this week since it was one of the extras played.
- Nicki Minaj is really coming and going this week: "Hey Mama" is the Biggest Mover while "Truffle Butter" is the Biggest Dropper.
- Ellie Goulding moved up to #1 on the recent Mediabase chart. Whether it translates to her taking over the top spot on AT40 next weekend remains to be seen.

Well You Know You Like It finally Breaks the streak of no debuts in the 20s but See You Again should do the same next week.

"All The Small Things" will be the oldest song to be played on AT40 since "Waiting For Tonight" last year.

"See You Again" should have debuted this week, because it's already #15 on The Mediabase Chart.

I guess next week will have to be when it charts.

No, given the typical lag between AT40 and "real time", next week sounds about right. I am, however, surprised that it wasn't a Breakout, this week. That, I WAS expecting.

To be honest, I never saw "Goonies". My earlier mistake was the product of not being able to receive the U.S. cue sheet until late night (actually, it arrived in my inbox while I was asleep) and trying to have the playlist up in haste before getting ready to go to work.

I sense a bit of a theme running with a few of this week's extras: Andy Grammer, Adele, Shaggy, Blink 182...all acts we haven't seen on AT40 with current hits in the survey in quite some time. Two of those look to end their time away now.

And Cerebro has it right with it being potentially too soon for "See You Again" to be in the survey - frankly, I'll be shocked if it doesn't post the highest debut so far this year, next week.

I checked, and "You Know You Like It" is, in fact, the highest debut of the year, so far. #29 shouldn't be too difficult to beat.

Indeed. I remember on an early 2000s AT40 (it would, most certainly, have been during the period when "It Wasn't Me" and/or "Angel" were charting), when Casey mentioned that Shaggy got his stage name from the Scooby Doo character. Casey mentioned that he, himself, was the voice of the character. He, then, proceeded, to deliver a few lines, in character, as Shaggy (including the trademark "Zoiks!", if memory serves). That was one of the rare occasions where Casey broke from his, usual, DJ persona.

I'm late posting this week. I think that Prayer In C isn't mentioned in the lyrics. 2 one-word
titles drop off but are replaced by 2 others. What's with the random extra after #3? Ryan
played a montage of all Maroon 5's number ones. My station went right to a commercial break
after one minute of the Buzz song.

Based on Mediabase chart survey that will be used for next week's show, the song "should" debut around #30.

I meant to mention another bit of trivia that Ryan brought up in this week's show. When "Trouble" debuted, Ryan noted that it marked Jennifer Hudson's first appearance on the chart. He, also, mentioned it becoming the longest gap between an artist's AI debut and their AT40 debut. Hudson was a finalist in season 3 (2004), so it took her 11 years to get to AT40 (not that she hasn't been busy in the meantime...as Ryan noted).

^Without doing any research, I'm assuming that Tori Kelly held the previous record. It took her about 5 years between appearing on Season 9 of American Idol and hitting the countdown earlier this year.
