All Brad's singles are top 5 except 2. They are "Who needs pictures" (12) and "Me neither (18), both off his debut album.

It should be noted that Brad has only had ONE single spend multiple weeks at #1 in two years, and the two singles thus far from 5th Gear have only spent one week at #1. Stiffer competition, perhaps.. I don't know what chart you're referring to, but on Billboard, both The World and She's Everything were 3-week #1 songs.

wm.allaccess.com/allaccess/bradlett.wmaI'm loving this song more and more with each listen. Unlike his latest singles, I think he's really trying to give an awesome vocal performance (not that he has to try). And I guess it's good to hear a more genuine country song from him on the radio, rather than a song about animal bugs and MySpace.

Anyway, "Letter To Me" has been my favorite song on the album since the first time I listened to it. I can now say that it's my favorite single from Brad, and probably my favorite Brad song overall. In fact, it could quite possibly become one of my favorite songs ever. The fact that he is the sole writer makes me like it that much more.

Wow, I'm really digging this song. This could be the best thing he's ever written. This should easily give him that sixth straight #1.

I just heard this, and I really like it. It's actually the first song of his I've really liked since "When I Get Where I'm Going". I won't mind when this song hits #1.

Sorry, forgot to respond to this. All add dates are listed in the first post of the upcoming singles thread though. Anyway, this is at #26 after 4 weeks. Should be top 20 in another two weeks.

Thanks!! And BWAH!!!!! at that shot towards the end! I'm not blown away by the video, but it's nice and it certainly helps knowing that the people pictured are real classmates of Paisley's, and that he put together a real reunion at his high school for this. This song still gets to me every time. * sigh*

I hereby designate this astonishing song as nominee #1 in the 2008 'Song Of The Year' category for both the ACMs and CMAs, as well as a mortal-lock #1 single.
2008 could conceivably mark his third consecutive year with a song finishing in the year-end top ten if everything falls into place; 'The World' turned the trick in 2006 (#2 at Country Aircheck) and 'She's Everything' will undoubtedly do likewise come late December.

I'll guess that Letter To Me will arrive at #1 on 2/2/08, the 15th week of its release. It will then score four weeks at the top, lasting until 2/23/08, to become Brad's biggest hit of his career. That February date should work out nicely with the songs in front of him. Carrie Underwood and Josh Turner divide up the five chart weeks of December (with a slight possibility of George getting a week), then Taylor Swift and Sugarland divide up the four weeks of January, and then Brad arrives. I'm not expecting the Rascal Flatts song to be a strong contender for #1, so that helps out Brad a lot. Maybe Brad doesn't get there until 2/9, but I think he'll get four weeks.

Nov 13, 4:19 PM EST W.Va. Hometown Featured in Paisley Video
GLEN DALE, W.Va. (AP) -- Brad Paisley's new video, scheduled to air Thursday on the Country Music Television network, has special meaning for residents of his West Virginia hometown.
"Letter to Me" was filmed entirely in Glen Dale, and features many of Paisley's old friends, according to the country singer's publicist, Darlene Beiber.
It was shot in September at John Marshall High School, Paisley's alma mater, with some additional footage from the home of Paisley's parents, Beiber said.
Paisley invited members of his graduating class, the Class of 1991, and their spouses to share the stage with him for a reunion scene.
His former teacher Linda Brinkman, who is mentioned in the song lyrics, also appears in the video. It is already airing on the Great American Country network, Beiber said.
"Letter to Me" from the album "5th Gear" is about the advice the singer would give himself if he could send a letter back in time to when he was 17.

Judging by the ecstatic review in this week's issue of BB, this could arguably be the best single of his superb career, and if it's not, it's way up there!!!!
Let the march to #1 roll on..........

"Letter To Me" should be the greatest gainer on Billboard this week with an increase somewhere between 2.6 to 3 million.

Should move into the top 10 next week in just its tenth week. I still don't see anything keeping it from reaching #1.

Should move into the top 10 next week in just its tenth week. I still don't see anything keeping it from reaching #1. I expect it to be his longest-running #1 so far. Shouldn't wear out too quickly, and it's going up pretty fast -- when Sugarland gives up #1, it should be Brad's for a while. This will make it 6 in a row!

"Letter To Me" is #1 on the Real Time Tracker right now. Hopefully it can stay there.
