Rather Be is not Clean Bandit's best song. That goes to Disconnect.

Rather Be is not Clean Bandit's best song. That goes to Disconnect. Disconnect is great, but RB is still my favourite song. If Tears was all as good as its first minute or so, it would easily be the best thing they've ever made.

Sam Smith's voice is unbearable. When he belts or goes into his falsetto, NAILS ON A CHALKBOARD. And when he's not doing that, he's mumbly and whiney sounding. You're certainly not alone with the hate on his falsetto. I think the songs of his that I like at least avoid it for the most part. Outside of that baseline, Charlie Puth's Attention isn't much of anything. Shawn Mendes needs to stop recording music and go back to the coffee shop where he belongs. I like Feel Invincible; the electronic elements enhance the song rather than ruin it. Ready for It is the best single from Reputation so far. Rock actually had a better year than country in 2017.

I’ve never gotten the appeal of Frank Ocean. Sorry.

Filthy has become a full-fledged guilty pleasure of mine.
WHAT YOU GONNA DO WITH ALL THAT BEAST?

Filthy has become a full-fledged guilty pleasure of mine. WHAT YOU GONNA DO WITH ALL THAT BEAST? I also enjoy "Filthy" a lot but mostly for just how bad it is from the lyrics to his performance, and I feel that makes it way more enjoyable than "Supplies" which is also bad but not in a funny way and "Say Something" which has such bland and uninteresting lyrics.

Filthy has become a full-fledged guilty pleasure of mine. WHAT YOU GONNA DO WITH ALL THAT BEAST? All that beast inside your yeast? But seriously, I haven't actually heard it yet. Between the lack of time and a complete apathy, I just haven't felt obligated. I probably should before Sunday though.

Alanis Morissette is a great songwriter, but her voice is a little grating. Though I CAN stand her, but still, she can’t really sing.

Sorry for the double-posting, but Filthy and Supplies aren’t bad songs. I can understand why they are so hated, but I guess Pharrell and Timbaland, with some of JT’s charm, save them.

I like every song I've heard by Julia Michaels (Issues, Uh Huh), as well as any featuring her vocals (Carry Me, Straight Into The Fire).

Justin Bieber’s vocals may be more tolerable, but it’s still uninteresting overall and he hasn’t really improved outside of that imo.

Evanescence is horrible and deserves to be viewed on the same level as Creed and Nickleback.

1-800 by Logic is actually a pretty good song (aside from the chanting in the chorus), though it's greatly enhanced by Khalid's outro (which is easily the best thing he's ever done), and the music video, which is one of the best of the year.

Last Year Was Complicated should've had a litany of Top 20 hits and should've defined a legacy of songs.

Uptown Funk is massively overrated Agreed. I mean, it's decent, but I've preferred every single Bruno's released since then (24K, TWIL, VotF, Finesse).

Agreed. Love Starboy but Kendrick helps the song a lot.
