Green Day has had plenty of hits throughout their career - but which do you consider to be their signature song?

Good Riddance for its cultural significance (it, along with the Vitamin C song, has become a staple at virtually every graduation)

I'd say Time Of Your Life, because it's probably the only song that people who have no idea who Green Day are would recognize, and how it is now the soundtrack to vacation photos, graduations, etc.

"Boulevard Of Broken Dreams", although "Good Riddance" comes very close

It has to be Good Riddance. Boulevard of Broken Dreams was huge at the time but i don't think it was as defining for them as Good Riddance was.

I initially thought of Wake Me Up When September Ends.

Boulevard if you know mainstream Green Day of the 2000s. Good Riddance if you know mainstream Green Day from before that.
When I Come Around for all others :)

I voted for "When I Come Around". Of their earlier singles, it's the one I still hear a lot. "Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)" is a close second with "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams" being a close third.

Definitely "Good Riddance". I remember it being one of my graduation songs for both grade school and high school.

I don't know anyone who remembers/knows Good Riddance, and that's a shame...
But I'll say their signature is BOBD

Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)
They still play that song at graduations (both High School and College), during movie soundtracks, and different moments in pop culture.

Good Riddance. It's near universal in recognition.

Depends on the generation.
'Good Riddance' is probably the correct answer for everyone who grew up in the 90s, but if you grew up in the 00s then... I'd argue 'American Idiot'. Really surprised that has so few votes. That song had such a monumental impact that resonates even today. 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' is probably memorable, but I don't think it carries the same weight. Hell, 'Wake Me Up When September Ends' is probably more of a "signature song' than that.
