Truthfully I'm rather confused if "Love" is the actual single title or if they just keep saying it on social media to be confusing, haha, but something appears to be coming on October 8. the1975.com/

Crying. Their debut album and EPs are some of my favorite work EVER.

I listened to the radio premiere on BBC Radio 1 a couple of minutes ago and the track is so good. I really enjoyed it.

Reminds me a lot of Peter Gabriel's "Sledgehammer." Interesting record.

You could listen to the BBC Radio 1 radio premiere of the track (around the 3:38 min. mark) in the link of the tweet above or here.

This is like Duran Duran doing "Sledgehammer". This isn't just 80s influenced; you could tell me this was a single from 1985, and I'd believe you. It's alright, but I liked the singles from their last album more.

Yeah... I'm disappointed. It's definently Peter Gabriel meets "Girls" from their last album but it's very plain.

Did they sample a song from the mid 80s? The "do what you want to do" part is definitely from an actual 80s song (can't figure out which one) - they either completely ripped it off or they sampled it

I've had my eye on this band since "Chocolate" This record is really interesting. It oozes mid 80s Duran Duran works. A little Bowie too. Pretty much the best of 80s New Wave from England. If they did sample the 80s, then they are on the right track. Can't wait for this one to come out.

The past couple of days, I was wondering what these guys are up to. Then I saw their new song on Spotify earlier today.
Well, the track has yet to grow on me after a couple of listens. I hope I get to like it eventually 'coz I fell in love with both "Chocolate" and "Girls" at first listen.

This is very 1980's which is good, but the vocals are annoying.

I like this. For once, the singer's voice doesn't get on my nerves in this song, and the guitar work sounds very INXS. I'd love to see this get big.

This completely sounds like something right out of the 80s. I don't think it's as catchy as "Chocolate" or "Sex," but it's legit enough.

This does sound a lot like "Fame" by Bowie.

This is a blatant INXS rip-off, but its done right.
