Love this song. Sadly, I remember listening to the album and not really being that impressed. I'll have to give it another listen because I can't really remember anything specific about it. And not liking a Chris Young album is a very upsetting thought for me. lol. This one did standout in my mind though. It's a safe choice, but luckily doesn't sacrifice quality in order to be safe. Really glad Cassadee is on this.

I actually found Chris Young latest album to be so boring and bland. Lifeless lyrics and production. Only the title track this to a point and the Vince Gill collaboration is worth it.

Have to agree with raylatch98 and LBTrocks, I found Chris' new album to be a snoozer. Minus 2-3 songs, the rest was all generic radio fodder that may be really inoffensive but I felt like I heard a 100x already. I just expect more from someone like Chris. He hasn't really had a clever song since "Voices", and only a few songs that were just arranged so well that they overcame any shortcomings in the story or lyrics ("Lonely Eyes", "Tomorrow"). I really want to like Chris, but his music just seems to be missing something for me to get really excited about him.

I have to disagree, I found the album quite enjoyable. Song like "you do the talking" "alone tonight" and " I know a guy" sound great and could easily be radio hits. I also like " what if I stay" and feel like it could be a big hit for him at some point. I was never a big fan of his but this album has turned that around for me.

You know, my first listen of this CD didn't blow me away and I actually ranked it behind most of his earlier efforts. Give it a few more listens and you'll find it grows on you to the point after two months it stands tall above anything he's done before. There's real substance here that will stand the test of time. "I'm Coming Over" will very likely prove to elevate his career to a new level.

Their voices compliment each other and the chemistry is there. I like it.

Video is pretty solid. You can really tell this is a cooperation between the labels, because I expected the video to be Chris heavy, but it really isn't.

I'm almost positive that Big Machine and Borchetta knew that this would be a single from the moment Chris' camp called Cassadee and asked her to be a part of it. Otherwise they probably wouldn't have consented, and it would have wound up being a duet with Chris and a female artist from Sony. I'm sure that the folks over at Big Machine said "yes" in a heartbeat, because being on a song with an established artist like Chris Young is obviously a huge honor for an artist with little to no momentum (like Cassadee). I think the video was well done, but I'm not a big fan of the happy ending. It doesn't really fit the song. Other than that, though, I think it's a solid video. Chris and Cassadee both look great.

On that happy ending note, would've loved for Chris to have stopped at looked at her in the window and then walk off as she turns around looks (obviously not the greatest idea, but one that is more in line with the melancholic feel)...did the video make anyone else realize how quick this song feels? By the time they both left "the party" it felt like the song was almost over.

Love the video, except I do agree the ending didn't really make sense for the song. I'm so glad this is a single though and that Cassadee is featured on it. Really excited to see my favorite song on the new album become another big hit for Chris Young!

"Think Of You" will jump all the way into the Mediabase top 35 this Sunday, making this Chris' fastest rising single of his career.

Chris received 4 ACM nominations today. 2 as an Artist and 2 as a Producer. Single Record of the Year and Album of the Year for I'm Comin Over. Pretty impressive.

Looking like the I'm Comin' Over album era just might be the star-making one for Chris that's been on the horizon for awhile now.

Chris Young & Cassadee Pope "Think Of You" enters the MB Top 30 today at #27. This song is definitely connecting well and is also moving very fast. What I'm curious about is once this is done how well will Cassadee Pope's solo career go. Hopefully she'll have better luck than Ashley Monroe.
As for this song this has definitely grown on me as the two singers have great voices and chemistry. The lyrics also I like cause it tells a same story in a unique way, I still stand by my statement that they underutilize Cassadee Pope. What does ultimately sour my taste is that the song just feels way too polished and I feel like Chris Young could've had a little more rough production I feel like that might've helped the song.

I like this song a lot. I think it's interesting how the lyrics deal with two people having an identity as a couple that is bigger than the two of them singularly. Our closest couple friends just recently got divorced, and selfishly, it was devastating for us (not to mention them!) to lose them and their identity as a couple, even though we are still close friends with both of them individually.

Is this gonna go number 1 on country? It looks like it's gonna go to number 1. I hope it doesn't, cuz I like both of them and itll be cool to see Cassadee get her first number one.

It's actually a little interesting to see if "Think Of You" will hit the top. Chris Young is expected to co-host CCUSA next week and that means Chris & Cassadee Pope either have to make their move this upcoming week or the following week, and with what appears Dierks Bentley pulling away from Chris & Cassadee, I think it's a legitimate possibility that "Think Of You" is a MB only #1. "Think Of You" will have two weeks maximum to hit the top so this next week in order to increase the odds Chris Young & Cassadee Pope have to at the very least stay within range of Dierks Bentley.

You really put an unusually high amount of stock in the importance of hosting CCUSA on whether someone gets to #1 or not. I put an unusually high amount of stock into CCUSA because that indicates for the most part when a label is going to be done with a song (give a week extra at most) I'm actually giving Chris/Cassadee the benefit of doubt they'll push this the week after Chris Young co-hosts (where they could possibly be at a disadvantage on BB) The way I see it is one of the three songs ("Snapback", "Think Of You", and "Somewhere On A Beach") will miss out on the top spot (at least on BB that is) as usually the week a massive "head for #1" or whatever the hell its called that Saturday/Sunday when the week the aforementioned song. Let's use "Little Toy Guns" for an example) the week that song hit #1 coincided with Carrie co-hosting CCUSA which help secured the #1 spot on MB, while Blake Shelton who already had such a lead on BB was scheduled the week after, if I recall correctly the MB order for #1 went "Little Toy Guns" then "Sangria" if I'm not mistaken and what a coincidence that was the same exact freaking order as CCUSA. I really don't think it's a mere coincidence that for the most part they've had it as the week of co-hosting equals the week a song is pushed to the top whether it be MB or BB or both. Their are exceptions to the rule (Chase Bryant recently with "Little Bit Of You", Thomas Rhett "Die A Happy Man" lasting a couple of weeks after but that probably had more to do with how big of a hit that was,). I like to believe that it's a sign and at the very least it makes chart watching somewhat more interesting for me at least.

"Snapback", "Think Of You", and "Somewhere On A Beach" next week (this week FGL n.1 on both charts is sure) will start to fight for the n.1. I hope at least a 1 week #1 on both chart for Chris because Dierks seems to have at least 2 weeks at the top...
Chris Young co host the CCUSA on 23-24 april Old Dominon on 30 april - 1 may Dierks on 7-8 may. Usually how long before CCUSA announces the co - host? Thanks.

Can't we get a chart domination of Chris and those songs stay away from #1? I like "Snapback" alright and I'm not a major fan of SOAB, so seeing one of my favorite songs out now getting a multi week chart topping would be great.
I know it's a bit off topic, but what chance is there of us seeing a time when some songs just fall short of #1 and we get truly top songs that stay on the top of the charts for multi-weeks, a month?

Well recently we just had "Die A Happy Man" rule for over a month and "You Should Be Here" spend 3 weeks at the top, blocking the big hit "Drunk On Your Love". I actually think Chris is in a bad position here. "Somewhere On A Beach" has passed this one and has a comfortable enough lead. Dierks' album isn't due for another couple of weeks as well, so he's a prime candidate for at least 2 weeks at #1 on Billboard. I almost wonder if this results in another 3 week #1 on Billboard, with all 3 songs (including "Snapback") get a week at #1 on Mediabase.

I wonder if these previous #1s are exceptions to the rule or not, because I have noticed that for the past couple years I have followed the charts (loosely) the trading weeks at #1 is the "norm" at the moment, isn't it? I would hate for Chris to be the odd man out in this situation here, personal opinion being that his song is clearly the better of the 3.

That's been my thinking lately Chris & Cassadee haven't gained any ground on Dierks and the push week is next week, it's only Wednesday so there's still time to make up ground but Chris has to start moving pronto, not to mention the fact that Old Dominion continues to fall farther and farther behind. I think Dierks is in a good position.

Any suggestions for the third single? Overall, I think the album is pretty weak, so there aren't many songs jumping out at me. I would like to see Chris use his momentum to release "Sober Saturday Night", but sadly that's probably a pipe dream at this point with summer coming soon. I feel like they'll go "Sunshine Overtime" to keep the safe feel good song streak going.
