From tomorrow I plan to post 10 songs each day that made the 2015 year-end top 100 of my chart!
But before we get into this, here are some honorable mentions: 112. Fight Song - Rachel Platten 111. Chains - Nick Jonas 110. Wasn't Expecting That - Jamie Lawson 109. Little Red Wagon - Miranda Lambert 108. Wild Child - Kenny Chesney with Grace Potter 107. Ghost - Ella Henderson 106. Runaway (U & I) - Galantis 105. My Bed - Sunny Sweeney feat. Will Hoge 104. No.100-91 And the countdown begins...
#100: God Made Girls - RaeLynn
Weeks: 12 [spent 1 more week in 2014] Peak: 15 Points: 1,054,500 Notes: This top 20 country hit became a hit on my chart as well, reaching the top 15. I know this song wasn't that well-received, but I liked the melody. The lyrics were so-so imo...
#99: Break Up In a Small Town - Sam Hunt
Weeks: 12* Peak: 3 Points: 1,060,650 Notes: One of the artists that dominated 2015 was Sam Hunt, and this is the first Sam Hunt song to appear on the year-end list (with more to come). "Break Up In a Small Town" moved 8-3 on the last chart week of 2015, so expect this song to appear on next year's year-end list as well.
#98: Save It for a Rainy Day - Kenny Chesney
Weeks: 21* Peak: 16 Points: 1,064,400 Notes: Three Kenny Chesney songs charted in the top 20 this year, but this was the only song that made it onto the year-end list ("Wild Child" came close though). It became a 3-week chart topper on country radio, and it became big on this chart as well.
#97: Locked Away - R. City feat. Adam Levine
Weeks: 18 Peak: 6 Points: 1,065,000 Notes: This was one of the few songs where the Billboard Hot 100 peak and the peak on my chart was the same (#6). Songs involving Adam Levine/Maroon 5 pretty much peak lower on my chart than on Billboard because maybe I'm not just as big of a fan of Adam Levine/Maroon 5 as the general public is...
#96: Black Magic - Little Mix
Weeks: 22* Peak: 8 Points: 1,076,500 Notes: This song was Little Mix's first entry on the chart ever since their debut single "Wings" peaked at #27 in 2013, but it became their breakthrough hit. The followup has not charted yet, so it remains to be seen if this is a one-time thing or not. Also, the fact that Fifth Harmony and One Direction (boy bands and girl groups I tend to group together) had hits may have made it easier for them to get a hit.
#95: Little Toy Guns - Carrie Underwood
Weeks: 14 Peak: 7 Points: 1,081,500 Notes: I love the lyrics and the music video to this song so much! However, I couldn't quite get into the melody so that's probably why I didn't LOVE the song. Carrie's consistently put out such strong material, and I adore her for that. Two more Carrie songs are ahead of this song on the 2015 year-end list, with all of them peaking inside the top 10 (weekly).
#94: Something in the Water - Carrie Underwood
Weeks: 10 [charted for 11 more weeks in 2014] Peak: 8 Points: 1,090,500 Notes: Aaaaand here's another Carrie song! (Did you expect this so soon after I mentioned there are two more Carrie songs?) If this hadn't charted at the end of 2014/beginning of 2015, it would have charted much higher on the year-end list. Overall, it racked up over 2 million points. The fact that it peaked at #8 kind of surprises me considering how much I love this song. (I LOOOVE this song lol)
#93: Headlights - Robin Schulz feat. Ilsey
Weeks: 24* Peak: 7 Points: 1,098,900 Notes: This song was the followup to the massive songs "Waves" and "Prayer in C", and Robin Schulz did not disappoint. Even though I didn't like it at first and it took me almost 3 months to like it, it made its way into the top 10, partly due to the release of "Sugar". I feel like this should've racked up more points...
#92: Blame It On Me - George Ezra
Weeks: 19 Peak: 12 Points: 1,102,500 Notes: The followup song to his breakthrough hit "Budapest" charted well on my chart as well, peaking right outside the top 10. I'm kind of sad that it never took off in the US, although it did reach #2 on Triple A. I might actually prefer this to "Budapest" now. The music video's nice too.
#91: Buy Me a Boat - Chris Janson
Weeks: 26 Peak: 16 Points: 1,108,800 Notes: Chris Janson's breakthrough hit was a hit on my personal chart as well, reaching the top 20 with his first entry on the chart. The follow-up, "Power of Positive Drinkin'" has not made a dent on my personal chart (I haven't listened to it yet actually) but I'll get around to listening to it. I really like the honesty in this song. People say money can't buy happiness, but I feel like money's really important... so I can relate to this song.
Btw, does anyone know how to make the images work? I don't know why it's not working for me...

No.90-No.81
#90: The Party (This Is How We Do It) - Joe Stone feat. Montell Jordan
Weeks: 19* Peak: 11 Points: 1,126,050 Notes: This UK top 20 hit which samples Montell Jordan's 1995 hit "This Is How We Do It" just missed the top 10 on the weekly chart but managed to make the year-end countdown. This year, I've started listening to EDM songs that are hits outside of the US, and this is one of them.
#89: Next To Me - Otto Knows
Weeks: 21* Peak: 15 Points: 1,139,850 Notes: Another EDM song that became a hit outside of the US! This song hit #7 in Otto Knows' home country Sweden. Although it did not crack the top 10, it hung around the top 30 for a long time. The music video's kind of cool too.
#87: Budapest - George Ezra (tie)
Weeks: 14 Peak: 7 Points: 1,144,500 Notes: George Ezra's breakthrough hit "Budapest" comes in at #86 on the year-end list. The indie folk-ish sound was kind of past its peak when this came out, so I wish it would've become a bigger hit, but the chart climate may not have been the best for artists like George Ezra and Vance Joy.
#87: Focus - Ariana Grande (tie)
Weeks: 7* Peak: 2 Points: 1,144,500 Notes: I actually like this song, especially the bridge (and how Ariana says "focus on me" twice during the bridge but that's so specific lol). I did feel like this was too similar to "Problem" like many people did though. I hope Ariana can come back with a stellar single once 2016 rolls around!
#86: Die a Happy Man - Thomas Rhett
Weeks: 11* Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 1,150,500 Notes: I really grew to love Thomas Rhett this year! All of his singles that charted this year hit #1, which is a really difficult thing for country artists, or any artist for that matter to achieve. Before this year, "It Goes Like This" had reached #7, but it did not stay on the charts very long, and "Get Me Some of That" did not even chart. The current #1 as of right now will probably be in the 2016 year-end list as well considering how much I like this song. He also became really big in the country world as well, and I'm happy that an artist that I like doing so well!
#85: Lay It All On Me - Rudimental feat. Ed Sheeran
Weeks: 12* Peak: 6 Points: 1,152,150 Notes: This song is really different from Rudimental's typical drum and bass style, but I think it worked out pretty well. I finally became able to appreciate Rudimental's style this year. I charted "Waiting All Night" for one week at #46 back in 2013, but I didn't get their appeal until this year when I happened to hear "Waiting All Night" and my impression changed drastically. The amount of EDM I listened to this year was definitely more than any other year in my life, so that probably has to do something with it. So sad it didn't crack the top 10 in the UK or did not become bigger (and stalled once it hit top 20 on top 40 radio) in the US :'(
#84: Like I'm Gonna Lose You - Meghan Trainor feat. John Legend
Weeks: 22* Peak: 9 Points: 1,158,600 Notes: Riding off her success with "All About That Bass", Meghan Trainor had a successful year. "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" was the fourth and latest single from her debut album Title, which looked like it was never gonna take off and then magically took off once fall came around. It was kind of the same way on my personal chart as well, and it took a long time for me to get into it. However, it became her fourth consecutive top 10 hit on my personal chart and her third top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. I wonder when she's planning to release her sophomore album...
#83: Avenir - Louane
Weeks: 13* Peak: 5 Points: 1,162,350 Notes: Despite being the first ever French song to chart on my personal chart, it made the top 5. I don't understand French, but the "J'espère que tu vas souffrir Et que tu vas mal dormir Pendant ce temps j'vais écrire" part sounds so good! I really like the way that part sounds. It's a really catchy song, so maybe give it a listen?
#82: Like I Can - Sam Smith
Weeks: 14 Peak: 9 Points: 1,162,650 Notes: Like Meghan Trainor, Sam Smith had a really successful 2014, and carried his momentum into 2015. I didn't like his two singles released in 2015 did not as much as his 2014 singles, but I liked this one and wished it would have been bigger in the US (#99 :'( ). At least it became a hit in the UK, reaching #9 there.
#81: Lonely Eyes - Chris Young
Weeks: 16 Peak: 10 Points: 1,164,000 Notes: I had never listened to a lot of Chris Young music before this year ("Tomorrow" and "Aw Naw" may have been the only songs I had listened to), but he is great! I really like his voice. It's sad that "Who I Am With You" or this song didn't make #1 on Billboard, but "I'm Comin' Over" was a big hit later in the year, so good for Chris I guess?
* denotes songs that are still charting.

Oh! Great countdown so far. "Fight Song", "Chains", "Ghost" and "Runaway (U & I)" are my favourites from the honorable mentions, while I like to see "Headlights", "Blame It on Me", "Next to Me", "Budapest", "Die a Happy Man", "Lay It All on Me" and "Like I Can" so far. Also, I listened to "Avenir" a couple of days ago because I saw that track on another YE chart and I enjoyed the production, despite I don't know what she's saying. Btw, does anyone know how to make the images work? I don't know why it's not working for me... Yeah! The pics aren't working and I guess it's because of the link from Wikipedia you're posting as the URL. I mean, I took this one from "Confident" that you're using as an example. [img alt="" src="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confident_(Demi_Lovato_song)#/media/File:Demi_Lovato_-_Confident_(Official_Single_Cover).png" style="text-align:center;font-size:small;max-width:100%;"] So, instead of getting the URL from the viewfinder of the pic where the Wikipedia's article for each song is, I guess you should click on the pic and you should get this one. [img src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/25/Demi_Lovato_-_Confident_%28Official_Single_Cover%29.png" alt=" "] This one should work for you.

I just realized I made a HUGE mistake by forgetting one song that was supposed to be in the top 40, so everything is going to be pushed down one spot. I will go fix it right now. Sorry!

I like the production for "Avenir " as well! I actually made two of my friends listen to "Avenir" the other day, and they said they liked it! They even bothered to ask me the name of the French song that I played (I'm assuming because they wanted to listen to it more but didn't remember what is was called). Neither of them speak French.

No.80-No.71#80: Sugar - Robin Schulz feat. Francesco YatesWeeks: 22* Peak: 9 Points: 1,168,500 Notes: The second Robin Schulz song on the list is the European smash "Sugar". I'm happy that it's making its way up the US charts as well! The "Suga Suga" sample was brilliant and I loved it. I'm kind of surprised I made the song go down the charts so quickly... #78: Crushin' It - Brad Paisley (tie)Weeks: 15 Peak: 6 Points: 1,180,500 Notes: A fun song imo and I really like it. (The "every week has a weekend" line is a line we all can relate to.) The music video was cool as well, starring many country stars (animated). This became Brad's second of the three top 10 singles (so far) on my charts off of Moonshine in the Trunk. #78: Easy Love - Sigala (tie)Weeks: 15* Peak: 3 Points: 1,180,500 Notes: Another tie (I've never had this happen to me before)! This UK #1 made its way to the top 3 on my chart. The Jackson 5 sample makes the song for me, and the song is really catchy! Now time to release "Sweet Lovin'" in the US... #77: Perfect Storm - Brad PaisleyWeeks: 10 [spent 4 more weeks in 2014] Peak: 5 Points: 1,189,500 Notes: I love this song, but because it peaked in January, some points were not included in the 2015 year-end list. This was the song that started Brad's string of top 10 hits on my chart, and it was also a success on country radio. When it became Brad's first #1 on (Billboard) country radio since 2011's "Remind Me", I was so happy! #75: Talking Body - Tove Lo (tie)Weeks: 16 Peak: 10 Points: 1,197,000 Notes: This became Tove Lo's first top 10 after "Habits (Stay High)" had failed to do so, having peaked at #13. It was the first Tove Lo song that I really got into. I'm glad the song performed well for a followup single after a huge debut single :) #75: FourFiveSeconds - Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney (tie)Weeks: 15 Peak: 9 Points: 1,197,000 Notes: Rihanna's first single since "What Now" back in 2013 became a success worldwide and on my chart as well. It also became Paul McCartney's first entry on the chart. I was ok with the song at first, but I grew to love the song (as I do with most ballads). I hope the new Rihanna album comes soon! #74: Crash and Burn - Thomas RhettWeeks: 37* Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 1,199,850 Notes: This song debuted at #1, but it plummeted quickly because I overplayed it in its first week of release It became a big hit for Thomas on country radio, and pushed him into a new level of stardom. #73: Something Better - Audien feat. Lady AntebellumWeeks: 19* Peak: 7 Points: 1,201,500 Notes: Barely breaking the 1.2 million points line is "Something Better". This only became a minor hit on top 40 radio, but I really liked it. Hillary's voice fits well with this song imo. This year, we saw Zac Brown and Lady Antebellum trying their hand at dance music (ZB with Avicii's "Broken Arrows") and I thought that was really interesting. #72: Strip It Down - Luke BryanWeeks: 17 Peak: 9 Points: 1,224,900 Notes: After "Kick the Dust Up", I think this was a decent song, but I don't know how it got this high... (I like the song but #72 on the year-end list? Maybe not...) Btw I used the album cover for the song because the single cover that I looked up wasn't a square. #71: Rio - Netsky feat. Digital Farm AnimalsWeeks: 15* Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 1,241,550 Notes: A top 5 hit in the Flanders region of Belgium became a #1 single on my chart. This song reaching #1 was impressive because not only was it the first drum-and-bass song to hit #1, it interrupted Taylor Swift's 8-week run at #1 with "Wildest Dreams". It burned on me quickly though, hence the relatively fast drop down the chart. * denotes songs that are still charting.

Poor Confident. Thanks (for both the "great countdown so far" part and the images part) :) Now I have the images working and the countdown looks prettier! Just text for a year-end chart is kind of sad so... You're welcome. That's good to know. I guess I could try to do the same. :) Anyway, good to see "Sugar", "Easy Love", "Talking Body" and "Something Better" so far. Also, I remember I have listened to some parts of "Rio" before (not the complete song) and it's not bad. I like the D&B production and it reminds me slightly to Rudimental's singles from Home.

No.70-No.61 This might be the most interesting group so far...
No.70: Glitterball - Sigma feat. Ella Henderson
Weeks: 19 Peak: 4 Points: 1,258,200 Notes: Two D&B songs back to back! This track reached #4 in the UK, and it was perfect for the summer. I enjoyed listening to it outside in the sun (I still do if it is warm enough). Not to mention that Ella Henderson looks gorgeous in the music video :)
#69: I'm Comin' Over - Chris Young
Weeks: 11* Peak: 2 Points: 1,274,550 Notes: This became Chris Young's highest charting single on my chart, peaking at #2 for two weeks. Because of this song and the previously mentioned "Lonely Eyes", I'm starting to get into his songs. It was also a big success on country radio, peaking at #1 for three weeks and becoming his first #1 since "You" back in 2012.
#68: Supergirl - Anna Naklab feat. Alle Farben & YOUNOTUS
Weeks: 20 Peak: 8 Points: 1,282,950 Notes: Despite only peaking at #8, this song was a very influential song for me. This was the song that really pulled me into house music and made it possible for songs from people like Lost Frequencies, Kygo, Felix Jaehn, and Feder to be hits on my chart. The same thing happened to EDM in general, and more EDM songs became hits in the latter half of the year, after this song became a hit. Also, the type of EDM songs I listen to diversified after this. I only used to listen to EDM songs that appear on top 40 radio (Calvin Harris, Zedd etc.) but now I listen to stuff outside of that. I'm starting with European EDM hits, but hopefully I'll listen to more EDM stuff in 2016! This became a hit in multiple European countries, notably in Austria where it hit #1 and Germany where it hit #2 behind Felix Jaehn's smash "Ain't Nobody (Loves Me Better)".
#67: I Won't Let You Walk Away - Mako feat. Madison Beer
Weeks: 18* Peak: 8 Points: 1,306,200 Notes: When I was looking for EDM songs to listen to back in August, I discovered this song, which I instantly got into. The music video was cool too. I can't comment that much about this because I don't know much about Mako or Madison Beer, but it hit top 10 on US dance radio, so good for them for having a hit :)
#66: Biscuits - Kacey Musgraves
Weeks: 15 Peak: 6 Points: 1,308,000 Notes: It was really similar to "Follow Your Arrow" but I really enjoyed it! But because of that it burned on me quickly It became Kacey's third #6 peaking song on my chart (out of five at that point), but is her lowest performing song in terms of points earned, as all of her singles have reached at least double platinum. Its performance on country radio was very disappointing, failing to crack the top 40. Get it together country radio!
#65: Night Changes - One Direction
Weeks: 12 Peak: 4 Points: 1,321,500 Notes: This was the first One Direction song that I truly enjoyed (I liked "What Makes You Beautiful", "One Thing", and "Story of My Life", but I didn't truly enjoy them), and made me more willing to give One Direction songs chances. However, they're going on a hiatus (and this was the last single with Zayn :'( )... The lyrics of the chorus are really relatable and spoke to me, and I feel like the music complements the lyrics pretty well.
#64: Burning House - Cam
Weeks: 27* Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 1,321,800 Notes: I love this song, especially the musical arrangement! It hit #1 on my chart back in July, and it finally hit #1 on Mediabase (country) this past week (but not on Billboard :'( ). The label appears to be pushing for a crossover, so more people may be able to hear this wonderful tune! I hope it does well!
#63: Same Old Love - Selena Gomez
Weeks: 14* Peak: 4 Points: 1,328,400 Notes: "Good for You" didn't make the year-end list, but the follow-up single made the list at #63. I didn't like this at first, but it grew on me, which is the opposite of what happened to me with "Good for You". So far this era has been a step down on my chart from her last album, Stars Dance, but she'll have more singles, so we'll see about that. Selena's got 2 top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 from the same album for the first time, and her career seems to be moving in the right direction.
#62: Uptown Funk! - Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars
Weeks: 18 [spent 5 more weeks in 2014] Peak: 5 Points: 1,332,000 Notes: This didn't become as huge of a hit as it was worldwide on my chart. It still was a big hit, hitting double platinum. It's probably my favorite Hot 100 year-end No.1 since Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" back in 2012. One funny thing about this song is that I get really bothered when people refer to this as a Bruno Mars song even when I know that people aren't gonna remember Mark Ronson but...
#61: Stole the Show - Kygo feat. Parson James
Weeks: 25* Peak: 8 Points: 1,336,500 Notes: This song became a huge hit across Europe as the follow-up to his massive single "Firestone". I didn't like "Firestone" that much (#55 peak on my chart), but for some reason, I really liked this. I'm not a super big fan of his original songs, but I LOVE his "I See Fire" remix.

No.60-No.51 No.60: Hello - AdeleWeeks: 8* Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 1,341,000 Notes: Adele took the world by storm when she returned to the spotlight with "Hello". Although I don't like this song as much as some people do (they LOVE it), it still made the year-end list and have been in the top 10 ever since its debut. The next single "When We Were Young" is set to debut on the chart in the next few weeks. #59: Roma - Bangkok - Baby K feat. Giusy FerreriWeeks: 21* Peak: 5 Points: 1,353,000 Notes: A huge smash in Italy this summer (11 weeks at No.1) became a hit on my chart as well, becoming the second Italian song ever to reach the top 5. I remember a Pulse member telling me hearing Italian on a reggaeton beat was really strange. My friend who's from Latin America said the same thing about this song, but I love this anyway. #58: Lose My Mind - Brett EldredgeWeeks: 34* Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 1,353,450 Notes: This was another song which debuted at #1 but tumbled down the charts and stayed on the bottom half of the chart for a long time. I fell in love with Brett with "Beat of the Music" which was #4 on my 2014 year-end top 100 list, and while this wasn't his best effort, I still liked it. On country radio, this continued his #1 streak, becoming his fourth consecutive #1. #57: Beautiful Now - Zedd feat. Jon BellionWeeks: 17 Peak: 7 Points: 1,386,750 Notes: Although it was a moderate hit on top 40 radio and the Hot 100, this became a big hit on my chart, continuing Zedd's top 10 streak that has continued since "Clarity". However, this is the lowest peaking Zedd single since "Spectrum" which peaked at #27 back in 2013. #56: Country Nation - Brad PaisleyWeeks: 13* Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 1,419,150 Notes: This is the third Brad Paisley song to make the list, and also the highest one. I love this song, and "Country Nation" became a #1 hit right as the song reached top 20 on country radio. It's still rising (currently #14 on Mediabase), so I will continue rooting for this song! Also, this song became Brad's second #1, with the first one being "Beat This Summer" which reigned for a week back in 2013. #55: El Mismo Sol - Alvaro SolerWeeks: 17* Peak: 5 Points: 1,432,500 Notes: The only song in Spanish to become a big impact on my chart this year was this pan-European smash. "El Perdon" and "La Gozadera" charted (and a few others were close to charting), but they failed to make long-lasting impacts. I much prefer the solo version over the version with Jennifer Lopez. I don't know why, but Jennifer Lopez kind of ruins the song for me... #54: Smoke Break - Carrie Underwood Weeks: 17* Peak: 3 Points: 1,438,350 Notes: I love this song because of how relatable it is. Even if you don't smoke or drink, there are times where you feel like you need a break. It became Carrie's highest charting song of the year and earned the highest placement out of all the Carrie songs that made it on the year-end list. On country radio, this peaked at #2 (again). I really wanna see Carrie at the top of country radio again! I never would have seen this coming when her last #1, "Blown Away", reached the summit in late 2012. #53: On My Mind - Ellie GouldingWeeks: 13* Peak: 3 Points: 1,440,000 Notes: For me this was kind of a letdown coming off of "Love Me Like You Do" (which was a pop masterpiece imo), but it was still a catchy tune that I enjoyed. I especially like the instrumentation in the song. Spoiler (not really lol): "Love Me Like You Do" is still ahead! #52: Up - Olly Murs feat. Demi LovatoWeeks: 13 Peak: 5 Points: 1,444,500 Notes: The UK #4 hit became a top 5 hit on my chart as well. I like pretty much every aspect of the song, but it burned on me because I overplayed it... Did the label ever try to push this after "Wrapped Up" flopped pretty hard? It's nearly a crime that this didn't see the light of day in the US. #51: What Do You Mean? - Justin BieberWeeks: 16* Peak: 3 Points: 1,458,000 Notes: Never thought I would ever have Justin Bieber in my year-end list! It's a really great song, and I think this has won me over (among many other people I assume). This is not to say that I'm a Bieber fan, but I'm perfectly comfortable with listening to Justin Bieber's music (and actually liking some of it). * denotes songs that are still charting.

Good to see "Glitterball", "Supergirl", "I Won't Let You Walk Away" (Surprised to see this here), "Biscuits", "Burning House", "Stole the Show", "Hello", "Beautiful Now", "El Mismo Sol" (I prefer both versions actually and Jennifer Lopez's is slightly better for me because of the production. I know they tend to be similar, but the latter is more upbeat in my opinion.), "On My Mind", "Up" and "What Do You Mean?" so far.

No.50-No.41We finally get into the top half of the year-end list! No.50: Hey Mama - David Guetta feat. Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha & AfrojackWeeks: 20 Peak: 6 Points: 1,463,250 Notes: This song brought David Guetta back to the top 10 in the US and also on my chart ("Dangerous" peaked at #15 even though "Lovers on the Sun" peaked at #8 last year). I really like Bebe's chorus and the way Nicki's rap flows. This was Bebe's second top 10 after being featured on Cash Cash's "Take Me Home" (#9) and Nicki's first since "Anaconda" (#2). I don't have the chart data before 2013, but it's supposed to be Afrojack's first top 10 since "Give Me Everything". #49: Wrapped Up - Olly Murs feat. Travie McCoy Weeks: 11 Peak: 3 Points: 1,474,500 Notes: Olly's singles from Never Been Better have been on point in my opinion. I didn't chart "Seasons" but it's a good song. I seriously don't know why this flopped in the US... One episode about this song and me is when I played this song and "Up" for some of my friends, one of them told me "The songs you play are really catchy and good!" Olly #48: Hotline Bling - DrakeWeeks: 11* Peak: 2 Points: 1,500,600 Notes: From here, all the songs broke 1.5 million points in the 2015 chart-year. This song was the first Drake song that I've liked this much since "Headlines". I seem to like more of his mellow stuff, as my three favorite Drake songs are "Best I Ever Had", "Find Your Love", and "Headlines" (this song may kick out "Find Your Love" soon). I also enjoyed all the memes that came out from the music video :) #47: Goodbye - Feder feat. Lyse Weeks: 18 Peak: 4 Points: 1,594,800 Notes: I would have never thought that I would end up liking this song. I first listened to the song when it was a big hit across Europe but I couldn't get into it at all. However, after a few listens, it got really addicting. I will always remember these lyrics: Then, you ran awayAre you thinking of meWhen you f**k her?Doubt she know you were supposed to love meTill the day (you)AlmostKill me
This is almost iconic (for me at least) lol... The guitar part is addicting as well. #46: Honey, I'm Good. - Andy GrammerWeeks: 24 Peak: 6 Points: 1,610,850 Notes: I have a love and hate relationship with this song. While I think the song is really catchy, it's kind of annoying for me at the same time. The music video is sweet and cute :) #45: Don't It - Billy CurringtonWeeks: 16 Peak: 3 Points: 1,620,000 Notes: The lyrics aren't that great, but I really love how breezy this song is and this by far outweighs the lyrics for me. That might have to do with me being a melody-oriented music listener than a lyric-oriented one. This became his third consecutive #1 on country radio, but the follow-up "Drinkin' Town With a Football Problem" stalled at #30 which worries me a lot... #44: Sangria - Blake SheltonWeeks: 20 Peak: 5 Points: 1,680,750 Notes: Blake's singles from Bringing Back the Sunshine were three out of three until "Sangria" and I was pleasantly surprised by it ("Gonna" ruined the streak for me). I like the beginning of the chorus (The "We're buzzing like that no vacancy sign out front, Your skin is begging to be kissed by a little more than the sun" part) and the production in general. #43: Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey) - The WeekndWeeks: 22 Peak: 5 Points: 1,684,950 Notes: This was the song that truly kicked off The Weeknd's massive 2015 ("Love Me Harder" was also a big hit, but at that point, the success could have been because of Ariana so I didn't include it). The Weeknd songs take a long time for me to latch onto, and this was no different. Despite being released at the tail end of 2014, it hit the top 10 in May 2015 on its eleventh week on the chart. "The Hills" likewise just hit the top 10 after 7 months of its release. #42: One Last Time - Ariana GrandeWeeks: 18 Peak: 7 Points: 1,755,000 Notes: This wrapped up Ariana's successful My Everything era, which had great single choices. I really like it, but when I was playing music for my friends, this came on and it was really unpopular :'( They were like "Can you change the song?" almost every time this came on... Up until I was searching for the image to use on this countdown, I didn't know David Guetta was one of the co-writers of the song :o #41: Cool for the Summer - Demi LovatoWeeks: 20 Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 1,774,200 Notes: Poor Demi again because I originally had this song at #40 but I forgot to include the song that was supposed to be #36, so this got pushed out of the top 40 :( "Confident" got pushed out of the top 100 as well, so Demi ended up being the biggest victim :'( I love the new direction she took with this song, and the music video was on fire!!! Demi should've released this song earlier though... Releasing a summer song in the beginning of July (unless you're Adele, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift etc.) doesn't give enough time for songs to grow on radio until the song falls out of season. * denotes that the song is still charting.

No.40-No.31#40: The Nights - AviciiWeeks: 19 Peak: 8 Points: 1,789,950 Notes: Despite only having peaked at #8, this made the top 40 of the year-end list. It was more successful than its predecessor, "The Days" which peaked at #5 but earned less points than this song. The fact that this was used in the FIFA 2015 soundtrack helped (I personally don't own or play FIFA that much, but someone I know really well does and this was playing when I was playing FIFA with this person). #39: Somebody - Natalie La Rose feat. JeremihWeeks: 17 Peak: 6 Points: 1,824,000 Notes: I really enjoyed this song! It helped that I knew where the sample came from, but also the beat was catchy and it was fun to bop along to this. I wonder what she's planning to do next now that "Around the World" didn't do so well after this became her breakthrough hit... #38: Ain't Nobody (Loves Me Better) - Felix Jaehn feat. Jasmine Thompson Weeks: 27 Peak: 5 Points: 1,834,500 Notes: This was a very big year for Felix Jaehn, from his remix of "Cheerleader" becoming a worldwide hit to this song which became a very big hit across Europe (and Australia to a lesser extent). I love the use of the pianos and Jasmine Thompson's voice in this song. I think it suits the song very well. I didn't really like his new song, "Book of Love" though... #37: Leave the Night On - Sam HuntWeeks: 37 [charted for 17 more weeks in 2014] Peak: 8 [peaked at #1 for 4 weeks in 2014] Points: 1,837,050 Notes: The #6 song of 2014 made the top 40 of this year's year-end list. This massive song has earned more than 6,000,000 points during its chart run, and is by far Sam Hunt's most successful single on this chart. I just can't get enough of this song, and I still play this song from time to time and never get tired of it. #36: Dear Future Husband - Meghan TrainorWeeks: 16 Peak: 2 Points: 1,848,000 Notes: I was really sad to see this not hit the top 10 of the Hot 100 and top 40 radio. I was worried it may not do as well as the previous two because it was so similar in style to "All About That Bass" and "Lips Are Movin", and it became true. This is probably my favorite Meghan song now that I think about it ("Like I'm Gonna Lose You" and "All About That Bass" are close [AATB earned more points on the chart though]; I'm not too big of a fan of "Lips Are Movin"). Meghan looks really good in the single cover btw. This was the song I forgot to include. Sorry Meghan! #35: Lonely Tonight - Blake Shelton feat. Ashley MonroeWeeks: 15 [charted for 5 more weeks in 2014] Peak: 5 Points: 1,854,000 Notes: This is a really good song and I think it might be my favorite Blake Shelton song ever. Ashley Monroe adds great harmony :) I was really happy to see this hit #1 on country radio (and it's Ashley's first #1!!!). #34: Alone No More - Philip George & Anton PowersWeeks: 11* Peak: 1 (2 weeks) Points: 1,891,500 Notes: Philip George broke through big in the UK this year (technically it was released at the end of December last year but) with his single "Wish You Were Mine". I didn't chart that song because I thought it was kind of too late by the time I started to like the song (which was in July or August I think) but this song hit #1 and made up for it. This became a big hit in the UK as well, hitting #4. #33: Another You - Armin van Buuren feat. Mr. ProbzWeeks: 24 Peak: 2 Points: 1,906,950 Notes: This was Armin van Buuren's second charting single after "This Is What It Feels Like (feat. Trevor Guthrie)" charted back in 2013. Coincidentally, both songs peaked at #2. It was a pain to see its run on the US dance charts because it was being held off of the #1 position for so many weeks because of how huge "Lean On" was... #32: Love Me Like You Mean It - Kelsea BalleriniWeeks: 20 Peak: 3 Points: 1,908,750 Notes: I wasn't a really big fan of the song when I first heard this song, but I came to like it and it ended up becoming the 32nd biggest song on my chart this year. It made big news in the country world when it became the first song by a female solo artist to hit #1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart since Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away" did so back in 2012. The followup "Dibs" is currently at #12 on Mediabase country and is in a good position to go for #1, so let's hope another song by a female artist hits #1! #31: # fuori cβΓ¨ il sole - Lorenzo FragolaWeeks: 21* Peak: 2 Points: 1,935,000 Notes: This became the first Italian song to hit the charts as well as the top 3 on my chart. It was a top 5 hit in Italy this past summer, and I really loved the summery vibe that the song had. * denotes songs that are still charting.

I love "I Won't Let You Walk Away" :) Cool! Despite I like the track, I think I prefer "Sunburst", which is the original version of the track, while "I Won't Let You Walk Away" is the vocal one. Anyway, good to see "Wrapped Up" (I prefer the version without Travie McCoy), "Goodbye" (YES! One of my favourites and so addictive as well), "The Nights" (not as strong as the other Avicii tracks) and "Alone No More" (I got into Philip George because of "Wish You Were Mine" as well) so far. I also like "Cool for the Summer", but it burnt on me really fast, while I don't like "Dear Future Husband" because I still think it's a rip-off of "Dance With Me Tonight". The latter deserved to smash in the US.

I think that might be why I like "Dear Future Husband" because I love "Dance With Me Tonight". I totally agree with you on the deserving to smash in the US thing. I hated how they botched the release after "Troublemaker" became a big hit... Did they even end up releasing it because I don't remember...?

No.30-No.21#30: Heroes - MΓ₯ns ZelmerlΓΆwWeeks: 24 Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 1,940,850 Notes: The Eurovision winner of 2015 also reached the top of my charts with the Eurovision-winning song, "Heroes". So far this holds the record for the biggest jump to #1 by jumping 47 spots to #1 and also the shortest reigning #1 ever on my chart. Since the week when it was #1 was the transition chart (adjusting for the shift in release schedules), it was only #1 for 4 days, which is shorter than the regular chart week. The song burned on me fairly quickly though... #29: King - Years & Years Weeks: 19 Peak: 3 Points: 1,941,150 Notes: I really enjoyed this song, even though I wasn't familiar with this type of music prior to this song. Even though I wasn't really expecting it to do much in the US anyway, I was still sad to see this barely crack the top 40 on pop radio. #28: Dime Store Cowgirl - Kacey MusgravesWeeks: 22* Peak: 4 Points: 2,005,800 Notes: From here we have songs that hit 2 million points in the 2015 chart-year. My admiration for Kacey never stops... She's so talented and delivers country music! I love pop-leaning country stuff, but I like more traditional-leaning stuff as well. Radio needs to play Kacey and more traditional-leaning stuff (there needs to be balance). Since her big break in 2013, all of her singles have reached at least #6 and she has had a song in the top 30 of the year-end chart for 3 consecutive years. This could stop next year as she doesn't seem to be releasing any more singles off Pageant Material, but I could chart "Late to the Party" at my discretion (but then I would have to amend my chart rules)... #27: Sugar - Maroon 5Weeks: 21 Peak: 6 Points: 2,037,000 Notes: This was the first Maroon 5 song I really liked since "Love Somebody" or maybe even "Moves Like Jagger". Singing this is super hard, the amount of falsetto use is insane (I tried and it was hard) as with many Maroon 5 songs but this one was super insane. This became Maroon 5's third consecutive top 10 song and the most successful one from V on my chart ("Maps" also peaked at #6 and "Animals" peaked at #9). #26: I'm Not the Only One - Sam SmithWeeks: 22 [charted for 11 more weeks in 2014] Peak: 3 [peaked at #1 for 1 week in 2014] Points: 2,069,400 Notes: This was the #19 song of 2014 with 2,505,500 points during the 2014 chart-year, but it earned enough points to rank at #26 on the 2015 year-end list. This is my favorite Sam Smith song to-date (I love everything about this song), and because I played it so much around November of last year, this is one of the songs that reminds me of 2014. The fact that Dianna Agron was in the music video was a plus (I used to watch Glee until season 4). #25: I Want You To Know - Zedd feat. Selena GomezWeeks: 15 Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 2,122,500 Notes: This was one of the five songs to debut at #1 on my chart this year, and it became Zedd's fourth and Selena's first #1. I really like the instrumentation and the production in this song. I thought this was going to do around as well as "Stay the Night", and while it did so on the Hot 100, it stalled outside the top 10 on top 40 radio, which was a surprise to me. #24: House Party - Sam Hunt Weeks: 31 Peak: 5 Points: 2,148,750 Notes: The third single off Montevallo failed to reach #1 but it still became a big hit in its own right, reaching the top 5. I think the reason why it didn't fare as well may have been that I overplayed it before its run as a single... I really love Montevallo as an album even if it's not strictly country. I'm really excited to see what he has coming up for the future :) #23: Love Me Harder - Ariana Grande & The WeekndWeeks: 23 [spent 9 more weeks in 2014] Peak: 2 Points: 2,199,300 Notes: This is my favorite Ariana song so far, but it ended up missing the #1 spot due to heavy competition around the end of 2014 and the beginning of 2015. At that time, "Blank Space", "Thinking Out Loud", "I'm Not the Only One" and "Love Me Harder" were all competing for the #1 spot, and while all the other songs reached #1, this song peaked at #2. However, it could have peaked at #3 because it had peaked at #3 at the end of November and held at #4 until the beginning of January and then squeezed into #2 behind "Blank Space" when INTOO and TOL slowed down. Blank Space was dropping in points at that time, but LMH couldn't hang on. Overall, it was a big success for Ariana, becoming her most successful song on my chart by racking up over 4.4 million points in total, surpassing "Problem" which earned 4,338,000 points. #22: See You Again - Wiz Khalifa feat. Charlie Puth Weeks: 23 Peak: 2 Points: 2,296,050 Notes: The third biggest song of the US this year was a success on my chart as well, peaking at #2. I love Charlie Puth's voice in this song and the piano parts. It's funny how the #23 song and the #22 song have the exact same number of weeks spent on the chart during the 2015 chart-year and the same peak... #21: Are You With Me - Lost FrequenciesWeeks: 27* Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 2,304,600 Notes: This was the first deep house song ever to reach #1 on my chart and the third ever EDM song to debut at #1 on the chart (the other two are both by Zedd who debuted at #1 with "Stay the Night" and the aforementioned "I Want You To Know". This song kicked off Lost Frequencies' big latter half of 2015, with "Reality" becoming a hit as well. This became a huge hit all around Europe but didn't become big in the US :'( * denotes that the song is still charting.

For me, when I listened to "Sunburst" I wanted vocals, but maybe that's because I was used to listening to the version with vocals... Yeah! I guess that makes sense. I've actually never listened to "Wrapped Up" without the rap, but the rap is sort of unnecessary imo, so I should try listening to the version without the rap. The non-rap version was included on the EP of the track, which was released in the UK. I think that might be why I like "Dear Future Husband" because I love "Dance With Me Tonight". I totally agree with you on the deserving to smash in the US thing. I hated how they botched the release after "Troublemaker" became a big hit... Did they even end up releasing it because I don't remember...? As far as I remember, "Troublemaker" was released in the States and "Dance With Me Tonight" was intended to be the follow-up (replacing "Army of Two"), but I think it was pulled off. Such a shame! :(
Cool to see "Heroes", "King", "Dime Store Cowgirl", "I Want You to Know" (I like it, but it ended up to be one of my least favourite tracks from True Colors after I listened to the album), "Love Me Harder" and "Are You With Me" in this batch.

No.20-No.11#20: Shake It Off - Taylor SwiftWeeks: 51* [spent 19 more weeks in 2014] Peak: 9 [peaked at #1 for 7 weeks in 2014] Points: 2,401,800 Notes: The song that kicked off Taylor's domination with 1989 was the #1 year-end song of last year with more than 8 million points (and about 2 million ahead of the #2 song, Katy Perry's "Dark Horse") and also is the #20 song of 2014. Because I loved this so much at first, it got so many points early in its chart run and has more points than any 1989 song, but this is not my favorite song off that album. This was the only song that spent the full 2015 chart-year on the chart, and the longevity helped it rank at #20 on the year-end list despite only having reached #9 during the 2015 chart-year. (I cut my chart-year one week short to adjust the chart-year from January-December to mid-December to mid-December so I can post the year-end countdown before the year ended.) #19: Worth It - Fifth Harmony feat. Kid InkWeeks: 25 Peak: 2 Points: 2,776,350 Notes: Fifth Harmony's first charting single made it all the way to #2 behind Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood". At first I was reluctant to like this because it was Fifth Harmony (I had the tendency to group girl groups and boy bands together) but as soon as I shook that off, I loved this. Some people thought this was a ripoff of "Talk Dirty", but I prefer this to "Talk Dirty". In terms of chart performance, I was very sad when this missed the top 10 of the Hot 100, but it was quite an accomplishment on their part to have made it that far. #18: Thinking Out Loud - Ed SheeranWeeks: 24 [spent 8 more weeks in 2014] Peak: 2 [spent 2 weeks at #1 in 2014] Points: 2,780,400 Notes: This was one of the songs that unfortunately got their chart points split into two chart years and did not make the year-end top 10 of 2014 or 2015 (if it had not had their points split into two chart years, all three songs mentioned in this sentence would have had enough points to make the year-end top 10), along with "Love Me Harder" and "I'm Not the Only One". This song amassed over 4.5 million points in total and easily became Ed's biggest hit on X. It had very bad luck on the Hot 100 being stuck behind the massive "Uptown Funk"... #17: How Deep Is Your Love - Calvin Harris + DisciplesWeeks: 22* Peak: 3 Points: 2,821,500 Notes: This was a departure from Calvin's style, but I really enjoyed this song! This is actually Calvin's fourth out of the recent five singles (not including "Open Wide" because it did not chart) to peak at #3. "Summer", "Blame", and "Outside" all peaked at #3 for some odd reason. US charts-wise, I was surprised it went that far on top 40 radio, as I was thinking this type of song wouldn't make it past #21-#25 zone. #16: Stitches - Shawn MendesWeeks: 18* Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 2,830,950 Notes: This was another song that interrupted Taylor Swift's 8-week run at #1 with "Wildest Dreams". The fact that he's only 17 makes me very excited to see what's in store for him in the future. I'm starting to like his new song, "I Know What You Did Last Summer" as well. #15: Don't Be So Hard On Yourself - Jess GlynneWeeks: 18* Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 2,956,500 Notes: This made it two-in-a-row for Jess Glynne, reaching #1. What was more impressive was that it spent the following 6 weeks at #2, making it the longest stay at #2 ever on my chart. This year, I fell in love with Jess Glynne :) Also, this is a great song to listen to when you're feeling a bit down (as the name of the song suggests)!!! #14: Homegrown - Zac Brown BandWeeks: 20 Peak: 3 Points: 3,027,000 Notes: From here we have songs that earned more than 3 million points in the 2015 chart-year. This has become my favorite Zac Brown Band song behind "As She's Walking Away". I loved this song so much that it made me revisit many ZBB singles, and I enjoyed it more than I thought I did, so that was a nice discovery :) #13: Photograph - Ed SheeranWeeks: 29* Peak: 1 (2 weeks) Points: 3,246,600 Notes: This song was very nice because I could switch the versions I listen to by flipping between the original and the Felix Jaehn remix. The Felix Jaehn remix is great :) The remix was another great offering by Felix Jaehn, who was on fire this year. I love the lyrics to this song because it is so applicable to family relations as well. The music video is really cute :) #12: Hold My Hand - Jess GlynneWeeks: 36* Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 3,262,800 Notes: It was a great year for Jess, and it started with this song that came out in March. This hit #1, "Not Letting Go" which she was featured on hit #1, and the aforementioned "Don't Be So Hard On Yourself" hit #1. With the ascent of the "Don't Be So Hard On Yourself" to #1, she tied Cheryl for the most #1s in the UK by a female British solo artist. On top of that, her debut album "I Cry When I Laugh" debuted at #1 in the UK as well. She wasn't as successful in the US however, with "Hold My Hand" peaking at #86 on the Hot 100 and making the top 30 on top 40 radio. I was very sad as an avid supporter of the song :'( So you can tell that I love this song... #11: Make Me Wanna - Thomas RhettWeeks: 20 Peak: 1 (1 week) Points: 3,358,500 Notes: This barely missed the top 10, but it's nearly 350,000 points away from the #10 song, so it's not that close. This song was the song that made me like Thomas Rhett, and that is amazing considering the fact that "Get Me Some of That" made me really dislike him. I really love the grooviness this song has. * denotes that the song is still charting.

"How Deep Is Your Love" made the Top 20! Also, great to see both Jess Glynne tracks, "Stitches" and "Shake It Off" too.

I'm glad to see you like her songs too It took me about a month to really start liking "How Deep Is Your Love" but it had great longevity after that. It spent ten weeks inside the top 10, which only happens on my chart for huge hits.
