Due to circumstances that are out of my control, I am not able to post the full playlist in advance of the week's show anymore. Instead, this is used as a placeholder until Friday when the show airs on the iHeartRadio channel. I have a day job and I normally work on Fridays so if anybody happens to listen to the show beforehand and are willing to jot down the entire chart (including extras) as possible please send a PM or e-mail jdelachjr2002@yahoo.com and I'll have it up as soon as possible. I'm sorry but that's how it's going to be moving forward. According to the AT40 website, the SUBWAY Fresh Buzz song choices are either Empire Of The Sun's "Walking On A Dream" or One Direction's "History" (the third option is "Middle" which was last week's Breakout). To quote Ecstasy, Passion & Pain, "Good Things Don't Last Forever." Thanks for posting these for as long as you have. It meant a lot to many of us. I am hoping maybe someone else has a way of getting the lists to post.

Nuts! Thanks, jdelachjr2002, for providing the advance chart for as long as you've been able to. Sorry to hear that it's no longer going to be a "thing". Normally, the new chart is available on the AT40 web site 2 or 3 days before the weekend (sans extras, of course). It's not directly linked until the weekend, but if you go to the most recent chart, then, keep incrementing the 5 digit suffix of the URL upward, you'll, eventually, run into it. Unfortunately, this week is, particularly, frustrating. Whoever is running the web site is asleep at the wheel, because the 2/27 chart STILL isn't up on the site (it's Wednesday, for crying out loud...), so I'm not holding out any hope that the 3/5 chart will be available in a timely manner. I guess we wait 'til Friday...

Also I wish I knew about that way of finding the most recent chart.. I used to refresh endlessly Saturday nights to get it before I knew it was posted here earlier in the week.

I have been looking for the Hot AC version of the chart for quite a while using this method, but unfortunately they haven't even been posting this a few days ahead for the last month now. So I hope they did not stop doing this too. I will look again on Friday to see if it's there.

jdelachjr2002, thanks for always posting the chart in the past. It was great to see what the chart looked like ahead of time. It does stink that you can no longer do it, but stuff happens. I guess we all have to wait until later in the week to see the AT40 chart, but I hope somehow, the entire chart will be posted here ahead of time, if someone can get it.

Thanks for the understanding fellas. I wish I was still able to provide the full list in advance but the powers that be at iHeart/Premiere have ruled otherwise. Just as bad as doing away with the Top 3 recap and having the show start straight at #40 (again, I assume that was an executive order). They just don't want us to be "spoiled" prior to the weekend (I assume the iHeart channel still begins the new AT40 on Fridays but of course they play the international edition and they don't play the op extras which were the reasons I had a contact send me the full playlists to begin with these last two years).
It's been a good run.

It's been a good run. As far as I know, there are two stations that run the show before the iHeart channel updates it. Virgin Radio Dubai has it, complete with optional extras, at 11 p.m. EST on Thursdays (midnight after the time change to EDT). And Sun FM in Whakatane, New Zealand has it one hour later (midnight EST). Also, Hit FM in Beijing airs the show on Fridays at 7 p.m. EST. The New Zealand and China streams are not always reliable. The Dubai stream is always there. But note they do edit the content somewhat, mostly for references to sex and alcohol.

I posted the chart here a few times by listening to the show when AT40.com first changed it for the week (usually Thursday night, at least then) and writing down or typing in the songs as I heard them. In other words, the old school method that I started using when I first heard the show with Casey Kasem--back in (cough) um, 1980-something.
(For the current version I'd list extras I heard and then add in others based on posts here or what US stations aired on the weekend.)

"History" - One Direction (Fresh Buzz Song) "Something New" - Zendaya featuring Chris Brown "Never Forget You" - Zara Larsson & MNEK
Op extras are: "On The Floor" - Jennifer Lopez "Viva La Vida" - Coldplay "Airplanes" - B.O.B. featuring Hayley Williams "Dark Horse" - Katy Perry featuring Juicy J.

So I'm at #21 on Virgin Radio and I wonder if I should be worried that I didn't hear any random in-show extras (especially after the obligatory #39) halfway through the show?
Maybe the iHeart channel will actually be more helpful (somewhat) when this weekend's show airs. But even then, it may take until the early Saturday airings in the U.S. for a 100% playlist.
I'm going to bed but I at least added droppers in the header. Troye Sivan is the biggest mover (up six) and unless another song had a bigger fall, "I Know What You Did Last Summer" is the biggest dropper (and on the same weekend Camila Cabello turns 19. Ouch!).

Chart is up now. Other than "Whatever You Like" (which Seacrest actually introed - shocker!), I didn't spot any additional extras. If anybody listens to the iHeart channel later Today and spots additional extras, please let me know.

Just finished listening on the iHeart station. Your list is complete. There weren't any other extras played. Kind of a lightweight week for extras.

Dang. I'm gonna be used to you posting this on wednesday nights. and ya kind of a slow week this week i think. Here's my sweep on this week's AT40*** I didn't expect"IKWYDLS"to go that fast. I love that song. And also my new favorite "Youth" OMFG It's my jam forever. And I don't really understand why "Be Right There" had to drop so soon. I wish "Electric Love" would've took it's spot instead. And TGT Shawn Hook is on. Hope that song goes into at least the Top 20. I'm also waiting for "In The Night" to get at least 1 week at #1. I'm not too of a fan of this week's AT40. But at the same time I am. There's my scoop on this week's American Top 40!:)

Anything's possible, but as it currently stands "My House" is the likeliest next #1 according to Mediabase. "In the Night" never hit #1 there or came all that close to doing so.
Meanwhile, from the MB totals so far I think "Stressed Out" will be on top for at least three weeks. (YES! WOOHOO!)

No one answered my question. I think extras (aside from the "new" songs) tend to be requests that get sent in by e-mail/Twitter or the like.

Again (and again), no Two-for-One this week despite Selena's latest hit "Hands to Myself" replaced her previous #1 song "Same Old Love" on the AT40 Top 10.
And it looks like Seacrest bought back the usual toll-free hotline to the listeners since the last time around was the Shoutout segment. But it seems to be that instead of the Shoutout, it turns out to be "Tell Me Something Good" which is also the segment on his daily program.
