As long as it's like Dirt or Confession, I'd be down for it. Anything else? Pass.

Hoping for something like Dirt, which is far and away their best single to date.
Not surprised to see them taking no break. Keep riding the momentum.

I can't wait! Hope they keep pushing Confession for a couple more weeks though.

I don't like "Dirt" or "Confession" so I hope it's something totally different than anything they've ever done before. My expectations are low, but as with everything I'll listen with an open mind. Not a fan of their vocals, but could probably deal with them if I like the song well enough. The two best songs FGL have recorded so far were both covers: "Stay" and "If I Die Tomorrow."

Eh, from what I remember from the Rate The Music survey, this was one of my least favorites among the songs that they were considering for the first single. The Tim McGraw duet sounded legitimately good, but even though it was under consideration I definitely wasn't expecting a duet first. I do think it will be a single at some point, but probably closer to the end of Tim's Damn Country Music era.
The "You're/She's Holy" song sounded like it had a really repetitive chorus...literally nothing but "she is holy" repeated over and over again. I didn't pay super close attention though so maybe I'm wrong. I'll give this a chance when it comes out, but my expectations are low.

I didn't pay super close attention though so maybe I'm wrong. According to Windmills on twitter (who also took the survey), that's a major element to this lead single. "You're holy, holy, holy, holy I'm high on loving you, high on loving you"
"You're holy, holy, holy, holy I'm high on loving you, high on loving you"

"You're holy, holy, holy, holy I'm high on loving you, high on loving you"I could see this one being polarizing with the trypophobia crowd. In all seriousness though, FGL has never given me reason to expect anything out of their music but I hope it's at least tolerable like "Dirt" or "Confession."

Some of their music is really good so I expect this will follow suit. Fixed. Half of the country community would say worse.

As for this, I'm going to remain optimistic, I have a decent feeling that this song will sound decently country and might who knows be good. I'm glad they released "Confession" as it showed more artistic growth from these guys. I hope they keep it on a roll.

Expect an official announcement for this one by ACM night or next week at the latest. Promotion for "Confession" was pulled yesterday.

Man that's disappointing. Why would they not give "Confession" a big push this week or last week? They could have easily jumped Rascal Flatts.

They were not outdoing Cole Swindell and Brett Eldredge this week -- I don't care what push they put on. This week and last week were all about Warner Music Nashville.

A #3 peak vs. a #4 or #5 peak is not worth the trouble if they have their next, highly anticipated lead single itching to be released. I understand the frustration though.

Yeah but isn't Rascal Flatts on the same label? Seemed like it would have required very little effort. But I guess that's just me nitpicking.

If it's not #1, I don't think it means much. FGL has had numerous #1 singles by now and the team/label is probably ecstatic about "Holy" and getting it out there to radio. Rascal Flatts is not releasing new music soon like FGL, so they'll likely continue pushing "I Like The Sound Of That" for at least another week or two. If they're deciding to not push for a peak of #3, then that shows how little they care about that since it wouldn't require bending over backwards to accomplish. It just doesn't matter. You can argue they painted themselves into a corner by creating this lead single deadline. At least "Confession" saw radio, which I'm sure many are happy about.

Can you remember the name of the McGraw duet, or any of the lyrics? I'm not 100% sure on this, but I believe the song is likely called "May We All". I heard a 90-second preview of it on a Rate The Music survey a few weeks back. Here are some of the lyrics: Verse (probably the 1st verse): " May we all get to grow up in a red, white, and blue little town Get a one-start hand-me-down Ford to try to fix up With some part time cash from drivin' a tractor Find a sweet little thing that wears your ballcap backwards The kind of place you can't wait to leave but nobody does 'Cause you miss it too much" I didn't get all the chorus lyrics down, but there was a line about a quarter in a jukebox, a Travis Tritt song, and then the lines " Get lost down some road, slow rollin' with the top off the back of a bronco, smilin' with her hair blowin' out the window". The last lines of the chorus went something like "learn to fly, if you can't then you just free fall, may we all". After that it went into Tim's verse, with the lyrics going " May we all get to see those fields of green turn gold, watch a marching band play with the harvest moon"...and that's where the preview faded out. The song was one of 5 or 6 songs in consideration for the lead single, but I doubt they would have gone with a duet first. I do think it will be a single, though, possibly towards the end of Tim's current album cycle.

I'm normally pretty apprehensive when it comes to Florida Georgia Line but these lyrics actually sound very good, and I'm a big fan of Tim so I'm excited for this. I hope the production will lean more on the country side than most of Florida Georgia Line's other songs.

Legitimately very excited for this. Based on what you guys are saying about the clips and the small clips I've heard, they should really deliver on this album. I loved their first album but the second one just fell very short for me.
Since they performed "Confession" at the CMAs, I could see them debuting the new one Sunday night.

I'm not a very big FGL fan either (I don't like Tyler's voice, or most of the lyrics in their songs), but I love Tim. The preview of "May We All" actually sounded quite good, though. It wasn't nearly as loud as most of FGL's songs are. I can't remember exactly what the production sounded like, but I seem to remember it being more country-sounding than most of their radio singles and other songs.
