it would seem you have forgotten about I Took A Pill In Ibiza lol Oh shoot you're right. Thanks. Lemme fix that: 1. Purple Rain - Prince 2. One Dance - Drake 3. Panda - Desiigner 4. 7 Years - Lukas Graham 5. Formation - Beyonce 6. I Took a Pill In Ibiza - Mike Posner 7. Work From Home - Fifth Harmony 8. Work - Rihanna / Drake 9. When Doves Cry - Prince 10. Pillow Talk - Zayne you do realize that Formation is not on Spotify and the one on YouTube is barely getting any views right? There's no way that in this day and age less than 200k sales with about 20M radio audience and a couple million streams is enough to be top 5, especially with the kind of competition it has. I honestly think you're aiming way too high with that one. But don't mind me lol also One Dance is still very, very far behind in streaming so a small lead in sales and airplay won't be enough for it to overtake Panda this week

According to my estimates, sales for Purple Rain should be around 325k. So it won't be able to get #1 or #2.
Formation should sell around 160k (so I doubt it debuts in Top-10).

No way is One Dance going to be ahead of Panda this week (MAYBE next week, but for now Panda is way too far ahead in streaming) 1. Panda (47500) 2. One Dance (43500) 3. Purple Rain (38000) 4. 7 Years (37000) 5. I Took A Pill In Ibiza (31000) 6. Work (30000) 7. Work From Home (30000) 8. When Doves Cry (29000) 9. Formation (25000) (is it even available for any streaming that actually counts...?) 10. PILLOWTALK (24000) goodbye Love Yourself, and congrats on spending your first 23 weeks in the top 10 to set a new record I hope WFH ends up above Work because I want to see Work tumble tumble tumble huehuehuehue no #1 for Prince unless he ends up getting a lot more than 5M streams and/or 288k sales :( I mostly agree. I'm not sure about the placings of WDC and Formation, but let's see how this goes 1. Panda (=) 2. One Dance (+1) 3. Purple Rain (+14) 4. 7 Years (-2) 5. I Took A Pill In Ibiza (=) 6. Work (-2) 7. Work From Home (-1) 8. When Doves Cry (+12) 9. PILLOWTALK (-1) 10. NO (-3) Not sure about #7 and #8, but I give the edge to WFH Outside The Top 10: 11. Love Yourself (-2) 12. Formation (Debut) 13. Me, Myself & I (-3) 14. Cake By The Ocean (-3) 15. Don't Let Me Down (-1) 16. Little Red Corvette (+13) 17. Let's Go Crazy (+22) 18. Kiss (+10) 19. My House (-6) 20. Dangerous Woman (-5) 21. Hold Up (Debut) 22. Stressed Out (-9) 23. Never Forget You (-8) 24. Low Life (-6) I'm also not too sure if Formation will beat MM&I for #12, but I'll give it the edge (remember, it does have 23m AI. According to kworb at least) Here's a question: Does airplay count for the Prince songs?

I guess I was thinking there'd be a sales drop for Panda that might level/open the playing field a little more. Estimates show Panda with about 90k sales this week, down about 20% from last week. I realize it has big streaming and airplay is on the rise. But I also know that huge sales are powerful. It'll be fun to see how it shakes out.

"Purple Rain" will likely have minimal airplay since the first few days after Prince's death were on the last chart week. So, more so it's about streams. How many streams would it need to contend for #1?

How many streams would it need to contend for #1? 5m streams = about 4200 points. 10m streams = about 8300 points. Either of these in addition to big Sales and whatever minimal airplay it ends up with seems like it would put it in the running with over 40k points (assuming sales are 300k+) Maybe not a super close match, but in the general ballpark perhaps? No? I'll defer to Ravi.

Added up they have well over 30 million views, though some are obviously outside the U.S. and some would have been from before this chart week. Still, if they count then 5-10 million views (or more) is entirely plausible.

I'm not sure how much streaming it will get from other sources, but I don't think it will do much more than 3M overall.

For Panda, increases in Streaming and Airplay will more than compensate for the fall in airplay, so it will increase in H100 points overall.

Kworb is estimating 200k+ sales for Formation, while I'm expecting 170k. So if Kworb is right, Formation will debut in Top-10, but if I'm right Formation may miss it. Similarly I'm expecting 320k sales for PR while Kworb is predicting 280k. So PR will be #3 with my number, but #4 with kworb's number. Otherwise I mostly agree with your predictions.

Early predictions for next week: 1/2 Panda 1/2 One Dance (going to be very close) 3 7 Years 4 ITAPII 5/6 WFH 5/6/7 DLMD 6/7 Work 8/9 PILLOWTALK 8/9/10 TIWYCF 9/10 NO 11/12 Needed Me 11/12 Love Yourself Needed Me can also go Top-10 but it needs to pick up on sales and airplay (it is already huge on streaming).

going to move this to this thread since I feel it is more relevant here than the Hot 100 threadSeems there is a good chance of Work From Home hitting the top 5 next week as it is guaranteed to overtake Purple Rain and will likely get ahead of Work (unless Calvin and Rihanna get top 5). It will be interesting to see if Beyoncé remains in the top 10 next week or not - Formation has been holding better on iTunes than I expected. I agree.... but if it gets blocked from Top-5, it will be because of "Don't Let Me Down". Calvin should debut in Top-10, but won't go Top-5. I would be perfectly okay with DLMD blocking it! Where do you think DLMD will be next week?
