You're basically spending time coming up with a formula that already exists. Ravi uses it every week. As do I for the year end prediction updates. Except the fact that you and Ravi have more access to other stats that aren't on kworb. I just take Ravi's posts and do estimates from them, lol. |

No we don't. Outside of what Billboard reveals in their weekly write-ups, it's all referencing kworb, estimating and guesswork. |

So how do you guys find the streaming amounts from the week before (because Ravi has said that he takes the streaming from the week before and estimates how much it will gain/lose based on stats from earlier in the week)? I can't speak for Ravi, but using data that Billboard reveals as a foundation helps a lot. Look at Spotify and Youtube on Kworb in the weeks when Billboard gives data for a song (including percentage lost or gained), and then compare and estimate in the following week when Billboard doesn't reveal data for a song. So on and so forth. |
