As we know, every once in a while, Billboard gives a revised edition of the greatest songs of all time. The most recent one is outdated, because in the next update, Thinking Out Loud should be #81 and See You Again should be #50, with Dark Horse and I'll Be Missing You dropping out. Shake it Off finishes at #103 and The Hills finishes at #106. Work is currently at #197 (surprise!) and Sorry and Love Yourself are currently at #127 and #126, respectively.

If Thinking Out Loud wasn't on the Greatest of All Time when Uptown Funk entered, then why would it be there now if it's outdated? Because Thinking Out Loud got the boot on the first week of 2016 thanks to the 52/25 recurrent rule... See You Again I get because of the extra weeks it spent in 2016, though.

The GOAT was calculated in like September.

Huh, interesting. You'd think they'd do this stuff after the year is over and when the year-end charts are finished...

Well, seeing as Sorry dropped out two chart rounds after this thread was made (the 9/3 week), I take it that one is done. But if Love Yourself drops out on the 9/17 week will it have any chance? I would think it won't...

I would think it won't... LY will finish at #122 if it drops out this week. It'll make the Top 100 if it lasts for the rest of the year, which it wont, but I do see it making top 120 if it lasts another week or two. BTW Sorry is now #124, right ahead of "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion.
