Chart's finally up (blame "Big Brother: OTT" for the lateness). Adele finally gets her due at #1 albeit a week late.

• So Perfect Illusion marks Gaga's return to the chart, just as it's announced that she will perform at the Super Bowl this February.
• Adele is at #1?! Something that tells me that she was mad and demanded that her song makes it to the top. Well, she got her wish. 
• So could Closer be the #1 song next week?!
• Misery being thrown in as an extra reminds me of the band, of course. 2016 may be the first chart year without M5 since 2009.
• I bet you guys are wondering what Iyaz is doing now, considering he's been out of the survey for five years.
• Sucker For Pain may have the most artists in a song since We Are The World.
• We Don't Talk Anymore may not make the Top 10, unfortunately.  :(
• Too Good becomes the 4th Top 10 hit for Drake and Rihanna together. But it looks like it'll peak at #9.

"Closer" could be #1 next week; almost certainly in two weeks. But "Cool Water" could return to the top; following the Mediabase daily/weekly rankings reversing "Cool Water" and "Send My Love..." (with Adele being #1 last week and Major Lazer/Bieber this week) would have made more sense.

But AT40 has been diverging quite a bit from that lately; when "Ride" fell from the top at MB, "Cheap Thrills" returned there for several days (a week?) Two weeks ago this seemed to suggest a Sia return to #1 for what would have been a sixth week, but 21P held on instead.

Not even close. Strictly by head count, there are 12 performers on "Sucker For Pain"...four solo artists plus four members, each, for Imagine Dragons and X Ambassadors.

Just after 9/11, a cover of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" was released by All Star Tribute. I don't have an, exact, list of performers, but by my rough estimate, we're looking at somewhere in the neighborhood of 35.

In 2008, "Just Stand Up!" by Artists Stand Up To Cancer was a collaboration by 15 female artists.

When introducing the song at number two, Ryan mentioned that Justin Bieber was the first solo male artist since 1988 to score at least three number one songs in the same year. Back then it was Michael Jackson and George Michael, before Justin was even born.
