The last track on Mars' 3rd LP. Written by Bruno Mars, Philip Lawrence & Kenneth ‘Babyface’ Edmonds.

He's singing his ass off on this one. Nice ballad.

I like it. Reminds me of something Michael would have done in the 70's. Probably my second least favorite on the album next to "Perm" though.

Pants down the best song I've heard in a long time. Man, I wish the R&Bers of today would take his lead. This is a straight eargasm. It's the perfect "drunk call your ex song." I abhor my ex but this song takes me back to July, 2007 when it ended and how I was feeling then.

What the hell was he talking about "no ballads?" This is so good. Definitely an album highlight.

This song is the perfect showcase of Bruno's gift for songwriting. The man can craft the most tuneful of ballads; it almost feels like he's from another era, when music was music. He's incredible.

What the hell was he talking about "no ballads?" This is so good. Definitely an album highlight. I am becoming increasingly convinced that he just really, really, really, really hates Grenade (and JTWYA to a lesser degree). He has admitted that he didn't like that people kept calling him a 'crooner' during his first era so it seems he's been trying to distance himself from that label ever since.

I'm usually never been big on his slower tempo/ballads, but this is really good. My only thing is like most of his music I hope this doesn't have a high burnout rate for me.

Next Hot AC single. The track is currently under Cool New Music at that format on AllAccess.

Since Bruno doesn't mess his songs' chances w/ one format releases it's likely the 4th single.

I like this a lot. Not my favourite of his by any means, and probably one of my least favourite songs on the new album, but it is still quite good. I can see it going top 10 HotAC, and hopefully top 20 on CHR.

Very predictable last single. I was hoping that he would release "Finesse" or "Chunky" but that probably won't happen now.

This was the right choice after "Versace on the Floor" underperformed. Even though it sounds like an old Jackson 5/Jacksons ballad, it has the most contemporary pop appeal of the tracks.

I was also team "Chunky" or "Finesse." This was more last single material for me. But he's on tour for a long time, if by some chance this does end up being a hit, we'll probably get another single.

To be completely honest, if Versace didn't become a hit, this definetely won't. Still a decent song though, I don't mind it being a single

To be completely honest, if Versace didn't become a hit, this definetely won't. Still a decent song though, I don't mind it being a single Bruno just let Versace be. That's what the buzz was. After Atlantic got the nerve to push Guetta remix as the official version at pop he stopped supporting it. Normally even when the callouts are bad he's all about his single, but Versace wasn't even added to any major playlist on Spotify. The video was filmed months ago and he dropped it w/o warning. I'm pretty sure Too Good to Say Goodbye is the final single though. It's a conceptual album: he opened this era with the 1st track and now closing it with the last one.

I hope he experiments a little more new album musically. I love the retro throwbacks but Im ready now for something new and innovative.

This seems like a terrible single choice, considering how similar it is to VOTF which flopped hard. Yeah I know that was also partly due to lack of promotion, but there's no way it was gonna go very far with callout that had even if he had performed it or something. I'd probably go with Chunky instead, which is basically 24k Magic part 2 -- despite that one not getting much traction initially, it ended up having great longevity and is STILL in the top 100 of iTunes right now so it obviously connected with people.

I hope he experiments a little more new album musically. I love the retro throwbacks but Im ready now for something new and innovative. My exact thoughts, I love 24K Magic, Unorthodox Jukebox and Uptown Funk. But the whole retro thing is getting a bit old and gimmicky, that sound is starting to define him which irks me since he's such a diverse songwriter and singer. I hope he branches out for his next record and does something different, or at least go back to some of his old style, I kind of miss emotional Bruno.

This was kinda like his "Back to Basics" if I can even go there, but I wonder what approach he'll take on the next record.

I love this song but probably not going to be a hit, maybe perform like Gorilla, hoping for the best though Also a little awkward to have this song out with the (almost) similarly titled Sam Smith song

This sounds like a decent R&B ballad. A long lost M.J. song. I like Bruno Mars. How is this doing on the charts?

I think the chord progression in this is really cool, as is the production and melody, but the lyrics are so cheesy and cliche. But this is Bruno Mars so I guess I should’ve expected that. Lol. This will probably do well, at least on HAC.

If this is really the next single, I don't know what they're waiting for...
