The tracklisting for Lauren's album sounds awesome. Some promising songwriters and titles on the set, and I love that she's listed as a co-writer on all 12 tracks. Like 14887fan, I'm kinda glad that "History" got ditched, especially since they cut "Breakdown" from the record; I actually don't mind "History" (though it was easily my least favorite on the EP from last fall and it had to grow on me, while the other 4 were all instant), but I don't think I could've handled it making the record knowing that "Breakdown" didn't. :'(

Ugh, it feels so great knowing that we've got another Lauren Alaina album coming our way in under two months. We've just had to wait so long for this day to come :'(
Also v impressed that she co-wrote the entire album.

Artist: Sunny Sweeney Album: Trophy Label: Thirty Tigers Release date: March 10, 2017
Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Sunny Sweeney will release her fourth album Trophy on March 10th via Thirty Tigers. Trophy, featuring the young troubadour’s most serious set of songs, offers a new side of Sunny Sweeney. Rootsy and real, Trophy showcases Sweeney's maturation as a songwriter and as an artist growing into her own.
Trophy is the follow-up to Provoked (2014), which offered a glimpse into where Sweeney was headed. Billboard, Rolling Stone Country, No Depression, The Washington Post and Elle are just a handful of the outlets that supported Sweeney's direction. NPR’s All Things Considered said, “Sunny Sweeney has all the right stuff for country stardom - a Texas pedigree, a heart-melting voice, stunning looks and the ability to seem both tough and vulnerable”. On Concrete, her 2011 major label release, Sweeney became the first female artist to reach the Top 10 on the country radio charts in over a decade.
Sweeney has never been afraid to write about personal experiences, her unapologetic honesty and revealing vulnerability shows her as an artist who is equally as tough as she is tender. On Trophy it's clear that she's in a positive place, however the variety of songs on the album take listeners on an emotional rollercoaster. On the gorgeous “Grow Old With Me” and “Nothing Wrong With Texas”, Sweeney taps into the themes of love and sense of place. A highlight of the album, “Bottle By My Bed” is a heart-wrenching song expressing the sadness and frustration of not having a child. Though she didn’t set out to, Sweeney co-wrote the majority of Trophy with female writers, including four songs with Grammy Award-winning songwriter Lori McKenna. Her resulting songs capture the feminine experience with a combination of nuance, humor and accuracy only possible from the perspective of Sweeney and her collaborators. Trophy was produced by Grammy-nominated engineer/producer Dave Brainard (Brandy Clark's 12 Stories).

I don't know what's better a Sunny Sweeney album or a Lauren Alaina album! Both women are so amazing. Sunny Sweeney had one of my favorite albums of 2014 and I can't wait to hear new music from her

MR Well first things first is to drop "Circles" (it isn't going anywhere, and it probably won't make it any higher) and get a new single asap. But given the fact that she just got done with DWTS I don't know how much new York she has ready to go!

Keep in mind that after "Love" stalled out just below the Top 30. I was convinced that Jana Kramer career was done and she would never be in the spotlight. With Jana Kramer I am never gonna fully rule her out of getting another hit.

It's not her fault her label Warner screwed up with her singles or that radio seems to only want to play certain females I know next year she will be doing shows in Canada and London. Far as tv goes ,she recently was a judge on the reality show "Chopped Junior" so maybe while waiting on new music ,she will do more acting.

Oh goodness, a new Sunny Sweeney album is coming out in just 3 months! Awesome news! She's one of my absolute favorites. I love the hell out of her voice and her songwriting and musical style is perfection. I was just hoping the other day when I discovered her new Xmas single that she'd be blessing us with new music soon and lo and behold, there it is. That's a beautiful album cover, too.

Unsaid (Caitlyn Smith/Sunny Sweeney) Bummed that it's only 10 songs since her last record had 13, but the titles and songwriting credits sound so promising (so many Lori McKenna co-writes!). Didn't expect it, but I would've also loved if she'd thrown "But You Like Country Music" on there so I could have that on an album. Very excited, nonetheless.

I was just coming to post this. Not exactly the type of album I wanted from her next, but it'll be great to have something new from Reba! I completely agree with you. Although at least it looks like there is some original material interspersed between the classic hymns! Plus with it being 2 discs and all... I can forgive her :) Also if the production is awesome an album like this could still be really good!
